After nearly 10 years, it was time to upgrade my MacBook. The new 2019 Air is as fantastic machine and beautiful. Very pleased.

i had an old macbook(2010 model) for about 10 years, finally started failing on me. it was time to buy a new one. got this new Macbook Air on black friday since the price was good. i wish i would have done a litttttttle more research though before buying this version. all new electronics are switching over to the new USB-C ports, so i had to then buy a port adapter to i was able to plug in my phone or usb so that set me back another $80, not a huge deal but instead of completely switching ports it would be nice to leave an old one on there for people like me that still own all the old ways of plugging in lol. also the Air does not have a cd drive, so im unable to upload the sonogram pictures of my kid we have on a disk from the hospital.

Overall, I really love my MacBook. The only reason I’d give 4 stars is that over the year I’ve had it, I have multiple occasions where it doesn’t start up quickly and for unknown reasons. It’s not a consistent issue, periodically it’s just difficult to wake from sleep mode or start up initially. Other times it’s fine. I’ve questioned from the beginning if it’s just normal. It’s also always run hot after an hour or so of use the fan becomes quiet loud. I’ve prevented this by placing it on a cooling fan stand. Otherwise, it’s great.

I got total tech-support and had no idea how much was bundled up in one package but geek squad at the concord mall on Warmington Westchester Pike was extremely helpful they spent four hours from 8 AM to 12 PM taking care of all my technical support needs I have never had any customer service like this in my entire life Hands-down they are the best

MacBook Air is amazing laptop to have! This laptop works wonderfully especially when you have siblings who use it for their own homework assignments. Very organize and neat to own. As a college student is amazing product to have to your course subjects, especially if you like to keep things is order.

I’ll start with first I’m not the most tech savvy person, so I won’t be able to give you a review based on specs and all that Jazz. I am an Apple person, and it’s predominantly the reason I got the MacBook. The picture is very grainy, and I’ve seen much clearer quality on other laptops. It’s tough not being a ole to download the same apps as you can for your phone. I already had Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe on my iPad and phone, but apparently it’s a different version for the Mac, which meant that I have to pay for a different packaging for the same service. Also Best Buy/ Apple we’re offering 4months of free iTunes, but the promo code that was given by Best Buy first said 1 month free, then I tried again and it said only 3 months. Customer service for both BB and Apple were awful pinning the blame on each other, and still neither one has resolved this issue for me yet. I gotta say this is basic laptop with a fancy brand label slapped on it. Overall it gets things done, but part of me wish I’d gotten the Samsung laptop instead.
