I have had this MacBook for several weeks now and it is performing just fine. It's a good machine for what I need it to do. It does not come with Pages, Numbers or other software so you will have to likely upgrade the operating system and download all those from the Apple store. This may take some time and hopefully your machine will have the memory and capacity to run it. This one is working fine and I like that it still has the regular USB ports so I can use a mouse and hook in my printer and digital camera like I had with my old Mac. It also has the CD/DVD player which gives me options with solid media and a place for another hard drive if needed. If it does okay a year from now I'll bump it up to 5 stars. The computer showed up when it said it would and I'm happy so far.

I am a 40 yr IT Career veteran and I have worked from mainframes to the current laptops running Windows. I decided to buy a Mac just to experience the difference in technology. I am very happy with my decision. This MacBook Pro had an older version of iOS so after a bit of research I got it updated to Catalina. It still seems to be fast after the upgrade. I’m still happy with my choice and looking forward to learning more.

This is my first MacBook I’ve ever had. It came early. It is pretty good for a preowned MacBook. It came with a few dings and scratches. But again it’s preowned. The only complaints that I have are: I had to phone a friend to figure out how to update it to the latest version because it was not updated at all. The battery dies pretty fast but I’m guessing that’s because of the update. And it gets really hot. Other than that it’s working great and serving its purpose for school.

My daughter needed a computer for college, I saw it had a ssd and I was sold. Quick to boot up, it just needed to be updated and we were in business. You would never know it was an older model due to the speed and capabilities of it. It was definitely worth the money...I brought the Geek Squad for piece of mind because anything can happen.

Great computer. I am a college student and this works great for my all my college work. Make sure to download the most recent software for apple and computer will work great. Mine computer had minor scratches, I just bought a case and it covered them.

This Apple MacBook Pro is light and easy to carry around to her classes. It handles all the latest programs and is compatible with all the systems at her College. Most importantly, she like it very much !!

There was no apparent wear on the computer. The OS needed to be upgraded, but that's no big deal.

Worked great In the beginning now it’s a headaches

This was a pre owned laptop, so I expected it not to be perfect, but I couldn’t even use it for 15 minutes without it getting hot. It was incredibly slow. My windows wouldn’t load or anything it was terrible. I returned it within a week of having it.
