Customers are saying

Customers have good things to say about the Magic Keyboard's keyboard quality, ease of use, and sleek design. Many appreciate its lightweight nature and the added protection it offers for the iPad. However, some customers find the price to be high and express concerns about the lack of Apple Pencil storage and limited compatibility with other accessories. The white color is also a popular feature among users.

I really like it overall and wouldn’t be without it now, but is overpriced for what it is. I’ve only had it a few weeks but the quality and predicted durability are pretty good. Pros: High quality materials Great to type on Includes smallish track pad White goes great with my silver iPad Pro 11” Has backlighting Easy to mount and holds device securely Extra charge port Built-in connection and power Cons: Expensive Backlighting is uneven and splotchey Backlighting sometimes flashes off and on Does not protect the edges of the device Inconvenient to open as there is no protrusion to pull against Even without a function row, my fingers often bump the bottom of the device

I know it's a little pricey but it's sturdy and doesnt need to be flipped and folded onto itself for a about the same price as the others. Im not apple everything cause i still do prefer my android phone but this is the ideal set up for on the go computing. Microsoft needs to catch up cause my laptop is rarely used as much as it should after having my ipad air with magic keyboard

I purchased this keyboard as open box but it was in perfect condition and in original packaging. I was able to save a little money. The white cover is fairly new to the lineup and packs a nice punch of color. Having the ability to prop it up to watch videos or type something into an email is great. If I could add one feature it would be to have it rotate to portrait. Other than that, Apple always brings great quality, but know that comes at a high price. Setup is a jiff and you will be pleased you bought it.

Pros: This a great magic keyboard for my iPad. It’s also very light and great for traveling. Cons: Very expensive for the material and for it to be so plain in aesthetics.

If you have an iPad you need to get this keyboard. The iPad attaches effortlessly but stays firmly in place. The keyboard holds a charge for a good amount of time. It's easy to use even if you have sausage fingers like me. One of the best features is the way it operates like a laptop. It opens and stays up just like a laptop screen would do. This is an awesome addition to any iPad. It's a little expensive, but it's an Apple product so we're used to that.

This keyboard allowed her to take her iPad on the road and leave the laptop behind! If she needs the huge horsepower of her laptop, she just remotely controls her laptop from across the country. Apple made all the commands work flawlessly. The trackpad is a game changer for on the keyboard/stand!!

This keyboard/cover is excellent. It really transforms the iPad into so much more than a tablet. Really my only complaint (as many others) is the price tag. You can find the black one on sale much easier, but the white version is so nice to look at! Side note: I haven't had any issues with it getting dirty after a couple weeks of use. We'll see how it holds up.

The Magic Keyboard is better than I expected! I was concerned that the ipad would not stay on, but the magnet is strong enough and my ipad has never slipped. The keyboard is excellent and feels much better to type on vs. the regular apple keyboard, although does make a 'click' noise with each keystroke so be mindful if you're on a video call. The white color so far has been very easy to clean, and looks beautiful. I tried the logitech keybard first before opting for the apple keyboard and am so happy as this superior in a number of ways. Love it and would buy it again.

Easy-to-use and light weight. Also nice that it charges the ipad when Its being charged itself. For that price, I do wish they had different colors though.

Of all of the keyboards I have purchased in the Past years all of them pale in comparison to the Magic Keyboard. One of the many features I enjoy is the pass-through charging, which allows you to utilize your iPad Pro for hours on end. When paired with the iPad Pro it gives a similar feeling as working on a MacBook or laptop computer. It was very well thought out and designed.

The keyboard works great! The key pad isn't too sensitive, so you can make firm contact without accidental touches. It's also works great as a protective cover. It's light weight, but durable surface resist impacts and moisture. Glad the associate recommended this item.

This keyboard is the best thing I have ever bought. It turns my iPad into a mini Mac, and it is really cool. The design, the sound of the key clicking, the under glow in the keys, pass through charging, and the touch pad makes it awesome. It literally turns you iPad into a mini MacBook

This is a huge improvement over prior generation keyboards, and I have had several. It has a great touch for typing, it acts as a reasonable protective case, and it elevates the screen off of the keyboard just a bit which makes the viewing ergonomics better. The magnet which holds the IPad in place is very strong giving the user confidence in the entire setup. It is a little pricey, but definitely worth the investment.

Quality and craftsmanship as you would expect from Apple. Ease of use and connection are seamless between your iPad and this keyboard. The idea of using magnets to hold iPad to the keyboard is brilliant in design that was never thought before. No clasps, no brackets, no clips around the edges of iPad. Keyboard types comfortably. This keyboard, however, adds a little weight to the iPad more than I expected.

I bought this initially to replace my old laptop that was starting to burn out. I loved it at first, but realized I do need a laptop separate from a tablet. Before I complain, I will say that the keys are very satisfying to type with, and you get used to the small sized keyboard after about an hour or so. The trackpad worked flawlessly. I used my iPad heavily to take notes and annotate readings, but with the Magic Keyboard I would have to take it off of the keyboard in order to highlight/annotate. Then my iPad felt so naked and like it could be damaged from writing on it with no case and a bulging camera on the back of the tablet. That is my biggest gripe. Trying to highlight using the Apple Pencil when my iPad was in this case felt so unnatural. It was also top heavy, meaning if you wanted to work on the couch you had to be careful about how it was positioned or else it felt like you were teetering the whole device while typing or scrolling. The tilt angle is fine for desk-browsing, but I found it didn't tilt back as far as I would like when I was sitting on the couch or on a comfy chair. I ended up buying a new laptop anyway and can return to using my iPad as a giant notebook. Still have the case since it is an amazing option as a pseudo mini MacBook.
