Q: what's the battery life on this MacBook
A: It's excellent. I have not run this to the point of draining the battery entirely, but I have used it for three hours straight without an issue (unplugged).
A: 1/- I didn't pay attention on software pre-installed because the product will be a gift to grandson. 2/- I have no idea. 3/- I think should be the latest released CD/DVD player/burner. Sorry
