This is my third Macbook Pro and the first that I bought brand new. The graphics are great, the sound is mind bogglingly amazing. I can't figure out how they get it to sound so incredible. It's fast no matter what you are doing or how many things you have open. I didn't really think much of the interactive button bar when I looked at it in the Apple store before covid hit, but I am actually really enjoying it as a feature. It is a lot more intuitive than I imagined. It's also nice having Siri on something other than a phone. The fingerprint reader is also a welcome feature as I find it annoying to always need to put in a password. Now, this is not a perfect laptop and I went into buying it with already having known that since I did shop them recently at the Apple store, as I said. What I am slightly annoyed about is the fact that there are only 2 lightning USB C ports and nothing else. No traditional USB 2 or 3 ports, no memory card reader. Being that this is supposed to be a pro model and people who use a computer for 'pro things' as I do really miss the memory card reader as equipment still uses that as a medium. The other part of the lighting only ports is that one of them must be taken up by the power cord and that can be annoying or challenging when you are working and you need to charge up AND use 2 ports. I'll give you an example: when editing a video and adding footage from a camera, and needing to do voiceovers using an external cardioid microphone, you NEED two ports for that so you cant plug in and charge while working on a video. Also, the cord for plugging in a microphone is traditionally either USB or as in my case, a 3.5 mm jack so a 3.5 mm to USB-C adapter is necessary because there is no microphone port on this macbook pro either. I also had to get a separate memory card reader to USB-C for that. Yes, I am aware there are multi port all in one adapters out there, but the one I bought did not work with my macbook pro and I have heard other people say that about after market product peripherals for Apple products before, so it doesn't surprise me that the one I bought doesn't work. Also, since they are able to get so many things right with this new Pro, I was somewhat dismayed that the built in camera was a step down. The image is frequently grainy even in good light conditions and to me, that is just not acceptable when you are paying $1,400 for a computer. If I had to rely on the camera more often, that would have been a deal breaker for me, but I have a new professional camcorder I use for the majority of things I need a camera for. I also still use an MP3 player (yes I know few people still use them, but I prefer it over streaming as streaming doesn't always offer me the choices I want and I refuse to pay for a monthly subscription to listen to music if I can't get everything I want or don't always have access to a signal when traveling underground on the subway) and with a need to plug that in as well, had to get a new adapter to fit that too, because for some reason, even though it is bluetooth, the bluetooth isn't working as I already am connected with my printer and my mouse (yes, I hate trackpads too) so I think either the bluetooth can't handle 3 things or the bluetooth on the player isn't compatible with the version on the mac. This is an excellent computer overall, but Apple needs to recognize that the things a pro uses a Macbook Pro for are seriously lacking on this new model. One thing is certain: next time around, if the things I need in a computer are missing from the next Macbook Pro I will want to buy, I won't buy a new one, I will go back to used and save a lot of money, because without those features, this really isn't the value it could be, especially with having to buy extra adapters. If this weren't an Apple product known for it's reliability and longevity, I might have given this pro 3 stars but there ARE reasons to love it, even with it's lack of ports for its' high price tag.

Must buy! Simple & elegant. I love this laptop. It is user friendly. The battery life is very convenient for when you are on the go and won’t have anywhere to charge it. This computer works best for my work field because I can have many tabs open and it does not affect the speed of usage. Also, I love the Touch Bar. It comes in handy when you’re typing (it provides shortcuts) easy to use and looks amazing as well

I just needed a laptop for doing my genealogy research and this has been perfect so far. It is fast, has the perfect storage and is lightweight to take on the go. I love the touch-bar and large touch pad. The only thing I have trouble with is remembering to use the command key instead of control for keyboard shortcuts but that is my issue, not the products.

The performance, speed, and graphics are great - just what you would expect from an Apple product. The touch bar is actually pretty handy, but nothing special. Now the touch ID login is terrific. The biggest issue is that there are no traditional USB ports, so one must purchase an additional adapter because everything is now thunderbolt/USB-C. Overall, it's still a great product, and the look, feel, and weight is incredible.

This computer is lightweight and compact. The 13' screen is adequate for almost anything. When I first got it I was disappointed by the small size of fonts but after going to the settings for display I was able to select a screen resolution that made the font size perfect for me. The solid state drive makes this computer hum. I would have like more than 8GB desktop memory though. One of the best features is fingerprint recognition. With that you can open the computer and many password protected apps with just the touch of your finger. Speaking of touch, the taskbar is very useful making available one touch commands that are useful in whatever app you are using. This is a computer you will love.

This is the very first laptop I’ve purchased with my own money, and I am honestly very satisfied. I’ve always had HP laptops, and I’m used to their formatting with the internet displays/keys on the screen. So I’m still getting used to the Mac Book Version. I think it is super fast and it really is small, sleek and portable. I bought this laptop to use for veterinary school when I get accepted (hopefully soon) so that I may use it for the four years in graduate school. So far I haven’t used it too much, but I’m not disappointed with my purchase. I would highly recommend it to anyone!

This is my VERY FIRST laptop and I've been very happy to use this MacBook Pro laptop, which i'm an apple addict, this item adds to all the other apple products that I own. The laptop would last me for a pretty long time, about over 10 years and I cherish this item ever since day 1 when I got this laptop. Curbside pickup was excellent to order and pickup the item, especially since i'm doing my learning remotely, which makes it much easier and it's PORTABLE, which I can carry it to anywhere I decide to do work from. I got the 512GB one because I needed additional storage. So overall, an AMAZING laptop.

Never owned an Apple product before. 25 yrs old and a lifetime PC user. I gotta say, this thing holds a charge and fires up fast. I'm a screenwriter and CELTX drains the freaking battery faster than anything. But that's ok. Pretty easy to learn the thing. I certainly don't dread using my computer anymore.

This is the laptop I have been waiting for. All of the features work the way I hoped they would. It is lightweight and very portable for taking back and forth to school. The Touch Bar is just another added convenience that I love. MacBook Pro never lets you down.

I bought this for my wife and i'm very pleased on how the performance is on this laptop. The battery life is way better than her old one. It's gone a long way and it's much snappier and light compared to the other ones.

This laptop is perfect for travel & work. The newly configured C-output port makes this Macbook Pro just as thin as the Macbook Air. Sufficient amount of memory & storage & operates quick & easy.

bought it for our granddaughter who was going away to collage and she just loves it because it has lots of storage and it's fast. the MacBook air is a great machine for a portable laptop.

Tons of upgrades on this model. Most impressed with battery life without sacrificing performance. Gets me through a full day on a single charge. Touch Bar makes multitasking even easier.

I love this computer. Apple has always made a beautiful product but the new MacBook Pro is exceptional. Not only is it good looking but the features are amazing. Starts faster, connectivity and computing are faster and the Touch Bar functionality is really cool. Great deal via one of the Apple Sale events at Best Buy. I wasn’t sure how I would feel about the fact that there are no USB connections (you have to buy an adapter) but there are some very nice third party products available. With the holiday sales I was able to find one that matches my Mac for about $15 so I can’t complain.

I had to change my old MacBook, this 13" is great to work with, easy and light to carry, love the Touch Bar, I got it on special compared to the price on the apple store
