Perfect for graphic and video production. Boot times are amazing. FAST processing times in apps like Photoshop (and I'm talking about large GB files). I'm able to work close to real-time when rendering video and applying FX in Final Cut Pro X. My last project took about one-third the time to complete, thanks to it's quick rendering abilities. This New MacPro walks all over my previous G5 MacPro! I was a little apprehensive with its physical size compared to my previous behemoth. But, dynamite comes in small packages these days! AND it can actually sit on my desktop! I was initially concerned with the 256 GB solid state hard drive. Knowing I would eat up that space quickly with video, I chose to also purchase an external Thunderbolt 4TB G-Drive RAID to store files and video footage. The internal hard drive is devoted to only the operating system and application installations. While there are a few things I wish were different, overall I'm HIGH IMPRESSED. Kudos to Apple!

I finally pulled the trigger on this Apple Pro desktop unit. It is super fast and incredibly compact but powerful. It is nice to see that Apple finally allows us to upgrade a Mac Pro ourselves when we are ready to with ease.

I'm a designer and deciding this or a high spec iMac, I went with the 6-core iMac. It's costly, but I wanted someone that would last me awhile and handle all the programs with ease. This computer is amazing. It loads and processes programs super fast and easy without any hiccup. I definitely recommend!

Great computer. Powerful and easy to set-up and use

The Mac Pro is awesome. It has built in hdmi and plenty of ports. Havent had an issue and its compact. most people dont know its a computer they think its art. Defiantly going to buy another.

I needed to update my computers for my business and these units have been a perfect choice. I bought two of them.

This unit is lightning fast and so quiet, that live recording for voice overs and music is no problem. I bought a solid state external La Cie thunderbolt 500 Gb. Drive to hold a projects and their necessary files. I got the sixteen gigs of ram to facilitate light animation for some clients. The construction of the unit is solid and inconspicuous.

I upgraded from a 7 year old Mac tower Pro Quad Core -- a very solid workhorse after my LCD Cinema display finally died. The Mac Pro - 6-Core Intel® Xeon® Processor - 16GB Memory - 256GB Flash Storage is great. The set-up was simple and easy -- 2 hours --and my production is better than ever.

Needed a high power computer for our computer monitor. Worked great, and was exactly the specifications that we needed.

Highly recommend for anyone interested in a powerful workstation for the most intensive programs.

The only thing I can say bad about this computer is that I wish the power button was on the front. The computer is soooooo fast as soon as you click on anything it will open immediately. Very pricey but well worth the money if you are a power user. This computer is for professionals or someone who loves getting thing done quickly.

This Mac is one of the most impressive machines I've worked on. It renders 4k video at incredible speeds. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who works with 4k video.

Gave it a 4 because of the steep price. All in all, I know I am getting a beast of a machine. I haven't used it really to edit a feature yet but my MacBook Pro edited 2 feature films like a champ when it probably shouldn't have been able to. To have the capability to have 6 hard drives running is super cool! I have 5 running right now while creating a DVD file! This is twice the horsepower and I will update this review when I really put it to the test.
