I ordered it yesterday and today I went to pick it up. Excellent service and a beautiful computer.

I really like apples user in the user interface for their laptop, but the MacBook Air specifically has a lot of trouble keeping up with my daily tasks. And I only run basic programs. My recommendation is if you're going to invest the money, just buy the pro and save yourself the headache.

This MacBook Air M4 is exactly what I needed. It’s insanely fast, super lightweight, and the battery lasts all day without slowing down. I traded down from a MacBook Pro, and don't feel any impact to my day-to-day use (I'm not a gamer, graphic designer, or content creator). I also love that the M4 chip is solid state. And the processing speed compared with my old laptop is like night and day. The speakers aren't as good, but that's not a big deal for me. I don't quite get the upsides of the new (fabric) power cord, and even after a couple of weeks, I think it looks like an aftermarket item. And I'm not a fan of the magnetic power connector (ones I've had in the past broke with age). And it's a bummer that there aren't USB-C ports on both sides of the unit...but I don't feel too terribly impacted by that either. My major concerning issue is that for a new computer, I get a lot of hung up apps and spinning circles. So my fingers are crossed that I didn't buy a lemon. Love the Starlight color. Love how lightweight it is.

He used the laptop all night and the battery life seems to last longer than I thought, which is honestly suspicious. Downside? He loves it a little too much.
