I hated the price though... Oh yeah sound quality is a 10!

It's a cord, and it works

I'm not sure why it's advertised as a "camera adapter" - I use it to connect my rMBP to my Casio Privia keyboard and run it through Garageband, where I produce and record hilarious songs about cord advertising and nomenclature. So far, it's worked perfectly.

Tool I needed

Best Buy Staff WAS OVER THE TOP helpful to find this for me. Inventory said it was there somewhere in the store :) They kept looking, waited about 10 minutes, so worth the wait. Very diligent and friendly staff.!!

Not the original intent, but it works for that. If using it that way, you MUST have a powered hub when the current draw on your peripherals get above a certain point. I read a lot of reviews about it not working, but that’s not the case.

Not very useful for my purpose

I ended up returning this team b/c the mobile phone still required power. It worked but it was clunky.

Works perfectly with Nikon Camera

They were able to easily connect their Nikon camera to the adapter and then to the iPad and import in their photos every night. They said it worked great and it helped them with piece of mind that there photos were safe and off the camera.

Just one thing to watch for

I tried it with a 1 gig USB and it worked fine. That's why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5

USB headset to lightning iPhone lifesaver

When she wanted to play it with it on her iPhone, this came to the rescue. Her headset worked after a few adjustments with it.
