This was one of the best purchases I've made for my older generation iPad. It made it feel like a new device. The keyboard is fantastic, and I love the addition of a mouse. It's also nice being able to charge with the secondary port so I can plug other devices in at the same time without a dongle. I also no longer have to struggle getting the angle right as this keyboard allow you to swivel up and down. It does add a little bit more weight to the iPad, which could be a negative for some. But if you want to get your iPad as close as possible to performing double duty as a laptop and tablet, this is a must. This keyboard is not cheap, but if you can afford it you won't be sorry.

First impressions: The pink color is gorgeous in person — soft, modern, and not too flashy. It’s more of a subtle blush than a bright pink, which gives it a classy and fresh vibe. The size feels great in the hand if you’re used to bigger phones, and the aluminum edges make it feel sturdy but not too heavy. Screen & Design: The 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR display is stunning — bright, sharp, and excellent for watching videos or browsing. The colors are vivid and text looks crisp. It’s flat (not curved), which I actually like because it feels more precise when tapping near the edges. Performance: The A16 Bionic chip is super fast — apps open instantly, multitasking is smooth, and even games run like butter. You won’t feel like this phone is slowing down anytime soon. It’s basically as fast as the 14 Pro from last year, which is a win. Camera: The 48MP main camera is a huge upgrade. Photos come out detailed, bright, and really natural-looking. The color balance is solid, and low-light performance is impressive for a non-Pro iPhone. The new 2x zoom mode gives a bit more flexibility, and selfies look sharp too. Battery life: This is one of the best parts. The iPhone 15 Plus can easily last all day and into the next morning with moderate use. Streaming, texting, social media, and even some video recording — no problem. USB-C port: Finally! Charging and data transfer now work with USB-C, which is more convenient if you have other modern devices. But you’ll need new cables if you’ve been using Lightning. Little things: • Dynamic Island is a fun, interactive touch — not a game-changer, but a nice improvement. • No 120Hz refresh rate (only 60Hz), which Pro models have — not a dealbreaker, but worth noting. • No telephoto lens — just wide and ultra-wide. ⸻ Pros: • Beautiful, soft pink color • Great battery life • Strong performance • Excellent main camera • USB-C port (finally!) Cons: • Only 60Hz display (not as smooth as Pro models) • No telephoto lens • A bit large for small hands ⸻ Final Thoughts: If you want a big, beautiful iPhone with great battery life, a reliable camera, and a gorgeous pink color, the iPhone 15 Plus is a fantastic choice. It’s not a “Pro,” but it does almost everything most people need — and looks amazing while doing it.

Best keyboard for you iPad, hands down! Love the switches on this keyboard, kinda pricey but it definitely is worth it if you’re going to be typing a lot on it, this replaces my macbook air for me, since i primarily use it for notes and typing up emails, and for media consumption, great buy to enhance an already great tablet! Only con is if you get the 11inch the sizing is a bit weird at first, it’ll take some getting used to, but not uncomfortable after you get the feel of it

Great Keyboard but expensive - get open box!

This is specifically the 11-inch model and I’ve had this for about a month. Unfortunately, all of my business and personal travel plans have been cancelled due to COVID and for the most part, I have used this indoors. The whole point of this type of setup is to take it out and about but I’ve been pretty much limited to using this from one room to another. Right when I first got this and was holding the box, I could already tell that it was going to be heavy and there is a very noticeable difference between this and the folio keyboard They keyboard weighs at 601 grams - about the same weight as the iPad Pro itself which makes sense for this type of design to act as the counterbalance to the tablet. Weight of the keyboard stops becoming an issue. You get used to it after carrying it around for a few minutes
Keep in mind that this keyboard might not fit the tablet pockets on some backpacks because it does increase the width a little bit. Some tablet pockets are made for the exact size of the 10.5 - 11-inch iPad. If it will fit with your old folio, it might not fit with the new magic keyboard! Because of the weight, the keyboard feels solid and very well built. I really like how the keys feel in comparison to the folio keyboard. No more of that mushy butterfly bull crap but more of an actual real mechanical keyboard. As some reviewers have pointed out, the typing experience is similar to the keyboards found on the newer MacBooks. I don’t really mind the absence of the function keys because I’ve gotten used all the shortcuts the iPad has had over the years but the design placement of that top row is too close to the bottom edge of the iPad. I think it will bother those with larger hands and people who move their hands up and down a lot when they type.
Also, the Backlit keys are definitely a welcome addition Using on the lap still isn’t as good as a laptop but it’s much less awkward to use than the keyboard folio

The viewing angle is MUCH MUCH better than the one on the folio. Night and day
I thought the trackpad would be annoyingly thin, but it’s not so bad and it is very responsive. I think I am more impressed with the trackpad than they keys on the keyboard. Gesture experience (Swiping, scrolling, etc) is similar to the MacBooks So again, I’ve used this for about a month and some people may be wondering - is this a computer and if it could replace a laptop. Short answer is yes to both. But is it better than the actual laptop / desktop computer experience? Now that depends on your own personal use cases. If the iPad Pro was my main device and if I were to use this very often I most probably say this would be the way to go.
But the thing is, it's not. Even with the release of the new iPad OS 14, it's still not a desktop like experience. I don't want to get into the details of the Operating System limitations but my workflow consists of working on multiple spreadsheets, side by side and juggling that data in between other applications. I mean it IS possible to do that on the iPad and obviously the new Magic Keyboard does improve the typing experience but it really doesn't add anything new to the usage experience that we didn't already have... at least not anyway. Sure you have the trackpad which is nice... but after using the touch screen alone on the iPad for so long, I don't use the mouse capabilities as often as I thought I would over the past few months. I honestly tried real hard to make this my only device but if I had another tool readily available such as my MacBook Pro that does a better job for making my money, then I would obviously use that. But make no mistake, the iPad itself is an excellent compliment to a Mac and even a Windows device and can handle a majority of everyday tasks. A lot of us work within a browser using cloud based services and the iPad Pro with the Magic Keyboard is very capable of doing all that. So the big question... is this worth $300 - $350? If your work is mostly done on a desktop or a MacBook because of your workflow and application needs, then $300 is way too much to pay for a websurfing media viewing device where you end up just popping off the keyboard anyway. If you need a keyboard to just type on occasion or do minor work, the keyboard folio paired with a bluetooth mouse or simply using the touchscreen is more than fine. If budget is no issue... then I would absolutely say go for it. This is as close to a viable MacBook touch screen experience as it gets

Must-have for work on the go

I purchased this case on a whim when I got an iPad Air (M1) at the last minute to be able to take work on the go for a conference. I can't imagine not having this keyboard! It was absolutely essential at the conference. The trackpad is my favorite part about this keyboard. I'm typically a laptop user, and bought this combo when my MacBook STILL hadn't arrived (it was a custom order, it took months due to supply chain issues). Going from keyboard to trackpad is much more natural for me than going from keyboard to screen, and it reduced my fingerprints on the screen, which can drive me nuts, lol. Oh, and keyboard shortcuts!!! I was so excited to discover I could still use my usual keyboard shortcuts! Some people may not like the limited tilting ability, so be mindful of that before purchasing. The case itself definitely adds weight to the device, but I personally don't mind, because it secures it to the surface I sit it on that much more. Having a USB-C port for charging at the keyboard level is a great addition, so you don't have a cord sticking out the end of your device. Is this a case for your iPad? No. Does it provide minimal protection for your iPad while using the keyboard? Yes.

iPad Pro and Air Cover is good but...

I will be the first to admit that this is a very expensive keyboard/iPad cover. There are plenty of alternatives that can give you similar functionality. I was able to purchase this at a price match that was nearly 100 off the retail price so it made it worth it. The build quality, like all things Apple, is exceptional. The keys feel like a magic keyboard with just the right amount of tactile feel. The trackpad is useful and sort of converts an iPad into a light laptop. There is pass though charging too so you don't have to plug-in two cables to charge the keyboard cover and the iPad which is really nice. And the way that the cover holds the iPad is great, it feels very sturdy and hasn't failed on me yet, and the ability to change the angle of the screen is amazing. However, the cover does hide the beautiful color options you can get with your iPad (mine is Blue but I forget that it is because the cover is on 99.9% of the time), this can be a benefit as well if have an iPad Air/Pro that wasn't your first color choice. The cover is slim fitting, and it does add a bit of bulk to the iPad and is adding a bit of weight to the iPad as well. I don't know if it's any heavier or lighter than any other 3rd party covers but I did notice that the iPad Air feels less "airy" with the cover on, and I am sure this would be similar with Logitech or other keyboard covers as well. This keyboard cover is designed to hold the iPad in landscape mode much like a laptop, so if you're just looking to do some reading with the iPad or need a cover that folds out of the way, you may want to look at a secondary option for a case when you want to have it hand held and reading, as the keyboard does get in the way of holding it in portrait orientation Overall, I would recommend this if it's in your budget, and definitely recommend it if you are able to get a better price on it. But at full price I'd at least consider looking at the 3rd parties to see if what they have to offer is comparable for what your needs are. Pros: - Build quality - Keyboard feel - Pass-thru charging - Tilt and angle adjustment - Attaches securely - Converts iPad Air and Pro into a mini-laptop Cons: - Price - Color options - Added weight - No portrait mode orientation - Cannot fold the keyboard out of the way

Didn't think I needed one until I started using it

I've got multiple laptops and in Covid times, I've been using all of them at work, home and in my car. I didn't think I needed a Magic Keyboard until I started using one. I've had all different kinds of BT keyboards for my iPhone and iPad and discovered the extra step of turning it on or keeping it charged was just enough of a hurdle that I didn't use them unless I had a specific use case and event then, I was more likely to just bring my laptop. With a super easy to dock case, track pad and pass through charging port to keep the USB-C port available, this is a fantastic accessory for anyone that wants instant-on availability. This is pretty much the biggest advantage to that of a windows or macOS laptop. I think the only downsides to the Magic Keyboard is the price and that you'll want an easy to remove case to swap out on occasions where you don't want the bulk of the keyboard or cases where the keyboard might get dirty or damaged (i.e. in the kitchen). For the price, Apple should give you a cover...

    Heavy But Great

The Magic Keyboard makes the iPad Pro a laptop replacement more than ever. The keyboard is nice and clicky and I'm glad that it has backlit keys. However, you do have to dig into the settings to adjust the brightness. There is no escape key but you can easily remap another key to function as an escape key (I used the globe key). The mouse is a bit small compared to a traditional laptop keyboard, but you get used to it quickly. One thing to note about the Magic Keyboard is it is quite heavy when paired with the iPad Pro. It wasn't unbearable by any means with my 11" iPad Pro, but it essentially doubles the weight without the Magic Keyboard on. The Magic Keyboard doesn't fold all the way back so it's great in landscape for a desk or in your lap as a laptop, but you will need to remove your iPad to use it in portrait mode. I definitely plan on keeping mine and look forward to seeing how Apple iterates it in the future.

This is a sharp looking keyboard. The iPad snaps on easily and the tilt holds into place very well. Almost too well, in fact. You need a good amount of effort to change the angle of the iPad. I would love for it to be able to go a little flatter - I believe the max angle is 130 degrees which is good for any desk but doesn’t give you that “canvas” feel if you want to draw using the Apple Pencil. I was surprised to find that the trackpad works great - just as you’d expect with a MacBook. Key travel is amazing - similar to the old MacBook Airs - and a huge step up from the butterfly switches Apple had been using on some of the more recent MacBooks. In order to not have the iPad with keyboard be top heavy, they had to make it be very weighty. Additionally, the keyboard is flush on both sides of the iPad folded up, so the additional width makes it fatter than a MacBook Air. So if you’re looking to travel lighter or thinner than a MacBook Air, this keyboard might not be for you. But it’s absolutely a great addition that gives you much more functionality than just an iPad or MacBook.

I had a 2018 iPad Pro 11 inch with its respective Keyboard Folio, and it was great! The Folio for that generation had its problems, but overall it was satisfactory. With the new one, it seems that they’ve solved almost all of the problems the old one had, but introduced new problems as well. Let’s start with the good. The new keyboard is a pleasure to type on. While the 11-inch version does feel a tad cramped, the keys with their new scissor-switch design feel satisfying to type on. The backlighting is also great, although I’d like for there to be an easier way to adjust brightness (currently, the only way to do so is to go into general settings, into keyboard settings, into physical keyboard, and then into brightness). The trackpad is also a great addition, maximizing on the remaining space below the keyboard. It also leaves room for relatively comfortable wrist rests, which make typing that much more comfortable. The keyboard is also just very high quality, which you would expect for the price. USB-C passthrough is also handy, and allows me to charge on either side of the iPad. The magnetic attachment of the iPad to the folio is also very sturdy. I never feel like it’s going to slip off or give. But then they added problems that the original Keyboard Folio never had. For instance, you can’t fold the keyboard full around, meaning that if I want to use the iPad as a tablet in my lap, I have to remove the iPad from the folio. The folio is also just unexpectedly heavy, even heavier than the iPad itself, by a considerable margin. Another small complaint is that the folio closes on the screen with such strength that it’s almost impossible to open up with one hand. I might need to get more used to it, but for the time being, having switched from the previous iPad Pro, these things annoy me maybe more than they should. Overall, it’s a great product. But considering the added problems and the frankly absurd price, I can’t give it more than a 4/5.

Apple Magic Keyboard vs. Logitech Combo Keyboard

I will review both the Apple Magic Keyboard and the Logitech Combo Keyboard for iPad Air Gen. 5. Stand: The best and coolest feature of the Apple MK is the floating support for the iPad. It works great if you want to type on the iPad on your lap. The Logitech uses a kickstand and it is not as stable as the Apple MK. Clear winner is the Apple MK. Keyboard and trackpad: Both have nearly identical keyboards, the trackpad on the Logitech is slightly larger. The feel of the keyboard and trackpad is similar on both. The distinguishing feature is that the Logitech has a row of function keys for volume control, brightness control, keyboard brightness control, minimizing current App. These features are very convenient and it is surprising that the Apple MK does not have them. Winner: Logitech Extra USB-c charging port: Apple MK has one and Logitech does not, Winner Apple MK Tablet Mode: The keyboard on the Logitech detaches if you want to use the iPad as a Table. You can also attach the Logitech keyboard in the opposite direction. The Apple MK does not detach, nor does it rotate 180 degrees. The Apple MK can detach easily, however, there is no case protection should you drop the iPad. If Table Mode is important, then the clear winner is the Logitech. Protection: The Apple MK does not have any side protection if you drop the iPad straight down. The Logitech is protected on all 4 sides. Winner Logitech Price: $380 at Best Buy for Apple MK vs. $159 at Best Buy for Logitech Bottom Line: Both are great Keyboard cases. It really depends upon how you plan on using your iPad and how much you want to spend. I personally like the flexibility of Logitech that allows going back and forth from Table Mode to Laptop Mode, and the extra function keys on the Logitech.

Can actually work on your lap wtih this keyboard and facilitates higher accuracy fast touch typing. Touch pad is decen and iOS allows changing 2 finger scroll to tradtional method which is nice. Due to hinge design, angle can be adjusted quite usefuly. Nice in that it can be adjusted to a slight down angle if put on a shelf to view from below or to reduce glare from a shiny screen. Good productivity tool. iPad OS not optimized for touchpad, but decent. Magnets attaching to iPad hold strong for the most part. Cons: this thing is big and heavy. When attached, it makes the iPad thicker, wider, and heavier, no longer fitting in some compact packs. Also, dimensions become thicker and heavier than a Macbok 12. Can't imagine what it would do to a 12.9 iPad PRO in terms of size and weight. Those magnets that provide solid attachment also make it heavy. Another issue is mistypes due to finger hitting the screen when attempting to reach number and punctation top row of keys due to the iPad floating above those keys. Backlight doesn't seem adjustable and not quite bright enough in certain instances, but works well for 85% of situations. (most of the time touch typing anyway...) Also friction floating hings is already looser than when first purchased less than a month ago. A bit costly as it cost nearly as much as a regular iPad.

I recently purchased the Apple iPad, and it has been a fantastic addition to my tech arsenal. I needed a new computer but wanted something more portable than a traditional laptop, and the iPad fits the bill perfectly. Its lightweight design makes it incredibly easy to carry around, whether I’m heading to work or just lounging at home. I’ve found it ideal for research tasks; the performance is smooth and responsive, making multitasking a breeze. On the leisure side, it’s great for streaming my favorite shows. The display is vibrant, and the sound quality is impressive, which enhances my viewing experience. One of the standout features has been the battery life—it's exceptional. I can use it for hours without needing to recharge, which is a huge plus for someone always on the go. Overall, I’m really pleased with my purchase. The iPad strikes a perfect balance between productivity and entertainment, making it a versatile device that meets all my needs.

By far the best keyboard for my iPad Pro that I’ve had. Extremely easy to use, very durable, and nice features. I really enjoy the backlit keyboard and it’s use of a direct connection via contacts on the back of your iPad Pro and the keyboard itself vs yet another Bluetooth connection interfering with all of the other wireless devices that I have in constant use. You simply place your iPad where it belongs on the keyboard and strong magnets keep it secure. You never have to worry about charging it since it runs off of your iPad Pro’s insanely long-lasting battery. Worth the price and I would recommend it to anyone with an iPad Pro.

Pros: key quality/typing experience is fantastic. Keys have good depth and provide great feedback. Overall build quality is very nice and ease of use is superb (just attach by the magnet). Super easy to take on/off magnet. Easy to use on the lap. Cons: The other side of the coin in terms of build quality - adds a significant amount of weight to the device (even the 11” version). It’s not unmanageable but I was surprised by the extra heft. The lack of function keys is puzzling and honestly pretty annoying - coming from the Logitech Combo, not having easy access to volume control and other functions is frustrating at times. Price is obviously quite high. Overall: Despite some drawbacks, this is still an excellent keyboard and I’m happy with my purchase. If you’re willing to accept the purchase price, it’s worth the investment that highly increases productivity on the iPad.
