DIGITAL OUT FOR EXTERNAL DAC

It works well. This is the second one I have because the first one failed. Apple makes their power cables and lightning cables easy to fail without having visible wear.

Helpful for connecting things to other things

Before this, the only way to connect my camera to my iPad was to hook up a series of paper clips trying to touch all of the tiny contacts together, and even then results varied. This has made it so much easier to get photos off of my old camera and into my iPad!

Adapter works well
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Apple USB 3 Camera Adapter works well to connect my iPad Pro to an SD card reader. The reader didn't work with the simple USB adapter because it required more power. By using the USB 3 Camera Adapter with external power I am able to power the SD card reader and view pictures from my DLSR camera (which doesn't have the ability to send pictures to the computer over WiFi or Bluetooth).

It sure looks like it would work, but it doesn't. He gave this to me since we have a camera and we'll see if it works to connect a camera and transfer pictures to our iPad Air. I suspect that it will be fine, since that it was it's designed to do.

OVERPRICED

It came with a regular android Plug and obviously i needed this for my IPad to work. It works fine but, man $39.00 for that little thing. POO !!!!!
