Just what I wanted. The last one was purchased in 2004. I never had a problem with until my battery started to expand. The new one is so much better, lighter and much faster!

I made the switch to Macs in 2006 and never looked back. Is it a high initial cost? Yes. Is it worth it? If you value quality and having it out last similarly configured Wintel boxes, yes. My first MacBook lasted 6 years before giving it to my girlfriend so I could buy a high powered one in 2012. I ended up dropping it while transporting it between locations and instead of replacing the screen decided to buy this one. The screen is crisp, touch bar is great and have customized it which was nice. Even with OS upgrades this thing runs so smoothly and as fast as it did when I bought it in early 2018.

This computer is everything I thought and hoped it would be. Its screen, battery and performance is top notch. It is pricey but its completely worth it for what you get.

I love my Mac Pro. The touch bar is very helpful. I am a student and I don't know what I would do without this computer.

very happy with the product and speed. just be aware of the new USB C only ports. if you are replacing an older model you with probably have to buy some adapters.

Excellent machine for editing videos, running in design and other creative programs. Battery life is excellent. Only hard part is getting used to the USB adapter

This is my second MacBook Pro and I love the upgrades to it. Its lighter, has a great, large screen. I definitely expect to hang on to this one for a long time.

I had my doubts about the macbook with touch bar since it was missing all the ports I need but I do videography and photography for weddings and needed an upgrade from my 7 year old macbook pro. The performance is great and just needed to buy an adapter for the ports but everything is working perfectly

Great computer. It's a major step up from my usual cheap PC Laptops I usually purchase. I'm doing photo and, up to, 4k video editing while traveling. This fits the bill. Very slim. I've never had anything Apple before but after watching a few tutorials online it's been an easy trasition from PC. I love the touch bar. The touch pad is probably my favorite part though. Effortless touch gets the job done. Gestures are great. Only had it for a month and happy so far. I might just be a Mac guy now... I guess I am a Mac guy now. Not upset. Quality is obvious. speed of system is unreal. Rendering is instant. I really couldn't be happier with it. Yes it was pricey, yes I could do without the touch bar but if you have a little extra to spend then this wont dissapoint.

Easy to use. It has a nice keyboard. The touch bar is nice. All my files easily transferred from my old iMac.

Owned many MBP, this one is to notch, but a bit pricey when you compare the same spec Windows laptop which runs about $1000 cheaper. I’m finding the touchbar to be surprisingly useful. Especially the touchID. Not a fan of the keyboard touch. Much prefer the feel of the older MBPs.

I love the new features on the MacBook Pro. The scrub bar makes it easy to do things at a touch instead of a click! It’s a very fast processor, too.

Such an upgrade to my last MacBook. So much lighter, faster and the buttons at the top with the fingerprint ID work great. I love my new purchase!

This laptop is a better version of all the previous generations, touchbar is pretty useful and easy to get used to, its much faster with 16 GB ram, can extend the harddisk size from 512MB to 1TB or 2TB with +400$ so we have options to upgrade the harddisk size, only negative thing is i miss using having usb ports and an easy way to put my SD cards into the computer.

The new multi-function Touch Bar is awesome. This a lightning-fast laptop is perfect for video editing.

The computer is lightweight and superfast I got the computer with the extra memory and I have no problem downloading or uploading anything

Definitely a good laptop.. lil expensive but really worth it..its good for work or school,a necessary tool for all your productions needs..

I got this computer as an update for my 2012 macbook pro. This new version is SO light and slim and very fast compared to my original. I am loving the finger print sign in. I also really like the search bar and how for pictures it scrolls through with thumbnails along the bar. The mouse pad is huge! I don't care for the new ports and having to buy an extra converter port for all of my connections. I can't even connect my iphone without a converter. Other than the converter issue, I'm in love.

I’m coming from 2013 MacBook Pro retina, which still works fine however there were some issues with the laptop and because I do video editing was looking for a faster pc. This one fits the bill, even though you can get the similarly SPECT Windows PC for about $1000 less it is the software and usability you are paying for along with the name. On sale this definitely becomes a much better bang for your buck. The Touch Bar is actually much more useful than I had first thought. And will hopefully become even more so with the new OS update.
