Absolute waste of money. Day one had to reload MAC operating system. 6 months later- display fails. Best Buy repair says not under warranty and charges $630. Worthless communication. No explanation, no replies. They claim water damage. Never has this laptop been around water or spills. Always in protective case. Save your money. Don’t buy this. Junk product. Fraudulent repair.

    an exceptional laptop

This is an exceptional laptop on in just about every regard: beautiful screen with lots of real estate light, thin, easy to slip in a sleeve and take anywhere fantastic sound battery lasts about 15 hours with mixed use, more if you're just surfing the web and checking email, a bit less with prcessor intensive tasks excellent keyboard and trackpad camera and microphone work extremely well for conference calls super fast - I don't do a lot of processor intensive work (just music processing software and Logic Pro) but my daughter does with this same configuration and said it's more than up to rigorous work unless you're in the MacBook Pro level of needs I decided to trade in my MacBook Air M2 8GB for this M3 16GB and couldn't be happier. The M2 is a great computer, but it was 2 1/2 years old and the price of this M3 with trade in could not be beat. The M4 is coming out soon, and I'm sure it will be a fantastic laptop, but this more than meets my needs.

Here's a potential review for a 2024 MacBook: "I've been using my MacBook for a few weeks now, and I'm thoroughly impressed. The new design is sleek and sturdy, and the improved display is a game-changer. The colors are more vibrant, and the increased brightness makes it easier to work in different environments. Performance-wise, this MacBook delivers. The latest processor handles demanding tasks with ease, and the increased RAM ensures seamless multitasking. I've been using resource-intensive apps like Adobe Creative Cloud and Final Cut Pro, and this MacBook handles them with ease. Battery life is also impressive, easily lasting a full day with moderate to heavy use. The new charging system is also a welcome addition, making it easier to top up my battery on the go. One of the standout features for me is the improved keyboard. The new keys have a more tactile feel, making typing more comfortable and accurate. Overall, I'm thoroughly enjoying my 2024 MacBook. It's a powerful, capable, and beautifully designed machine that's perfect for anyone looking for a reliable laptop for work or play."

Absolutely love my MacBook Air. It’s fast and my iPhone and iPad work seamlessly with it. I can even use my iPad as an extended screen, not just mirror the MacBook but EXTEND it. I can do the same with my Roku devices without any cables or adapters. The 15 inch is definitely a large screen but the MacBook itself is very light. Much lighter than I thought it would be. Been using it for about 4 months now and absolutely no slow down issues. Would recommend.

I purchased this macbook air for my daughter who is a senior and going into college. I wanted something for her that was versatile yet compact. I had spent weeks comparing laptops until I was left deciding between the MacBook air and MacBook pro. I decided on the MacBook air mainly due to the lightweight design. I also couldn’t justify spending that much extra for the MacBook pro since the MacBook air had all the features she would ever need and more! This air certainly did not disappoint! Don’t let the sleek, elegant, lightweight/thin design fool you; this thing packs a punch! The large razer-sharp display is nothing short of amazing, the battery longevity is wild, and the speed is next level! Although this thing is mighty, it stays calm and cool under pressure! It doesnt overheat and it doesn’t get noisy like any of my past laptops. This is a major plus for sure! Overall, I am truly satisfied with my purchase and the only regret I have is not adding 2 of them to the cart so I could have one for myself!

I used to own a MacBook Pro 16 inch and it was amazing but I travel a lot and it was often a hassle to carry that heavy thing with me all the time. I did not want to give up the big screen though so this laptop has been perfect so far because It's over one pound lighter and still a big screen. It is also pretty snappy with day to day use. It does get quite hot when I try to play games on it but I was already expecting that since it is a fanless laptop. I am still pretty happy with it though.

Lightweight yet spacious, the 15-inch MacBook Air packs a gorgeous big display, incredible battery life, and whisper-quiet performance into an ultra-thin design. Perfect for work, study, and everyday creative tasks. Not as powerful as the MacBook Pro for heavy workloads, but for most users, it’s a sleek, reliable, and premium daily driver.

Apple really nailed it with the 15-inch M3 MacBook Air. It hits the sweet spot between performance and value, delivering fast, smooth performance in a lightweight, portable design. For everyday tasks, multitasking, and even moderate creative work, it handles everything with ease while staying quiet and cool. Battery life is excellent, the display is beautiful, and the build quality feels premium—as you’d expect from Apple. For the price, this is one of the best all-around laptops you can buy right now. I’d recommend it all day to students, professionals, and anyone looking for a powerful, reliable laptop without overpaying. Pros • Great balance of price and performance • M3 chip delivers smooth, efficient multitasking • Gorgeous 15-inch Liquid Retina display • Excellent battery life lasting all day • Lightweight, thin, and premium build quality Cons • Limited to two Thunderbolt/USB-C ports • Base storage options could be higher for the price

I had a desk top Mac and a Lenovo pc for when I traveled. Now I just have the Macbook air and I love it. The screen is tha same size as my old pc but the overall size is noticeably smaller and lighter as well. The speed, quality of the monitor, everything is top notch. Battery life is amazing. My original plan was to go from 2 computers to 1 laptop and get a larger external monitor for home where I spend far more time. But this is so good, I am in no hurry.

The MacBook Air 15” screen is the best Mac laptop I’ve owned thus far. It’s extremely fast and the display is nice and large. It doesn’t hurt that it’s also relatively light weight compared to other laptops.

I had an older version (by like a year) of this Macbook and loved it so much I bought one for myself. The MacBook Air 15" strikes an ideal balance between performance and portability. Its stunning Retina display offers vibrant colors and sharp detail, while the lightweight design makes it easy to carry. It handles multitasking, creative work, and daily tasks effortlessly, all while staying silent with its fanless design. Battery life is exceptional, lasting all day on a single charge. The Magic Keyboard, responsive trackpad, and rich speakers elevate the user experience, while seamless macOS integration is a bonus for Apple users. With its larger screen and impressive capabilities, the MacBook Air 15" delivers excellent value. I love mine!

Upgrading from an older MacBook Air Model (2013). As a software developer, this has been my go-to laptop line for my personal projects and daily driver for many-many years now. The price is significant and an argument can be made for more cost effective alternatives being available, but if you are able to afford it, the M3 MacBook Air pays dividends towards productivity with its lightweight design, exceptional battery life, and above average performance. There can be some pain points with support for scientific software packages on Apple Silicon, but with the prevalence of OSX in the developer community and easy ways to leverage VMs, there is always a solution for creating a productive environment for developing 99% of software projects.

I needed a new laptop for college. Compared to my last MacBook, this one is super fast and has great battery which is likely due to the M3 chip (I previously used an Intel MacBook). I read some reviews that said that the 15-inch screen size was too large for them, but for me, as someone who likes using split screen, the extra screen is perfect (I found my previous 13-inch screen to be a tad small. I am happy with my purchase.
