Excellent, but too pricey.

Needed an adapter to connect my iPad to my keyboard (piano). I took two stars off because in my opinion, this is way too expensive for what it is. Typical Apple product pricing.

Quick transfers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.You used to be able to get the old 30 pin SD and USB readers for the price of just one of these, although the old cords did not transfer video. That is the only negative, because these transfers pictures and videos extremely fast. The advantage to the USB reader over the SD card reader is that you can hook up any device that has a USB port regardless of how your files are stored.

Excellent Adapter

Glad this exists as doing the old camera kit to USB would have had one too many adapters chained together. Keyboard was recognized without any issues and powered by the iPad. For some reason Best Buy had this at $3.99 higher than Apple, but price matched, so got at Apple's price.
