So much faster than my old MacBook Pro. The Thunderbolt ports are blazing fast (but make sure your cables and attached devices are up to snuff to get the most out of those transfer rates). I prefer the new keyboard to the one’s Apple made a few years ago.

Super Powerful! Runs power hungry programs like zbrush, adobe premiere, photoshop, maya without any issues at all. Speakers are really good! Solid bass. The screen is crystal clear and crisp! Really amazing laptop coming from windows!

Excellent performance and battery life. Still amazing how much performance the M series has for the power consumption. Unified memory great for running local AI models, and as a bonus the 40 core GPU handles the little gaming I want to do with ease. If your use case is basic content consumption the Max cpu’s are overkill, the base M4 or Pro are more than enough.

I never thought that I would abandon the ibm format computer for a Mac. I have an iPhone and an iPad and they work so well together with the Mac. The 16” M4 16/40 48 1TB Mac is significantly fast and is the ticket for photo processing and video processing. So far so good in my transition. I plan to make some appointments with Best Buy for some tutoring to be able to make this transition as smooth as possible, and for me to be able to be as competent with the Mac platform as possible. Best Buy had this in stock, so there was no wait.

I've been using Macs since 1997 and this is by far the best one yet. As a professional photographer my old 2017 maxed out MacBook Pro was taking too long to process RAW photos, especially with the new AI tools in Photoshop. This computer speeds through the process and has cut my editing time down significantly. The actual conversions from RAW to JPEG handles hundreds of images in less than a minute.
This model is heavier and a little thicker than my 2017 model with a slightly larger screen (15 inch compared to the new 16 inch) but not by much.
The battery life is very impressive as well. Even with a new battery in my 2017 model the most I could get was about 2 hours of use, even less if running Photoshop. I can work almost the whole day now on battery alone while editing and processing hundreds of photos. With basic web browsing, email and other functions it lasts all day and night before needing a charge. Even in sleep mode the battery barely drains, if it drains at all.
All in all, after a month of use I'm pretty impressed and happy with its performance, especially the speed and battery life.

Absolutely fantastic. I upgraded from a 14" MacBook Pro with the M1 Pro CPU (8 CPU 14 GPU version). The new one is about 4 times faster at Adobe LightRoom denoise which is my main motivation to upgrade. The screen is extremely good for professional applications and beautiful in video playback.

This is overall a great computer for what I need it for. Its performance is great, sometimes a little slow on the internet, but i t hink its really only certain sites, perhaps. eith differer way, it has a lot different ports for all differet types of things. It has your charging port on the left side along with 2 type c ports and a headphone or some type of either wired earbuds or idk maybe some kinda sound thing, I am not really sure. The right side has an HDMI port, a type C port, and it has a memory card slot. Perfect for daily work on my NFP things or grants and such. I highly recommend. It is quite a bit heavier than the Macbook air m2 chip which I have had several issues with it. this one seems great so far. Very Happy 100%

Great built quality and excellent performance. I am user of windows based laptop and computer for decades. This time I tried changing to MacBook. Only down side I would say is bit bulky and weigh more. Other than that MacBook is a good choice for professional purposes..

I love my new MacBook Pro! It is a very fast and powerful work horse. I exceeds all of my expectations for a portable audio recording platform - let alone a great laptop in general. I can see this MacBook lasting me for several years!

Review of my MacBook Pro 16-inch
It’s a great computer, but I’ve realized it’s a bit too powerful for me. I don’t really need that much performance — I’m just a student. Another issue is that it’s a bit heavy to carry around. When it’s in my backpack, I can really feel the weight.
I’ve been thinking about switching to an iPad Pro, but then I thought maybe a laptop is still better — maybe a MacBook Air, or perhaps I’ll go back to a 14-inch model. The 16-inch is just too heavy for me. I think I should switch to something lighter.
Otherwise, everything is great. The sound is absolutely amazing — powerful and crystal clear — but again, I don’t really need that much. I’m only learning programming now, just starting out. Maybe later I’ll buy something else. Maybe when a new iPad comes out, I’ll get that.
For now, I think I rushed a bit. A computer that costs almost $4,000 is too much for me. Something around $1,500 would be more than enough.

I recently purchased the MacBook Pro and couldn't be happier. The large display makes a significant difference when working on timelines and multiple windows simultaneously. It delivers excellent performance for video editing and handles the entire Adobe suite smoothly, even with heavier projects.
I don’t use it for gaming, but based on its overall speed and responsiveness, I’m confident it would perform well in that area as well. Another significant advantage is the impressive battery life, which easily lasts through long editing sessions without requiring a charge.
Overall, it’s a robust and dependable machine—highly recommended for creators, students, and professionals.
