Great bargain for portable mac. Good battery life, lightweight however the screen feel dated

I've always wanted a Macbook, but never wanted to spend the money and I was always used to Windows computers. I finally splurged and will never go back to a Windows. Display is crystal clear and processor is super fast.

i really had to look at the difference with the new version that doesn’t have the extra perimeter and the savings of the older version. because i don’t need the extra storage i chose the older version

Purchased this laptop as a gift for my mom who is in mid 60's and has very little computer knowledge. She just needed something user friendly in which she could access internet and so far this has been a great investment.

I needed to upgrade my 08 MacBook Pro and didn’t need quite that much computing power this time around. This is a perfect computer to still get quite a bit done in a smaller package. Still unlocking its potential as I go.

I bought this laptop for my daughter for Christmas. She is a senior in high school and it is working very well for her. I'm confident it will last through college too!

This laptop was nice and I got it for $700, but they had a 1day apple event and traded up for the newer model with more screen and retina for only $150 more. All in All this laptop is great.
