This works well for my photography needs with editing. The speed and color accuracy make my work flow much quicker. I don't know why I waited so long. Actually I do. The Macbook is expensive, but it's worth the money.

If you are like me and thinking about ditching Microsoft, I highly recommend you do. It takes a little adjustment but it sure is nice to have a computer that's fast and simply just works all the time!

Love the macbook and the screen is very nice to use. The keyboard feels high quality, The screen looks great for movies and such but not really color accurate for photographers or video editing..It seems snappy when doing light tasks but when you step it up to lengthy video editing projects thats when things start to show the weakness in the gpu vs a 4060 or 4070 laptop and thats where I need the color accuracy so unfortunately its going back and I am going with an Asus pro art 16 with the 4070 gpu and OLED display with true color accuracy maybe in 2026! Apple is still lacking in the availability of software you get on a windows machine

This was a great buy for me , performance is much better than my previous laptop speed is better, battery life is great storage is excellent. I was expecting to pay a lot more than i did.

I have been extremely pleased with my new MacBook Pro. Solid State hard drive, terabyte storage; what's not to like?!

Upgraded my old 16” MacBook Pro (2019 model) that was running on Intel Core I9 and bought the 16” MacBook Pro (2024 model) running on Apple Max4. My old computer was good, but there is no comparison between the two; so far, I really like this new one. This is my third Apple computer and I’ve always gotten good service from them. I won’t go back to MicroSoft based products; keep up the good work Apple!

As a researcher, this macbook has been a major help. I uograded to the M4 Max from the M1 Pro and i couldn’t be happier. The RAM and speed bump have allowed me to do computationally strenuous tasks that the M1 Pro struggled to do.

Love this computer so much, worth every penny, handles everything I throw at it like nothing.

Started with an M4 Pro and the lack of triple 4K monitor support (even with a caldigit dock) forced me to open my wallet and get the M4 Max. Zero regrets - the M4 pro was a great system and without seeing the M4 Max put it to shame I wouldn’t have been the wiser. Glad they make such awesome systems and Best Buy’s great pricing and total tech membership for free Apple care!

Upgraded from a Mac book pro m2 pro and couldn’t be happier with performance. Day to day activities like web browsing, email, YouTube all seem about the same but where the m4 max shines is the rendering and being able to handle multiple apps open at once. I’m very bad about closing applications. I have applications open all the time like fusion 360, light room, photoshop, illustrator, Final Cut Pro, just to name a few and this laptop doesn’t break a sweat. Very happy I upgraded and look forward to getting some great use out of this thing for years to come.

Incredible machine. Set up is simple when transferring data from another Mac. Battery life is excellent even when using several large programs and apps. I am thrilled I can use IDEs, several chrome windows, Lightroom, photoshop, all at the same time if I needed to and it wouldn’t even hesitate.

Computer was like Brand New, its been a big upgrade from our previous set up. The sales person gave us a great rundown of what the computer was capable of and its helping us a lot.

High performance computer, easy setup and start up, large screen, thin, I’m traveling a lot editing videos and I love it’s great colors and it is easy to carry around
