Owned it for a few months now. It's faster than my M1 Studio and handles all weird perusing and data tasks well. I also run Windows 11 via Parallels and had no isuues. Only thing i don't like is the placent of the power button, but i only touch that once a day. Highly recommended!

A few weeks into my experience with it (specs: M4, 512GB internal SSD, 24GB memory), overall a great desktop computer and very happy with the purchase. I would like to give it more than 4 stars, but I don't think it earns a full 5 stars. Some observations: > ethernet-based data transfer/migration from previous Intel-based Mac mini with a 10GB ethernet port seemed slow; had expected it to be much quicker > otherwise, migration worked as expected > while there was significant performance improvement across most applications in previous desktop, not all saw this (e.g. not much perceived with MS apps) > I would have preferred the audio jack to be in the back to connect to exterior speakers > appreciate the two USB-C ports in the front but would have liked to see at least an additional USB-A port in the back > setting up Time Machine with external SanDisk SSD was problematic (formatting failure a couple of times, but eventually worked ok); periodically, I still get an error/failure message on backups (setup for daily) > occasionally, wired keyboard (from Macally) doesn't register first key press as if it had gone to sleep; this never happened with previous Mac mini > as (almost) always, excellent Apple customer service support > surprisingly, runs much cooler than previous Mac mini > price-wise, the incremental costs for the internal SSD and memory upgrades frankly almost seem onerous, particularly when compared to options for other competing desktops

Mac Mini is just so good at handling all my tasks that I am always amazed at how powerful this small device is.

I replaced my M1 Max Mac Studio with the Mac Mini M4. I had some concerns for loss of performance, but took a chance. My Mac Studio had 32 GB RAM while my new Mac Mini M4 has 24 GB. No issues in performance. The Mac Mini M4 performs flawlessly with single CPU tasks such as web browsing & launching application having a more responsive result.

Thing is blazing fast, and with 24 GB of RAM it never gets hung up on anything

The Mac mini is a pretty nice computer. Please be aware that it does not come with a keyboard or mouse, you'll need to purchase those separately, you can get a docking station which can house up to a 4 TB drive for $99 from Best buy. The additional hard drive for use in the docking station will cost you between $80 and $400 depending on the model. If you are in the Apple ecosphere, then this is a no-brainer. It comes with Mac OS, 15.2, free updates, software to do office work and much more.

This is perfect and my son is very pleased. He chose it to use with his music and recording.

Quite the upgrade from a 2017 iMac. Super quick and super quiet.

A fast computer handles raw photo files and is small for taking up space.

I love the size of it. I was disappointed because I was expecting an increase in speed (things to load quicker) when I upgraded to this from my MacBook Pro M1, but I can't see a difference in performance at all. I still gave it 5 stars because it does work and it is small enough to tuck away behind the monitor which frees up desk space.

For my first time actually having a home setup I am really glad I went with this Mac mini. It is perfect for what I am doing (mainly school and work). I do not know if I would go any higher with the SSD only because you would be able to add a seperate portable SSD to it and give it more. I would recommend this to anyone who is into getting apple products and loved how easy it was to transfer everything over from my laptop.

The item is good. It is easy to setup. Customer service is good. They were really responsive with my concern. But one thing I dont really like..it's the logistics. The company who was delivering the item didnt have any idea where the item was when it was not delivered. It took them almost a week to figure it out. Disappointed with the deliver company.

The equipment has worked great for coding and task that requiere a better performance equipment. If you already have an external screen this is it for your work from home office!

Love the Mac mini. This is the first Mac owned in the last few decades. Throwing out Windows desktop for Mac has been a good decision for our family.
