Bought this laptop couple month ago for my wife. She love the screen, the keyboard,.. Everything. She use this at home and for work also. Laptop very fast, battery last for almost a working day. I would recommend this laptop for anyone that need a solid, reliable, modern and stylish. And don't forget to buy apple care because this laptop this very expensive to fix.

Like the retina display. Unit is more streamline and lighter than Mac Book Pro without it. As of now the ssytems responds quickly. Very easy to use. My daughter likes it very much. No complaints yet.

would buy again, computer is very light and the display is awesome! I might have to buy another one because my wife takes it a constant.

I love the size of the laptop. I leave it out for easy access and use it several times throughout the day. While I haven't mastered the full potential of the Mac Book Pro, the ease of use is definitely a plus. The images from the Retina display are stunning. I am definitely a fan of Apple products and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I used to have laptop envy. It would take my old PC 2 min to boot up, 4 min to come out of sleep or hibernate (usually because I would have to reboot), required restarts 2 or 3 times a day. Then there was the malware & the drive-by installs & the virus protection, and the constant checking with me when I wanted to do something "are your sure?" "You need to be logged on as an administrator to do that" (BUT I AM). After 3 months of apprehension about dumping the PC & lots of research I was ready. And then I got my MacBookPro and in less than a day I was unbelievably happy having made the switch. Gesture controls alone sped up my work. I hardly restart & when I have to it takes 30 seconds. And coming out of sleep is instant to 10 sec (depending if you just closed the lid). Battery life is amazing. Retina display is amazing. Overall looks are the best out there for a laptop. The my wife ("The Destroyer of Computers") wanted to use my new MacBookPro to make a wedding video on iMovie. Long story short, it was a big hit... She love my MacBookPro so much we now have 2 of the same laptop and she cannot break it. Apple... Thank you... Thank you!

This is my first Macbook and made the jump from PC products to Apple and I am not disappointed. The Mac performs extremely well, has a lot of great features which take a little getting used to once you make the leap, however, the commands just make more sense than PC's. I did prefer to purchase Office for Mac instead of using the Apple versions. I don't foresee myself using PC's for work again.

I made the switch to Mac from PC a few years ago and this is now my second MacBook Pro purchase. I will never go back to PC! Everything from the construction of the laptop, to battery life, to screen resolution is superior in every way. I struggled with which model to purchase but ended up going with a 13" because it really did everything I needed it to do. The only down side is the new models come without a CD Rom, which I would probably only use a few times anyway.

I have to say i am an apple fan and this computer is fantastic! Easy to set up and use. The display is awesome.

Was time to upgrade from my 2009 MacBook, and was looking at both MacBook Pro and Air. Went with the Pro for Retina screen. It's light, fast, and the display is gorgeous. I use it for both business and personal purposes. I have Apple TV and am able to use Airplay to display screen on TV for client meetings.

I was debating to buy between air & pro. I realized pro has much more to offer. It has the amazing display with great performance. I didn't like how much little space it had but using my external drive, I was able to solve that problem.

I was told time and time again to switch to a Mac , and I don't regret it one bit. The Mac Book Pro with Retina display is very fast , has a great display and light enough to carry everyday at work/school. The only complaint I have is that the RAM cannot be upgraded , but the 4GB is working for now.

Received this as a gift from my wife. It was a great surprise since we already had a laptop (PC) for personal use. We are both MAC fans and purchased an IMAC desktop 2 years ago. PC laptop is now in the closet and will be obsolete shortly since it is not being updated with all the Windows updates that are necessary and all the anti-virus updates. This Macbook Pro turns on within seconds and the battery lasts about 9 hours. It is great.

This is a great laptop and easy to carry around. Super light. The display is beautifully clear.

I bought this for college and it works great. I can easily take and find my notes as well as play games, edit photos, make powerpoints, and do everything else I need. Not just that, but it also works well with keeping everything in order on my iphone. Best of all, it is really fast. I was frustrated with my pc because of how slow it turned on and off, but the mac turns on and off in just a few seconds.

I love the clear picture, great battery life, I love apple products! easy to adapt to and use for everything! the only thing I don't like was having to buy a skydrive for CD/DVD other than that I couldn't have made a better choice. fast speed. so worth the money.

Overall a carefully designed super good looking ultra portable laptop, with premium build quality. The retina display is amazing and sound is also great. I didn't like its keyboard, not easy to type. I didn't like mac os - not at all user friendly. Can't even compare with Windows. This laptop is for home use, to watch photos, videos and facebook. The most annoying thing is that, it doesn't work with other standard devices. I just can't write anything to my external hard drive (NTFS). I can't even download a file from my iPhone easily!! I had to install a third party app for that. My bluetooth headphone won't properly work with this laptop. It won't auto connect wifi when wakes up from sleep. This laptop is a 'closed" device with limited use, but I still like it because of its stunning display, sound, design, portability and looks. Got everything for a home use.

It's a perfect buy for anyone! Easy to use and light weight! Best Mac yet!

My daughter received this MacBook as a Christmas gift & so far she loves it. It's the perfect size & weight for easy portability & the retina display gives a super sharp image on the screen.

A great computer with good programs, the latest technology and very fast. It looks great, the battery lasts very long and it's light. Definitely one of the best products on the market.

Little Pricy but worth it. Display is good. Performance is excellent.
