I just got the new MacBook Pro 16-inch M4 Max, and it’s incredibly fast and smooth. The performance is top-tier. Apps launch instantly, and multitasking is effortless. The Liquid Retina XDR display is stunning, and the battery life lasts impressively long for such a powerful machine. The keyboard, trackpad, and build quality are excellent, and it looks sleek in Space Black. This is easily one of the best laptops I’ve ever used, perfect for work, creativity, and everyday use.

Excellent powerful machine or rather say beast.. Updated to this base M4 Max 16” 48gb 1tb on Black Friday for my old Intel i9 based 2018 MacBook Pro 15”... What an update, mind blowing! The fans use to spin up a lot with work load’s especially on my old intel based MacBook Pro but this M4 Max with like 50 chrome tabs and another 50 safari tabs open + heavy applications like Docker desktop, IntelliJ, GitHub Desktop (I’m a programmer/software developer) & many other applications (like mail app, music app, heavy user of Apple Notes App and many more apps) running barely spins the fans and Memory Pressure is bare minimum.. Just superb & amazing to see and work/code on it! For programmers this is a fantastic machine or rather say beast! Wouldn’t need another Mac for like easy 5+ years…. Worth every penny! Battery also is excellent, will easily last 1.5 to 2 full days once 100% charged for all your daily activities & even heavy coding…Also watching movies on this 120Hz pro motion display is phenomenal! If you are a Best Buy member, will get excellent discounts price for members & early Black Friday Deals.. Wait for the right time & Just go for it!

As a professional DJ, I rely heavily on my gear—and the MacBook Pro 16” with the M4 Max chip has taken my setup to the next level. This machine is an absolute beast. I use it for everything from building out my Serato and Rekordbox libraries to running live performances with multiple controllers and effects racks, and it handles it all without breaking a sweat. The speed is insane. Track loading, effects processing, and sample triggering are instant. There’s zero lag, even when I’m running visuals alongside my sets. The M4 Max chip handles it effortlessly. One of the biggest wins for me is reliability during live shows. I’ve used it in high-pressure environments—festivals, clubs, and long sets—and it’s rock solid. No crashes, no overheating, just smooth performance every time. Plus, the battery life is wild. I can go through long rehearsals and even shows without having to plug in. The display is gorgeous too. When I’m producing or editing visuals for my sets, the color accuracy and brightness make a big difference. And let’s not forget the ports—I love that I can connect USB-C, HDMI, and SD cards without needing a bunch of dongles. I upgraded from the 14" Pro Max M2 because I'm now doing cross-platform software development and I wanted the bigger screen, even though I travel a lot. I can develop and can test my stuff in native MacOS, and VM Windows and Linux all on the same machine using Parallels. It handles anything I throw at it with incredible speed. As possibly a gauge of the efficiency of this machine, I can leave it plugged in with only an iPad charging block (3A) during long coding sessions, and it will maintain a charge or even charge slowly running native Mac. I figure any incremental performance/efficiency bump I got going from M2 Max to M4 Max would be just gravy. This new MacBook did not disappoint. It's faster, but for my purposes, the screen makes the difference during long coding sessions, at the cost of weight and size. Highly recommended for any purpose unless compactness is a higher priority. This MacBook is substantially bigger and heavier than the 14", but for the power they packed inside, it's remarkably compact and light. Very happy with the purchase and would buy it again. I've briefly tried X-Plane and BG3, and it handles them easily. If you run those, you will need the regular charger, which charges the battery fast under any load.

I’m a software engineer that does a lot of computer work. Historically, I have favored Windows machines for their simplicity and immense ecosystem of third party applications. However, Windows has given me a lot of pain points with instability and at times very strange behavior. My primary Windows desktop unfortunately got destroyed in a mishap and I needed a new machine. I wanted something I wouldn’t have to fiddle with too much and would allow me to work at a quick pace, so I decided to try MacOs. This was possibly one of my best purchase decisions; I am soooooo happy with this machine. Yes, it is not perfect and MacOs has a few strange quirks, but overall my experience has had very little friction. When I purchased it, I wasn’t sure if I would keep it or go back to Windows. After a week of use, my mind was made up; I am not giving up this MacBook for anything. Some quick notes: - Batter life: Incredible, best I’ve ever experience on a laptop - Performance: Fast and smooth as butter - Display: Wonderful and surprisingly good in sunny environments

How can any serious user go wrong with the stellar performance and specs of this creme-de-la-creme technological marvel that packs a wallop, providing portability to boot! I have been stuck on PC and iMac desktops for years. With the M4 chip and more RAM than I will ever need, there's no going back now.

A great laptop for work or play. The laptop is is fast and powerful with plenty of storage. My first time working with AI. Very pleased with this computer. Great for working with my photos and Capture One. The battery last for an extremely long time. With I TB SSD there is more than enough storage.

I really love my new Mac laptop. The speed is great. The resolution is great. The battery life seems to be really great. I would recommend this product to anybody looking for a decent up-to-date laptop computer.

At first glance, it looks like any other MacBook Pro—but don’t be fooled. This machine is an absolute beast for development work. I’ve thrown heavy workloads at it, running 10 different tests across 10 independent simulators, and it hasn’t flinched once. Performance-wise, I feel like I’ve only scratched the surface of what this computer can really do.

Excellent experience buying this at a Best Buy store. Very helpful and professional sales associate. This 16" M4 Max Monster is perfect! I edit 4K video with effects and it has blazed through each project with ease. I'm used to the older 17" MacBook Pros and this one is super light in comparison. I love this tech tool!!!

I like my new MacBook. Now I work with pleasure. It is very fast and my programs work easily. For video editing it is the best choice.

Amazing product. I just switched back to Mac from 10+ years with a PC and I'm glad I did. It's powerful, light, has a beautiful display, and integrates with all my other apple products flawlessly. I did initially purchase the same computer with 36GB RAM but would definitely recommend at least the 48GB version for graphics work. The Apple Tax for storage is abysmal though... would definitely get an external SSD because 1TB doesn't go far these days.

Came in excellent condition, flawless and exactly as described. The setup was smooth, performance is incredibly fast, and the Space Black finish looks stunning. Couldn’t be happier with this MacBook Pro.

Absolutely incredible machine, extremely capable and able to complete any task you throw at it without batting an eye. All day battery life but has the horsepower needed when the task calls for it.

Been a learning curve switching to apple but very high performance computer. Maybe one day I will learn how to use all of the functions!

Way faster than my m1 max with more ram. M4 series is the new best thing ever. You won't regret it.
