Given the hype around the touch bar, I must admit the detail on such a small slab of screen is amazing, the way you control things and set up different functions in relation to the program being used is one of a kind. The laptop itself is very thin lightweight and the Retina display is beautiful and vibrant. Specs are very good and the computer responds very quickly couldn't be more happy with a $2000 laptop

The touch bar makes it easy to navigate. The size is perfect. It’s not too big, heavy or bulky. But it’s not super thin so I don’t feel like I’m going to break it in half.

Wonderful upgrade for my daughter. We looked at other MacBooks and other computers. This was really a wonderful deal. The student discount beats the Apple store by hundreds. She was able to get the computer she wanted. For about 800 less than she would’ve spent in the Apple store. It has the Touch Bar and it has the memory and speed (Fast) and reliability ( long battery life) that she needs for both finishing high school and for college. We haven’t had to use AppleCare yet. I am wondering how this will go when we do need it. That is my one concern. Now my younger ( by 12 months) wants a MAcBook Air. We will definitely purchase it through Best Buy when they have their Apple sale. Their student discount cannot be beat. Apple only offers a $25 student discount and only if you’re already in college. High school students are already taking college courses and are taking classes that I never had the opportunity to take it there age. They need more reliable computers. And now with COVID-19 and school being online, some of the things they are being asked to do and download require so much multitasking that only a computer like this can handle it.

I bought my 13" MacBook Pro after the graphics card in my previous pro (a 15" purchased in 2011) died. The touch bar is cool but definitely not necessary and if you want to save $300.00, you could live without. The battery life is definitely better than my past model and I haven't noticed much difference with screen resolution but that is because I haven't really tested it out. I don't love how shallow the keyboard is in comparison to previous models but I am getting used to it. I had a Best Buy gift card which is why I bought from Best Buy instead of the Apple Store.

This product is a great computer that runs very well. It is very fast and has a long lasting battery life. The Touch Bar adds a nice addition to the functioning of the computer but is not fully necessary. The only downside is not having USB or other ports but many connections are made wirelessly now anyways.

I have been an avid Windows user since personal computers were introduced. Having an iPad and a laptop dying, I thought that I would try another Apple product the MacBook Pro. It took some adjustments but I am loving the ease of this laptop. Its extremely fast and very light. I also love the Touch Bar.

Had my last MacBook Pro 10 years and is still a good machine, just can’t run the new software.. hope to get 10 years out of this one.. I don’t use the touch bar a ton but it works great.. it is super slim, light, fast and is effortless transferring and sharing Data with my iPad Pro and IPhone X..

This laptop is awesome. I purchased as I needed a portable device for work. Have a Mac desktop and the switch was really easy. The operating environment for the desktop to the laptop is the same so makes this a no brainer purchase, everything looks, feels and works the same. The laptop is beautiful and the Touch Bar is a really welcome addition. Aside from the premium price which is hard to justify, I fully recommend this laptop.

Windows enterprise level support by day...Mac user everywhere else. My last MacBook lasted ten years (actually still working fine). This new design is incredibly small, light and FAST. So easy to use. Automatically transferred all my stuff from the old one. Couldn't be happier.

I bought this computer when I retired. It’s small and powerful. The Touch Bar takes getting used to but it makes for easier operation once you get accustomed to it. Fits in any backpack and holds a charge long enough for daily use. Fast and compact.

I gave my son my old (2015) MacBook and bought this. It is much faster and I'm getting used to the touch bar. Even though it does not have a touchscreen, the touch bar definitely adds functionality. Otherwise, it is a good weight and size for what I need when traveling.

This MacBook Pro looks great in space gray. I love the touch bar where I can use smiley faces or autofill in suggestions. I also love how I can sign in using my fingerprint. It was definitely worth the upgrade. The student discount was a nice touch too.

I had a six year old MacBook Pro that was slowing down and was losing batter life. This is a world of difference. Lightweight, fast, new features like the scroll bar and fingerprint ID login. I was ready but I didn't know how much happier I'd be about owning this. I also got a great deal with Best Buy credit for 18 months interest free financing. Can't beat that at Christmas time.

My second Mac. This one is great. Light, fast, and, of course, easy to use.

I bought this laptop in a pinch when my former one bit the dust. I have always loved Apple products to complement my photography services and this one did not disappoint. It's super thin and lightweight making it great for traveling and working on the go and it provides efficiency for editing and uploading mass amounts of images. The touch bar is an added bonus! I love it.

Computer is for my wife so I don’t use it much, have noticed a major speed boost compared to her 4-5yr old MacBook Pro. Design is nice however it does take some getting used to the lack of ports on it. Touch bar is also a cool addition

I love the ease that actually synchronizes everything from the password for websites and even wifi passwords once you set up your icloud account and the touch id fingerprint everything its so straightforward once you use your regular mac without these features you'll feel uncomfortable like me my iMac I barely used it now. Battery life is great and chargers pretty quick. I love the touch bar is great having endless options for the machine the only detail I was kind of uncomfortable at the beginning was the keyboard because of its low profile but now I love it totally like it since i upgraded my MacBook Pro from one 2012 pro retina to this one its slimmer the color is beautiful HD movies look amazing definitely its a must have if upgrading your MacBook Pro to a newer one this is the way to go.

No doubts this is a great laptop, fantastic screen resolution and so easy to use touch bar. i am getting used to it..Loving it!! Best buy does the price match guarantee also so you can get it on best price in the market. The only deal is to get a USB C adapter/dock for which you might have to spend additional bucks but overall this machine rocks!!!
