Simple operation, making video, convenient for office

As a college student, I've had an amazing time with this laptop so far. The macbook is pretty light, and the battery last me almost a full day with heavy usage. I've always been cynical of the touch bar but I've begun to enjoy using it once in a while. The butterfly keyboard is a pain to get used to initially but really not that bad once you get used to it. Other than the obvious absurd price point, the laptop is amazing if you get a good deal!

I’m a windows user and thought to give a try on Mac with this Machine. It’s super cool with the hardware and the os features and design. I do have 15 inch MacBook Pro 2018 with Touch Bar ( my office laptop) but I would prefer this 13 inch for the compact size and easy usability. Only problem is with the design is the ports you have to get accessory to connect the usb, SD or HDMI, I’m not a frequent user of external connector, so it’s good for me.

I was looking for a powerful machine that doesn't slow down while editing pics or multitasking, primarily I was looking for xps or macbook pro without touch bar, but I always found bad reviews for xps when benchmarking with macpro, Finally I decided to go with macbook pro and I am really satisfied with this machine, the sleek and powerful, easy to learn for a newbie to macos, though I have an xtra keyboard cover installed because of recent issues with some 2017 models (for precaution). Enjoying my purchase so far, lets see how it goes further

I used to be more of a PC person, but I am firmly in the Mac camp now. Mac OS is much more intuitive than Windows and your Apple account links easily across devices. The computer itself is great. It has all of the processing power that I need. The Touch Bar is a cool gimmick, but is not the most functional part of the device. My only complaint is that I wish the SSD was larger. While that is an option, that storage format is still quite expensive.

Great machine that does everything but make coffee. The Touch Bar is a slick addition. The keyboard is much improved over previous models.

I can play dota 2 and no issues. Keyboard got wet once but is doing okay still

I had an old 2009-2010 MacBook Pro 17" which kicked the bucket a year ago (obsolete video card died and couldn't be replaced). After waiting a year to see if Apple would possibly replace the USB ports or keyboard from their new models, I gave up waiting and bought this using a birthday 10% coupon. Couldn't pass up saving $200 on a MBP, even if it's not perfect. After a few weeks of use, I'm getting used to the new Butterfly keyboard (it did feel better than the previous year's model) and the Touch Bar is neat but kind of pointless. I had to buy a lot of new cables to try to hook up my old hard drive and phone but I'm mostly happy with this purchase. I'm happy to have a Mac back instead of using my wife's old Windows laptop. I'm still trying to get used to the Trackpad's haptic feedback. Only way for this to be 5* would be for the old keyboard and more ports (and an optical drive) but it seems Apple (and most other companies) are abandoning these ideas to make the laptops a few millimeters thinner...

glad I got the 16GB instead of 8GB since momory runs out quick if you're using google suite

Works excellent, apple product no doubt on quality. only thing is it won't support accessories and it take while to get it worked or use only apple accessories.
