This is the first mac I have ever owned..and I love it! it didnt take long for me to adjust to the operating system at all. I'm a flight attendant and travel blogger. In addition to flying for work, I also fly a lot on my own time and to visit friends and family. I was in dire need of something that would be compact, lightweight and easy to pack but also needed it to be sturdy enough and easy to type on. I have an iPad mini and had invested in a study little keyboard case for it, but it was still too small to type as fast and comfortably as I normally do. This laptop is everything i needed and more! The only thing that frustrates me is that that it has to be stowed for takeoff and landing, because it weighs over 2 lbs(barely..but thats the FAA weight limit for electronic devices..everything 2 lbs or over must be stowed for taxi, takeoff and landing) other than that..this mac is great! i am a petite female in my mid20s, but have abnormally long arms and bigger hands for someone my size..and its still perfect. I love

Lightweight and easy to use and carry, also very thin but seems strong enough to not bend.

Don't let the size and weight of the laptop fool you, it is a great machine. Granted its not the same as a power desktop, but if you are new to Apple or use only Apple products, it integrates speed and power for what it has included under the hood and runs great. Very lightweight, can run several apps in the background and so far no lag. Long battery life and very fast start up. Would buy this again.

Portable, fast, reliable and Powerful. You can't go wrong with MacBook Air, it packs a lot of features into a small size.

It is the latest version. I believe it will become popular soon. The size is nice if you are on trip. light and durable!

I love this new MacBook Air!!! Needing to replace my 8year old MacBook, I really took my time and did my homework deciding if I was going to stick with Apple because I really didn't want to spend that much money or if i was going to jump ship and go back to a PC but in the end I went with the MacBook Air and couldn't be happier. Apple is by far a superior product and definitely worth the money. Easy to use, light as a feather this is one sexy laptop!!!!

The 11.6 Mac Air is a great school computer because it is lightweight and easily stores in your bag. I also have a Mac Pro and now only use that at home because it is much heavier than the Air. The screen is smaller of course but it sits nicely on the small amount of desk room so you can take notes while using the computer. I recommend this computer for college students looking for something easy to store in a bag and walk across campus.

I purchased the MacBook Air as a Christmas gift for my college bound daughter. She has always had Macs and this fit all the criteria for her remaining months in high school and upcoming college use. She loves the light weight feel and size and being a Mac, she knows it fits her current and future needs! Quick and long battery charge, no pop ups, less chance of viruses, portability, and dependability! All around - a perfect choice!

I have had this laptop for 3 months now and I love it. I am really happy that I waited to purchase this after Christmas instead of Black Friday because I got a better deal and saved $250 including student discount. I like the size for school, it's not too heavy or big to carry around in your backpack or in your hands. Very portable. I switched from windows to mac and it wasn't hard to learn how to use the laptop.

Got a great deal on an open box MacBook Air. I really needed an easily portable option to use while away from the office out of town each week. So easy to sync up Apple products and fluidly transition from iMac to MacBook Air and 6s Plus. Beautiful, light, strong battery, clear screen, lighted keyboard, quiet... Well done Apple.

I loved the size of this computer. It is very lightweight and convenient to carry around.

Was concerned at first with the small size of this MacBook but couldn't be more happy with my purchase. It's extremely light making it easy to transport to class, the airport, etc. Graphics are of great quality and the speed it superb for the size of the machine. Would recommend this machine to anyone looking for a new MacBook. I had a MacBook Pro (13") previously and am much happier with this machine.

I was iffy about buying this laptop simply because of its smaller build. But actually taking it home and playing around with it, I liked the small design. I've been using it mainly for school and streaming videos. This laptop deserves a good review for its performance.

I purchased this computer for college. The size is perfect for being able to take to class as well as to study groups at local coffee shops. The compact size however doesn't sacrifice performance in the least. The salesman at BB also suggested I get MS office for Mac which works fantastic on this computer. I liked it so much I purchased a second one for my daughter who is a freshman in high school.

Nice, fast computer. It is very light weight. Very user friendly. I was on the fence about spending so much on a computer for an 11 year old. My own experience with a low end laptop that was slow and frequently hung up made me go with a product that my child can grow with. Thanks to Matts help, I was able to get it at a much more reasonable price! Great advice and excellent customer service!

Bought it for my wife. She loves it and is now taking individual tutorials at the Apple store in Walnut Creek. She particularly likes the size and weight, making it portable in her purse. She is an avid poster on Pinterest and Etsy and is constantly putting together collages of granddaughter pictures. That's what grandmothers do when they're not spending Facetime with their grandchildren.

The speed at which this laptop processes information or applications is excellent. The size is a huge plus too. Battery life is above average.

Lightweight, fast, and powerful for basic computing at school and on line. User friendly and and easy to link with other Apple devices and the cloud. If had touchscreen would be 5 stars
