I am a fan of MAC products and this was the first time that I actually purchased a refurbished MAC product! Mind you that the product performs as I would expect but when the product was refurbished, the memory evidently was not completed erased because there are some applications that it will not allow me to update because the previous owner is still being captured in the memory as the original administrator and the Best Buy representative that I spoke with at the store that I purchased it had no knowledge of how MACs operate or recommendations as to how I could get this situation remedied other than to take it to a MAC store, which to me was not an acceptable response since the product was sold to me by them.

I bought this laptop back in April of this year and it's been great! Haven't had any issues with it, Best Buy set it up for me at store and I was good to go within 5 minutes. Laptop has several apps installed, runs good and functions really well. And the price was just perfect to top it off!

I gave this item 3 stars because, it was in mint condition for its age. Which is why I returned it. As I couldn’t see paying what I paid for a seven year old MacBook Pro.

When I purchased this laptop, I had been told that it was available for pick up from the store. When I got to the store it was actually not there. I was told that it was being shipped from a warehouse,perhaps that is something that needs to be told in notes at purchase. Second, the software is so out of date that I spent 8 plus hours updating it at the local mall because it was so out of date that I needed to make an appointment at the Genius Bar at apple.. then The Battery doesn’t hold a change at all.., you charge it, it dies hours later. There is no reason for it to be doing this. Turns out (Thanks to Genius Bar) that the Battery is bad. This is the same Battery that the Computer was sold with!!! I am not happy that I need to purchase a new Battery! Is that not part of the refurbishment to replace anything that is not working?? I am not pleased with this!!

My concern was I couldn't do what I wanted on this computer because it had older apps on it and so I was unable to really use it for my purposes. I returned and bought a brand new apple and it has all updated apps that have given me no trouble at all. (i.e. banking was outdated, and so was Skype) Could not get these two apps to download more current apps .

This is something my daughter really wanted and you had it available for her and for that I’m grateful at a very reasonable price it has all the qualities of a computer that she wanted. Thanks for having the one item she requested for Christmas

The product is in great cosnetic condition but my mac books got some technical issues it seens slow! But ill figure that out! Overall def got my monies worth!!!

A little skeptical buying a refurbished laptop however this one is great. No issues out of the box, up and running within a few minutes, would recommend to anyone needing a reasonable device that you can still upgrade if needed.

This product was terrible! Bought this product and it didn’t even work! The laptop didn’t even power on ! I had to repack it and bring it back to the store where they tried to fix it for five minutes only to say no it’s broken and have to return it for a refund when this was a Christmas gift what abfreaking disappointment and a joke horrible horrible experience

Was leery at first about buying a refurbished computer, but this Mac Book meets our needs. Works well. We just had to call Apple Support to update the software.

I call it Heavy Duty Judy! Its sooo heavy and bulky.

Bought one for wife who has always wanted a mac book. Opened for xmas this year, took it to best buy to start it, learn about it... turned on, but keyboard never worked at all. Computer is DOA. Now I have to go find another. Extremely mad at best buy they don't test their refurnished products before selling them. !!!!!!!!! Ruined her xmas!!!

came with literally no scratches and in perfect condition! super easy to set up.

When i ordered this i asked how old the lap top was. I was told by the agent that it was a 2017. So i figured that two years old, i can still access all I need too. When i got it, and realized i couldnt even download Google Chrome, because the software wasn' sufficient...I did some research. This computer is from 2011, you can't do anything with it except use it for Safari, and that doesnt work half the time. I was told wrong information when i purchased it and by the time i figured out what i was really sold. I tried to return it, but it was past the return policy. WORST PURCHASE EVER

Laptop literally was new couldn't tell it was refurbished! Great buy!

I was leery of buying a used Mac online, but with the ability to return it if I didn’t like it I took a chance. This is the third Mac I have owned and I’ve never been disappointed. Thanks Best Buy
