I’ve owned several MacBook Pros, but none come close to this one. It’s fairly light and very powerful. The only negative is price.

It all started when i wanted to get my life going, I finally saved up enough money to get that video editing machine I've always wanted, and the one I ultimately needed was approximately 2,300 bucks after tax. Not everyone can, and especially in this country from a poor background, and bad credit can get their hands on one of these usually. I was very blessed. I was able to starve in some areas in order to make the sacrifice I needed to get on my feet to get one of these, and that definitely leaves me far from getting out of the poor house. In order for me to be ok with buying something this expensive I had to have at least double the price in my savings before making such a sacrifice, a guy like me doesn't have anyone he can turn to for money if something happens, so keeping a couple grand for emergencies is very ideal. I've been using it everyday lately and getting tasks, applying to new work, dj pro, final cut pro x is all a dream, while being able to do some intense gaming on the side! It's a dream machine, and could not imagine a life without having it, and being absolutely proficient when needed to stay organized.

I love my new Macbook Pro 16" with the touch bar. I thought the touch bar wouldn't really be that necessary, but I have enjoyed how intuitive it is and how it changes depending on the needs of what I"m doing. It is very functional and easy to use. The computer is streamlined and very easy to use. Of course very well built since it's a mac. The last Macbook I had for 7 or 8 years. It was a work horse. I hope to see the same longevity with this one.

This is a fantastic macbook pro upgrade for me. I love the new touch bar and touch id which just makes it simple and intuitive to use. As well the the new display is just incredible making the use of this new pro that much more enjoyable. I am also impressed with the Radeon Pro 5300m graphics I feel like the macbook is so much more responsive than my old one. The apple experience is just fantastic. I loved my old one and this one just hit it right out of the park!

I've been a Mac user for just over 5 years now and I've decided I can't go back to PC. This MacBook, particularly, has everything I love in a computer: large sized screen, slim laptop, great speakers, huge track pad. I have ZERO complaints for what I use it for. I guess the only downfall here is that they are on the pricier side of laptops and probably not the best choice for programmers (unless this is your secondary). Otherwise, why wouldn't you choose this as your next laptop!?

Great all-around laptop. Desktop replacement if I may say so. 16" screen is adequate for most work, but you can always drive a larger 4k monitor/TV with ease thanks to the Radeon GPU. Final Cut Pro X runs so smooth and outputting to h264 using QuickSync is extremely fast. I'm sure Apple Silicon will outperform this, but at the the time this was the only 16" option available. The screen is amazing, by the way.

I've been a lifelong Windows laptop/workstation user, but I needed a laptop as I was heading into college. Apple is making strides with their custom M1 chips, but this is still one of the best computers on the market. This is the last 16-inch Intel Mac (?) Apple's making, so if you need to be able to solidly run Bootcamp ASAP, this is a wonderful choice. A good-looking machine that performs well. A little pricey though for the specs, but that's the Apple tax.

The laptop is beautiful and powerful. Expensive but worth it as I hope it will last me quite a few years before I need an update. But I was really surprised to found out later that Best Buy no longer gives any rewards points for Apple purchases. I was hoping this would keep my status and the advantages like free shipping and extended returns. I will definitely look for a better deal as the rewards is a driver for my purchases at Best Buy. Big disappointment and big surprise.

I have now had my MacBook Pro for about 3 years. I use it everyday for work and it has been amazing. I had never used a Mac. I always had HP. I will never go back to HP for my work computer.

It's a little bit pricy compared to other laptops of the same category and with the same features, but it's very quiet and fast. Works great for professional users.

I was skeptical of paying so much for this laptop.Apple does not come cheap,,but it is Fast !!!I was not crazy about only having the 4 thunderbolt USB`s without other types.Sometimes the thunderbolt some thunderbolt hubs have compatibly issues ,with other hardware n software. .

This thing is amazing! The speakers are phenomenal as well as the screen. I am most impressed with how fast this thing is. I was skeptical about getting the base model due to the type of editing and work I do. Well, Apple didn't skimp with this one! I am extremely satisfied! I have even compared this MBP16 with a co-workers partially loaded MBP16 and it was probably a second or two slower when doing large files and editing. I am so happy I picked this model!

Bought this laptop for my college bound daughter who is a Digital Arts major. We have been an Apple family for a long time now. We love the integration between our Macs, iPhones, iPads, and other home devices. The MacBook seems very durable and is incredible fast. The 16 inch screen is large enough to do a variety of types of work, but isn't too big to feel portable.

This is my first Mac since the old Powerbook series. the keyboard feels great and the Touch Bar is an excellent addition. Touch ID works great and the Screen makes everything look very nice. Im not usually one to get into Apple products but this computer is making me consider more from Apple. the tour gestures and extra desktops are a great tool for productivity.
