I think the best MacBook to date it’s really nice made some good improvements to it I like how they finally offer the laptop with the one terabyte instead of the 512gb version like I don’t think you should have to pay through iCloud to get a terabyte or two through the app at that point your just spending extra money on an already awesome product so the and the faster processors and adding 16gb of ram is better as well you can I believe they should go more into the online gaming realm. All in all to have a laptop that you can work on and play on with your downtime as well. Great laptop!!!

The weight and size for the latest 2020 13" MacBook Pro is perfect for mobile business. I use it for design work and photo editing using Adobe Creative Cloud programs, and this machine works flawlessly. Communication with other Apple devices work seamlessly. Setup from a backup from my 15" MacBook Pro was simple and effortless. I did experience some performance issues while creating videos in iMovie with my 16GB of memory being consumed at 74% for some reason. I do not have that same issue with my 15" MBP which has almost identical hardware. Battery life has not improved much from previous models, but it is sufficient for a full-time shift.

The last 13 inch computer with an Intel processor.

When I saw that Apple still made a MacBook Pro 13 inch with an Intel processor, I decided to purchase it before they discontinued it. Unfortunately, there are some software manufacturers that decided not to make 64-bit software. Therefore, I needed to use parallels to run the Mojave operating system. Mojave does not run on ARM processors. Also, until the late 2021 computers were released, the newest 13 inch MacBook Pro computer only had two USB-C ports. Are use multiple hubs and ran many USB devices at the same time. For an Intel based Mac, I recommend at least 16 GB of RAM. I noticed a delay in live streaming when using my previous computer with 8 GB of RAM. I opted for the 1 TB SSD, but the 512 GB SSD should suffice for most people given that everything is now stored in the cloud. I would stay away from the 256 GB model because one may find one is running out of space very quickly. I know I will eventually have to transition to Apple Silicon, but for anyone waiting to make the switch, I recommend this computer.

Bought for the wife’s birthday. She upgraded from a mid 2012 macbook pro 13”. Speed and memory upgrades are nice. She does love the new Magic keyboard. My only negative is the thunderbolt/usb-c only ports. Never had a problem with the old one, dont expect one with this either.

After years of burning through Windows PCs once a year or so, I made the shift to a MacBook Pro in 2013, the iconic Mid-2012 model. Over the years I beefed up the RAM, added an SSD, and never had a hiccup. It became another loss in 2020 when the battery finally died (interestingly enough, with under 200 cycles). The choice was easy, a new MBP. Optioned it out to last another 8yr since these new ones are not upgradeable. Its fast and efficient with the battery, boots up in under 30 seconds, the keyboard is awesome (a complaint I have read about the previous generation), Touch Bar is super useful. I am really happy with this machine.

I had been using a 2015 MacBook Air since 2015 and it still works wonderfully, though it was starting to get a tiny bit slow. I also left it in a hot car which did not do wonders to the battery life, so I decided to upgrade. I went with the MacBook Pro and this computer is lighting fast! The speakers sound great. I love the new touch ID. The touch bar is an interesting feature that has it's pros and cons. It's nice to have a couple of the features it provides, but it would also be nice to have some of the dedicated function keys that you have to do without due to the bar. Overall, I highly recommend this computer!

I’ve had it for about a month and so far I love it. It’s fast, the Touch Bar is cool, and it does everything I need it to. Dislikes: I can’t find a case for it yet (came out in May with slightly thicker bottom half and I can’t find a hard shell case that will snap fully on). Also, does sometimes run warm.

Highly capable and future-proofed laptop for those who want to stay in the Mac / Apple ecosystem. Smaller and lighter than my 2010 MacBook Pro which it replaced - and I expect it to last just as long. Considered a MacBook Air, but this model seems more robust for speed and not overheating.

I love my new Mac! I am OBSESSED with the Touch Bar. It’s so much lighter than my last MacBook Pro but the same 13 inches which is the perfect size in my opinion. I am so happy with this upgrade and the guys at Best Buy were so helpful and knowledgeable about everything!

Love love my new MacBook Pro. The Mac product I had in the past was a MacBook Air which was a very nice computer however LOVE the MacBook Pro. It has just the extra something. Would recommend this computer to anyone. If anyone has suggestions for a case I haven't picked on yet. however; know you have to make sure to get the 2020 model. The size and weight is so light. I know the air is lighter but I don't notice the difference. I have had a shoulder replacement so picky about weight. Would recommend this to day. And it rocks ! I do use office 365 and runs fantastic on the Mac as it said it would. Just FYI it does have 4 c ports so would recommend at least one adaptor if you have any cd's or usb you need to transfer information with.

Great laptop. 1Tb SSD with 16GB ram. Does everything I need it to do from work to minor (in my case) editing of videos and pictures. Shouldn’t have to worry about running out of memory for a long time. Perfect size and battery life for on the go types.

I love my MacBook! I've upgraded 3 times over the years and I'm so pleased with how fast and well this one performs. I specifically wanted the 16gb ram and 1 TB SSD because I plan to be in college until I receive my doctorate degree and I wanted something fast and reliable. All of my other MacBook's still work as well, so they definitely last long.

I returned the base model of this years 13" MBP to get this one. Little backstory; I haven't used a Mac in over a decade. Last time I used one was in Highschool, iBook G4 running OS X. Not bad devices, they ran fine for what they were at the time. Now I have primarily been a windows user my whole life, but I am comfortable in linux and can get by in a terminal window if I need to. I've had pretty bad experiences with Apple as company in the past and really have had poor views on their model of business. I have to apologize a bit about ragging on the OS itself in the past, and give them some applause on recent additions to their mobile OS as well, as a lot of the reasons I despised it have had things added that for the most part fix my personal issues. The build Quality feels very premium, the new 'magic keyboard with touch bar' is surprisingly a nice experience, the touch bar as well is an interesting additional way to interact with the computer and in some cases can be quite the time saver, even if it really is only saving you a few seconds here and there. Once you get used to it anyway. It's a great laptop, a little expensive, but enjoyable to use. If your new to Mac like I am, get ready for dongle hell though if you want to use old accessories, because you are going to need either a thunderbolt 3 dock or at least USB C to A adaptors for everything lol. Having 4 Thunderbolt 3 ports is great though, and the fact that it can connect to a 6k display is crazy, despite the fact that I will never pay 6K for a single monitor. In the end, I bought this because I needed a laptop I could do work on, and decided instead of getting another windows machine where my whole library of games would comfortably come and distract me, I would go MacOS where 90% of those games can't follow me without me going out of my way to setup bootcamp. If you can afford it, and you don't absolutely need windows as your primary OS, it's not a bad experience over here on the darkside. As someone who normally pokes fun at apple users, understand that this is high praise, and that the experience was that enjoyable for me to go out of my way to say such good things about this device.

Bought to replace my MacBook Pro from 2010. Holy cow it’s fast and so much lighter. I read complaints about it getting hot. Mine does not get hot at all. Hopefully it lasts as long as my last one. I will be a happy camper

Fast, stable, user-friendly. Touch ID makes authentication easy. Excellent graphics. I run this machine 12+ hours/day with most of the Office suite and at least 2 Adobe apps open at all times. Always keeps up. Love.
