worked for my need
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to connect my iPad to an AKAI MPK mini MKII USB (only) music keyboard in order to use my music synthesizer apps onstage. It didn't work at first saying there wasn't enough power in the iPad to power the keyboard, but I found that if I connected a cheap garden variety USB hub in between it fooled the iPad into thinking it had the power. Now it all work great!

Great cable for transferring photos

They (AT&T) doesn’t sell them, but they use them to help customers. Instead of sitting there (for hours), decided to purchase the cable and do the transfer in the comfort of my home. Wonderful cable!

Works fine for intended use

It will not work trying to read an SD or QED card. For that, you need the powered adaptor from Apple. So, I had to buy that one. If you just want to plug your camera into the Lightning port, just get a simple cord with the right ends on it.

Typical Apple Quality

I bought mine to connect an AudioQuest Dragonfly Red to an iPhone... and mine still has it’s own headphone jack... The only way it would be better, and earn one more star is if it had a lightning pass-thru. I can use my DAC or charge, but not both.

Another Expensive Apple Accessory

It is almost a speciality item that I have not used often enough to date to justify the cost. If you have a friend that owns this item, I would suggest you borrow it rather than purchase the item. Unfortunately, mine will probably gather dust before I have the need to use it again

Laptop to TV via HDMI

Sometimes the TV casting option doesn't always give you the best resolution. One thing I need to mention is the volume did not work connecting directly to the TV. I had to plug into the soundbar for sound. (All Sony). After I figured that out, it worked faultless.
