    Overall, exactly what you expect from an apple laptop in a compact design. Not the highest performance machine for the money. New keyboard design is more responsive and it's nice to have a standard USB-C connection. Definitely need to upgrade memory to 16GB minimum.

    I love my MBAir. Fast, light, boots in a second, battery life is amazing. The only thing I don't like as much about it is the keyboard. Keystroke travel is really short making typing more challenging. For some reason I cannot go as fast. I think the keys have to be hit harder - head on to register, Also beware that these keyboards are prone to dust "attacks" that will render it useless by making a key non-responsive. Get a keyboard condom (dust cover) for it. They sell them very inexpensively at Amazon.
