The 737 MAX of computers

I purchased a brand-new MacBook Pro 16 end of Dec 2019. I needed a workhorse that was powerful, fast, and reliable.
Well, within a couple days I noticed it had a defective touch sensor, as it wouldn't even register that my finger was touching it sometimes.
Thankfully, I was given a brand-new computer. Unfortunately, about 3 months in I started getting a message that this new computer was restarting because there was a problem.
I read online that it could be software, etc. To be safe I deleted all software and reinstalled. The problem persisted.
I contacted Apple support. We wiped the computer and tried reinstalling the OS multiple times, but it failed each time. Apple support stated that it appeared to be a logic board or other hardware issue.
So I've spent $3,500 on an Apple product that had two defective models right out of the box. While I am getting it fixed under warranty, I'm now out of a computer and quite frankly, this is unacceptable on a $3,500 computer, let alone a $1,000 one.
Sadly, Apple's quality control has been on a downward spiral. The new MacBook Pro is like the 737 MAX of computers — lots of flash but rushed out the door with subpar quality and a few fatal flaws.
Apple, please let us know when you would like to be Apple again. Because right now you might as well be HP or Microsoft.
