I purchased this laptop for my daughter going to college. It is all that she needs it to be and more. It allows for the programs and online activities with no problems. The speed it great and the picture is beautiful.

This is my first Mac and I am very happy with this purchase. The computer is fast and does not have the lag that my old pc had. Everything syncs up nice, but I do wish these machines came with more storage. I am using an external hard drive to hold extra storage which is not too bad. Overall, battery life is about 8-9 hours on a full charge which I think is great. Design programs also work flawlessly. Only drawbacks are price tag and storage. I would recommend this product.

I have been a life long PC user, but got tired of my computers moving slow and have after running an anti-virus scan and it saying nothing is wrong! The MacBook has been fast, smooth, and the design is very sleek.

This is truly one great laptop . i was thinking of getting a Surface Book but ended up getting this Mac Book Pro instead . Personally i think you get an amazing looking computer and a fast one too for a good price.

Overall, my old MacBook's battery died and I needed a replacement. I wasn't going to move back into another Apple product, but I was quickly convinced. The battery, the awesome screen, and the OS is simply awesome!

I can't really express in words how much I love this laptop. Best one I've bought to date. The speed, the Retina display, the backlit keys and more. Some sites don't support flash but it's not a huge deal to me.

Great computer for college student that are required to do labs and other assignments. Computer is very fast and efficient. It is also very easy to use and can be a productive tool for anyone regardless of age.

I was hesitant to buy this product at first because of the higher price point. However, it has been totally worth the price. This laptop is lightning fast, has a beautiful display, is very user-friendly, doesn't have a million updates every time you turn around, and is and an all-around fantastic product so far. I was a Windows person for so long, and now I don't know if I'll ever go back.

This is my third version of this beautiful machine, and it is slightly slimmer, slightly faster,but its like reviewing a Ferrari, there was nothing wrong with the last one! It was just time for my ex gf to inherit it!

The retina screen is gorgeous, startup from sleep mode is extremely fast, and overall performance is great. Only downside is a small hard drive, but is easily solved with a portable hard drive for larger files.

First Mac purchase and I must say that I am impressed with the speed and fluidity of the computer and operating system. I bought this for my wife but I use it way more than she does. The retina screen is amazing.

I absolutely love my new MacBook Pro. Does more than I need it to. I bought it because it syncs with my iPhone and iPad very well. Also just wanted a new computer to replace 2 year old PC. Make sure to upgrade your iCloud storage plan. Ran into a problem downloading photos because I didn't have enough but that is my fault not the computer's. This machine is blazing fast. The 8 gigs of ram makes multitasking a breeze. The fan only had to come on once so far when I used a very intense program. Macs are worth it I promise! If you're thinking about buying a new computer, never settle with a PC.

This laptop is easy to carry, very light and portable. It's a perfect size to fit into a tote bag, backpack, etc. The battery life is 13 hours which is GREAT for students who need to write papers after papers.

Always been a PC user but decided upon the Macbook Pro based upon price (Apple had a small sale going on), reliability and the fact that it is less likely to get viruses than Windows based systems. After looking into laptops and all the extra fees associated with it that need to be purchased each year (antivirus software and Microsoft Office) it was better to go with a Mac in the long run. Display is awesome, fast processor and battery life phenomenal! Get purchase!!

This MacBook Pro is beautiful, light and easy to use. I had one before and do not regret my purchases. I would advise it to anyone, from a person with no savvy skills to a person in need of a good working tool.

This was a gift for our teenager to get her through high school yearbook and college. It is a great product and worth the investment. It's so easy to use and came with all the programs she needed for school.

Pros: Size, great display, functionality Cons: No DVD drive and memory upgrades are difficult.
