Having a MacBook Pro, needed something a little more compact. The MacAir is great in size and weight, everything I need to be able to work on my presentations more effective instead of on my phone on the go works great. Computer runs great, smooth and fast. I would recommended this for someone who wants a light laptop to carry around but also needs more then a basic laptop. Great product over all very happy with it. I picked the lowest model hard drive since on the go most of my things are in my google drive. At home purchased a 4TB hard drive to store or all files. Comes out cheaper as well.

I love Apple products very much as they are far superior than the other brands. I bought this MacBook for my college-going son & he enjoys using this very much. This has a 13.3-inch screen size with an Intel Core i5 processor and 256GB of SSD plus a great battery life which is about 10 hours. Its long battery life is a key feature, especially for the students as they are not stationed at one place throughout the day. The other plus point is its design which is extremely thin, lightweight & makes it easy to carry without putting any extra burden on the shoulders. It can be easily carried in a backpack, purse, briefcase, etc. It is a great, versatile, and powerful machine that runs all the programs you want and gives the best performance. It runs smoothly and works perfectly when synced to the iPhone and/or Apple Watch. If you like to do video editing, downloading movies, school work, etc then this is the ideal choice. I am very satisfied with this purchase and I recommend this to everyone because of its overall performance. The Macbook Air is a great value for anyone looking for a nice laptop. It's lightweight, sleek, and small. It features a long battery life, solid performance, and decent audio/video. The SSD noticeably improves performance and I feel this is a great laptop for any student or casual gamer.

As a student I've had a couple laptops from different brands & they would give me problems pretty soon after buying them. This is my first MacBook & I absolutely love it! It's the perfect size & weight so I can carry it in my backpack or my bag wherever I go. I've been using it for almost a year now, the battery life is great & it looks cute with the case that I also bought at Best Buy. Definitely recommend it!

As a student, I’ve gone through so many laptops that typically have a 1-2 year lifespan. This Macbook has changed my life. The software is easy to adapt to switching from a Windows user. I love the ability to still use all Microsoft office products on it. It’s anti virus system is like no other. My favorite part is the connection to my Apple Watch & iPhone for FaceTime and iMessage capabilities! Overall, It is sleek, easy to use, and lightweight. It’s perfect for the multitasker, the student, the researcher—or someone who is all three! I love it & I’ll probably never go back to a Windows based computer again.

I was hesitant at first when buying a macbook air, coming from the macbook Pro I thought this little machine wouldn't be powerful enough or have enough storage. I absolutely loved this air so much that I am going to buy another one. It's so light and it's fast! Since I use my icloud storage for just about everything storage has not been an issue at all. I totally recommend this model!

I've been using Apple products for over 6 yrs. This MacBook is everything! It's very light weight, fast, durable, and has everything I need to work from anywhere in the world. I purchased it at a great Deals of the Day price plus a birthday discount :). This is a must have for any educator, student, or anyone looking for a great quality product!

Love my five year old Air, but it is showing it's age. Went for the new version, longer battery life (eventually my old Air's battery will fade but it's doing well still), faster/better processor but most importantly, 8 GB Ram. Through BestBuy program points, a nice discount. Wanted larger screen, full size roomy keyboard, Very happy.

Strongly recommended for students because of its size, weight, battery power, and speed. 4 stars because previous model suddenly stopped working before three year mark.

I was looking for a high-quality lightweight laptop. After extensive research, I decided to buy this one as it met all my needs. It's perfect for work, study, blogging, etc. and the price is decent. It was easy to set up, although I did have to call Apple support for a minor bug that got resolved in a few minutes.

This MacBook is compact, light and powerful. I bought it for my business while I travel but I use it even at home now instead of my desktop. I am an Android user and I have had no problem learning to navigate it, one of the best purchases I have made. I loved it so much I bought one for my son for Christmas.

I bought my first MacBook in 2010 when my kids were issued one in school. I bought one just like it and have used it for 7 years without any issues with virus or maintenance. I wanted to get the new one. It's a lot thinner and lighter than my old one. It's user friendly and very reliable.

I purchased this as a gift for my 13 yo niece. It has everything she needs and syncs up nicely to her other apple products. Having owned numerous Apple products over the years I know she will enjoy its excellent reliability as well as the benefits of its excellent design and lightweight.

Had the 2012 Macbook Air, which I sold because I used an iPad rather than a computer. Would not have bought this except at $699 as Deal of the Day, it was too good to pass up. The 2017 model is faster then my previous MacBook Air. While the IOS takes up more room than it used to, it is less space than Windows and doesn’t constantly update. Bought a cheap Dell that can no longer update Windows because of lack of room. The Air is older technology, as reviews point out, but my Apple products have always been very reliable and Apple stores are available and the staff is helpful. I have some familiarity with several systems and find Apple just more user friendly. It took longer to find something as basic as line spacing in Word, while Pages had it immediately visible. The Air may be a bit dated and lack a retina screen, but keeping it simple and quality control are worth something. Keyboard and track pad are still among the very best. Read the Air wil either be updated and cheaper or discontinued, but who knows. Think Air is a good value if deeply discounted, which makes the it very competitive with the endless Windows machines that are on the market, many of which are not even in stores to actually experience things like touch screen, keyboard and touch pad.

My high school son has been very pleased with this computer. The battery life is great and the capacity to have many windows open at once is all we had hoped. This computer is thin and the most light weight laptop we have owned. So far it seems very durable and virus resistant.

This laptop is simple to use, incredibly quick, long battery life, charges quickly, lightweight but fairly sturdy. But it is still a laptop so get the protection plan!

This computer is a great value for the price. It operates well, has nice graphics, and is a perfect size (not too small, not too big). It is very light. It was super easy to set up. Everything was simple, straightforward, and was done in about 20 minutes.

Fast, light weight and has tons of options online for keyboard covers and cases. All macs come with great software for all types of users I definitely recommend this laptop if your looking for a long term assistant this thing is built to last.

Everything I expected and then some. Fast. Light. Makes everything easy. My mail is better organized than it's ever been. Ditto photos. This is a great machine. Perfect for travel but it doesn't feel small on a desk (13") Worth the extra $$$.
