Almost perfect
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you’re looking for a solid, firm, sleek keyboard case for your iPad, go for this. You won’t regret it. The keyboard is truly seamless and feels just like my macbook’s. The only drawback is that you can’t fold this over. I write my notes on my iPad for classes, and every time I have to do, I have to take my IPad off and it can be mildly annoying. I also hate having my iPad without protection when doing so. Anyways, I got annoyed enough at a point and I bought the Logitech folio touch keyboard case. It’s also nice, but honestly, it didn’t compare to the magic keyboard, and I’m retuning the Logitech case and staying with the Magic keyboard. Pricy, but it’s worth it for the most part. NOTE: in hindsight, I wish I bought the white magic keyboard. The white looks much nicer, but it’s too late for an exchange.

Apple magic keyboard
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was on the fence about getting this apple branded bluetooth keyboard but once you connect it to your ipad pro, its definitely a new experience! The buttons are easy to type with and connecting it is as easy as placing your ipad on the magnet! Durable and great feel in your hands!

Excellent Keyboard & Stand!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Much better than last year's smart keyboard. This is much heavier though, but easier to work with. Very solid, attractive, and versatile! Expensive, but worth it!

Best ipad keyboard ive ever used
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Although this keyboard case is super pricey and i first balked at the purchase , i have since change my mind and feel it was worth and dont regret it at all. The touch pad works amazing and the keyboard keys feel smooth and type with ease for my iPad Air 4. It has changed how and when i use my ipad significantly in a very god way. I would recommend though getting a sleeve to carry the whole thing around when your ipad is attached.

Finally an Apple made keyboard that is great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.PROS: I have been using this keyboard for several weeks and find it as close to a laptop experience I have ever had on a iPad. Finally a trackpad! and lighted keyboard! all in a sturdy well made case. CONS: It is expensive ( I know it says Apple on it). You can't fold it to lay the iPad flat for not taking (this might just take some getting used to). The pencil still just sits on top of the case and easily gets knocked off during transport. No function keys. Overall I love this keyboard and wonder how I did without it. Not ready to give up my MacBook just yet but getting closer....

Solid but Pricey Ipad Keyboard
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent keyboard. A bit expensive. Turns your iPad Pro into a super-charged laptop while making it incredibly portable for work or school. Should be at least a hundred dollars cheaper than it is. As usual, Apple products are way over-priced.

Perfect for Zoom!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In this new age of COVID-19, I needed a keyboard to hook to my iPad to do all my zoom meetings, homework, and to work from home. As a university student, I needed a good keyboard and it really proved to be the best one I’ve ever had. The price seemed steep at first, but it was worth its weight in gold. It’s seamless; I love that I can switch the keyboard language instantly, going from English to Spanish to French to Portuguese to my emoji keyboard and back. This makes it really simple to use accents and other keystrokes when writing in a foreign language that I’ve always found difficult on a traditional keyboard. The ability to change the angle of the iPad (and have it stay at set angle) is really wonderful for my zoom meetings, also it’s free range instead of having a set few angles that you can prop it up at. I like that it sits about an inch above the keyboard so it is a flattering angle for the user while video chatting. The keyboard is smaller than a traditional keyboard but it only took me about 15 minutes to get accustomed to it, and now it just feels natural. I also really love that there’s an actual mouse pad so when I’m editing photos, or just surfing the web, you don’t have to use the touchscreen but you can if that’s your preference. I also did spill water all over the keyboard and just blew the water out and it was fine, so it’s got some durability there (not to say it’s waterproof). Speaking of durability, I was getting off a plane and it fell all the way to the tarmac (with no screen protector) and there was no cracks or chips, just some scuffing on the corner that it landed on so it definitely has great support and protection for drops. Overall, really great for work, school, and everything else. Recommend 100%.

Great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the feel of it, its very sleek and sexy. I like how supportive it is with the ipad, its not easy for it to tip over. The keys are great and you can set up in settings what you want the extra keys to be for. Very easy to type with. The trackpad works great and you can click from anywhere on it. The one thing that I don’t like is that you can’t flatten it like 360 or like you were going to read from it and hold it in your hand. It has a limit of how far it can move and adjust. I have just turned it around and had the keyboard sticking up in the air but that doesnt look sexy. Or you can just remove the ipad from it altogether and its easy to do. But, i prefer to keep a case on my ipad.

Amazing compliment, but at a price...
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First, the quality is on par with what you’d expect from an Apple product. The outside has a rubberized finish that is pleasant to hold. There’s a felt finish where the iPad would lay. The back-lit keyboard is very sturdy without flexing points. It is decent in size and the keys are well spaced. The keys provide surprisingly satisfying clicks with enough travel. The smallish trackpad is highly responsive, and you can click everywhere on it. You can also change it to tapping through options, which I like better. The MK also features a pass-through USB-C port to keep the iPad charged while in use, freeing up the device’s USB-C port. While convenient, sadly it does not allow for data or video connectivity. As a case, I am not as impressed. It adds more than double the weight to the iPad, which sometimes I like as this makes it feel like a quality product, but also makes it heavier than my notebook laptop. While the case may protect the back and screen, the sides are completely exposed, so I would be very careful in where and how I carry my device. I also find it impractical that in order to use the iPad as a tablet comfortably, I must take it out of the case. This can be quite cumbersome if you are standing or walking around since now you either must hold the device with the case awkwardly or find somewhere to place it. It makes the MK feel more like an accessory at this point. Lately, I am using it more as some sort of docking station at home as I keep it plugged into an outlet. As far as functionality, the Magic Keyboard certainly adds quite a bit but leaves a lot of room for improvement. The design is unique in that it makes the iPad appear as if it is floating, making the screen “pop out” at you, which is rather cool. You just want to reach out and touch it (defeating some of the keyboard’s purpose?). iPad OS, with its PC-like multitasking environment, provides a good reason to have a keyboard and trackpad adding value to the combo. Does it make it a laptop? Yes, sort of. When typing and using the trackpad, with gestures and all, it definitely feels like it all comes together quite nicely -especially when doing productivity work. It just flows. However, I could not help but feel like I was severely missing the multi-function keys. Sure, I had to memorize the key-commands or remap them, but doing things like adjusting brightness, volume, and some apps being clunky such as video editing require reaching out to the screen, and I found myself doing that quite a lot -regardless of the trackpad’s being there. In contrast, I never feel the need to reach out to my laptop’s touchscreen. Extending on the laptop comparison, I found it cumbersome to use it on my lap when relaxing on the couch. The screen only tilts to a certain degree, and sadly it’s not that much. This becomes more apparent when trying to use the Apple Pencil as it is not stable at all, even when trying it in tabletop mode. I found it easier to simply take it off and use the MK as a coaster whenever I wanted to take notes or sketch. Again, is my iPad a laptop now? Not really. But is it a better iPad? That’s for sure! The Magic Keyboard simply is the ultimate compliment to a compatible iPad. However, I still feel like there will (or should be) a better-designed keyboard/case from a competitor (or Apple) at a much better value. As it stands, it is hard to justify the price tag -unless you are dependent on the iPad as your main source of productivity.

Enhanced the IPad experience
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this along with the IPad Pro 11’. The product is well designed and makes the IPad feel a bit more like an actual laptop. The design and the quality of the components of the product are top quality. Kudos to the apple engineers who designed and developed the magic keyboard. My only complaint is the price tag of the product. With a $300 price tag for the 11’ and the $100+ for the pen, yes you are paying for quality and design, but it doesn’t blunt the fact that you have to spend another $500 to get the full functionality of the IPad.

Exactly what my iPad needed
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am primarily a Mac user. I looked at my iPad as not much more than a book reader (in the likes of a Kindle but much nicer) and a toy. There was no way I was going to use it to do every day tasks. A lot has changed in the week since I purchased the Magic Keyboard. Though there are some tasks that require my Mac, lots of things are now being done on my iPad. Things that I would not have considered before the addition of the Magic Keyboard. My iPad now goes with me wherever I go (no ways I was going to carry either one of my Macs with me). My only complaint is that it (the keyboard) is hard to keep clean. To fix this issue, I put a beautiful SopiGuard skin on the “body” and added an Uppercase GhostCover to protect and keep the keyboard clean. Problem solved. There are still some things I must get used to, but if I am loving it this much in just one week of use, I am sure I’ll figure those things out soon enough.

Expensive but Great
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing makes all the difference! I mean it was really expensive even getting it open box, but it seriously makes my iPad Air 4 even more useful. It works perfectly. The track pad is really nice as well. I used the iPad with a cheap bluetooth keyboard and mouse for about six months which worked but this is so so much better. I also think the charging feature is excellent. I really love how it comes off easily for drawing or whatever but also stays securely on the case.

Love it!!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very happy with it. My iPad is essentially my laptop now, and it is SOOOO much easier to type with it. The track pad works well. The keyboard comes with a USB charging port that is on the other side of the iPad port, and that is good. I can use keyboard port to charge if i want to, and can keep the ipad one available for other purposes. It is expensive, but Apple products are. Well worth it to me!

Better than a laptop, for couch use.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent keyboard. Uses the same plug as my MacBook 12. I bought this for my wife, who hates the MacBook 12 keyboard. Since I’m hunt and peck, I love my MacBook 12. She gives the new keyboard a thumbs up. I expected to detach the IPAD for use on the couch. Surprisingly, It is so compact and stable, I use it on the couch. My legs crossed, with my feet on the ottoman, it is the perfect couch laptop. For couch use, far preferable to a regular notebook, as the print is so easy to read. Highly recommend.

Neat product!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently purchased an iPad Pro from Best Buy. I was looking into cases options when the sales Rep mentioned that the new magnetic keyboard would be a great choice. It’s a great product! It offers not only protection but also works great! It’s very light weight and great functional addition for iPad! Price was decent, haven’t had any issues with it. The Best Buy membership also provides great peace of mind when it comes to returns/exxhanges.

Overall an excellent keyboard
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great keyboard. Well made, rugged, excellent keyboard, and the trackpad is nice. Keys are backlit as well. Wish it had a function key row though as my previous keyboard had that and I miss that. The tablet is magnetically attached which is nice that you can easily remove it, but I find I need to be careful since I’ve almost had it slip off a couple times when opening it. It is kinda heavy but that doesn’t bother me. I prefer having the solid construction with added weight that this keyboard has over something lighter that is flimsy.

Absolute Game Changer
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This basically turns your ipad into a full on computer. I absolutely love all the features it includes. 1. Adjustable viewable angles 2. track pad 3. backbit keyboard (also, the caps lock key has a green button that lights up so that you can tell when caps lock is on) 4. extra charging port on the bottom 5. Better keyboard (better than the smart folio keyboard case) 6. minimalist printed apple logo on the back (better than a simple black design). All of these features are jammed into one device making it pretty tough to not buy this.
