I upgraded from a 2019 MacBook Pro. Mine was still chugging along just fine but the idea of tariffs made me nervous so I just gave in and ordered this one. I did order the open-box excellent one and it arrived in perfect condition. Even though I thought my computer was fine, I’m so glad I upgraded to this MacBook Pro. It is so fast. It does not have the overheating and fan issues my old computer had. And the battery life blows my mind. Even though my old computer was a 15.4” and this is 14”, the size difference does not bother me as much as I expected it to. I do also have external monitors if I feel like I need more space. And even when connected to the external monitor, there are no issues with overheating. The weight feels not significantly different than my older larger MBP? But this new one feels more solidly built. And I’m sure the battery accounts for some of the weight. Overall I’m extremely happy with my purchase. Huge upgrade all around for me. And I’m glad I got to save a few dollars with the open-box sale. Same great computer with a little better price.
