Performance is lightning-fast and completely silent thanks to the fanless design, while the display and speakers are top-tier. My only small drawback is the limited ports, so you might need a dongle for extra connections. Overall, it’s a stylish, reliable powerhouse that’s well worth the investment.

It's lightweight, fast, and has a great battery life. I got the Air after having 5+ MacBook Pros over the past decade, and I'm glad I've switched over. The Sky Blue color is also a sweet little bonus.

What I like : * The color. I got the Sky Blue, fully expecting a flat color, but NO. It changes as I move it around. Yes, it is still blue, but at certain angles it appears silver. I really like that. Makes me wonder how the other colors perform. * The "Feel" - I know, this too is totally subjective, but I like the way it FEELS in my hands, the way it handles, the smooth body. Okay, so I am weird * The Keyboard : I didn't realize how much I was enjoying the backlit keys until I turned them off. The key "click" is responsive, with just enough feedback to let me know the key was indeed engaged. * Portability : easily fits in my backpack, it is light weight, and has a low footprint on whatever surface I am using * Value for the money : I realize we are in the midst of RAMageddon and therefore prices are going to be generally higher. That said, BestBuy ran a sale on the AIR M5 - the most recent AIR, just released this Spring. Sweet ... What I wish was different: * keyboard : there is no number pad. I am having to learn to type again! I am so dependent on the number pad, especially for entering more that 2 digits! APPLE: please give us a number pad?? Even if it has to be only on the 15" models... * Screen Size : the 13" is small, and the fonts as shipped are minuscule. Yes, that can be adjusted, but then that takes up way more screen real estate. Besides, I am So Used to the 40" curved screen I use for my PC. Yes, I understand I could connect the AIR to that screen ... just haven't yet figured out HOW. I am toying with exchanging this for a 15", but am concerned about how that would affect the portability. * Learning Curve : Okay, but I am a total newbie, and I knew that would be coming. Nothing anyone can do about that.

Out performs anything I’ve ever had in the past. It’s so light and feels so smooth. The battery life is great, it lasts all day for me at school. I’m so happy with it.

Amazingly fast and sooo light! This laptop is awesome! I used to always get a MacBook Pro, but with the M5 chip I no longer even notice this laptop is not a pro model (other than it's so much lighter to carry around). The midnight color is gorgeous! This thing is amazing. The team at Best Buy are always very professional and polite. I will continue to be a Best Buy fan for life.

It’s a pretty good laptop for music, it runs FL Studio pretty smoothly, Battery life is amazing and it’s just an incredible powerful light laptop.

First MacBook laptop ever. Really light and portable for college. I like the integration with the iPhone. Unlocks with the Apple Watch. I recommend watching YouTube videos on what to do with a new MacBook to unlock some hidden features and download anything else needed to optimize your user experience.

I’ve been very happy with this MacBook Air. The M5 chip is extremely fast and responsive, and the 24GB of memory and 1TB SSD give me plenty of storage and performance for everyday use, multitasking, and creative work. The battery life has also been excellent, and the laptop is lightweight and easy to carry around. The build quality and display are great, and overall it feels like a premium laptop that should last for years. I would definitely recommend it.

It looks the same as the last one, but the new M5 chip is a low-key beast—it’s roughly twice as fast as the old M1, so everything feels instant. The best part? Apple finally stopped being stingy and doubled the base storage to 512GB, plus they bumped the starting RAM to 16GB, so you won't outgrow it in a year. It's still dead silent because there’s no fan, and the battery is a tank that’ll easily get you through 15+ hours of browsing or streaming. It’s a bit pricier now at $1,099, but for a machine this thin that can actually handle "pro" tasks without breaking a sweat, it’s a total steal.

I mean what can I say, it’s a MacBook, it’s everything I expected and more. It’s premium feel and fantastic warranty/service options, definitely worth the money. I also want to add that the service I received inside the Best Buy was top notch, they treated me with respect and acted like I was their number 1 priority. Great job Best Buy, and great job apple for the product.

Apple always finds a way to make previous accessories incompatible. It would have been awesome if they moved the mag safe power cable to the back or to the other side of the laptop. This way the double USB C connection can still be used with double USB C attachments. Then the added connections can be used while the laptop is charging. Otherwise a very nice upgrade, still 5 star imho.
