It’s good don’t get me wrong. I like the fact that the Keyboard can be lit pretty well I really do enjoy that. Also, you can customize the trackpad depending on the speed you like. The magnets are really well I must say. Overall 8/10

Keyboard works fine as expected. Only complaint is the magnetic function of the keyboard doesn’t work well when a silicone case is attached to the Ipad Pro 11” M4. Keyboard will not work also. The case should be removed so the Ipad Pro will work with the keyboard.

I have always had a keyboard folio for my iPads and when I upgraded my iPad this last time I decided to try the Magic Keyboard for iPad. This pairing enhances the iPad experience and makes it feel like you're using a small laptop. They keyboard is responsive and accurate, has a function row for quick access to multiple features and backlit keys for low light conditions. The trackpad works even better than the one on my MacBook Pro. I have found that the display angle range for the iPad suits my needs very well. This keyboard folio is on the heavier side, but it is a quality piece of equipment and I have no regrets spending the money on it.

Very unhappy with apple keyboard!!! Ever since the IOS 17 some of the keys do not respond on both of our keyboard. Got the newest iPad Pro one month ago and assumed that the new keyboard would be perfect. Nope. The space key doesn’t always work in messages and never works for e-mail. Very unhappy.

Review of the Magic Keyboard for iPad M4 The Magic Keyboard for the iPad M4 is a game-changer in terms of functionality and user experience. Designed to transform your iPad into a more capable productivity tool, it seamlessly combines the sleek design Apple is known for with impressive practicality. Design and Build Quality Apple has crafted a masterpiece with its minimalist design that effortlessly complements the iPad M4. The keyboard is lightweight yet sturdy, making it perfect for on-the-go use without adding unnecessary bulk. Its floating cantilever design is not only visually appealing but also highly functional, allowing for smooth angle adjustments. Typing Experience Typing on the Magic Keyboard is a delight. The keys are backlit and provide a comfortable, responsive typing experience, much like a traditional laptop keyboard. The key travel allows for error-free typing, crucial for those who type extensively throughout their day. Trackpad Functionality One of the standout features is the integrated trackpad. It brings a new dimension to using an iPad with multi-touch gestures that make navigating both comfortable and intuitive. This addition significantly boosts productivity and makes the iPad feel more like a laptop substitute. Connectivity and Usability Connecting the Magic Keyboard to the iPad M4 is seamless and immediate, thanks to the smart connector. This feature removes the hassle of pairing and the need for charging cables, as the keyboard draws power directly from the iPad. Pricing While the Magic Keyboard is on the pricier side, costing significantly more than its competitors, the functionality, craftsmanship, and enhancement it brings to the iPad experience could justify the investment for many users. Helping a New Teacher As a new teacher, the Magic Keyboard has been particularly beneficial. Its ease of use and efficient design have streamlined my daily tasks, allowing me to focus more on lesson planning and student engagement rather than on navigating technology. The responsive typing experience minimizes errors and saves time, while the trackpad and seamless connectivity ensure that I can quickly adapt lesson materials or access resources needed in the classroom. Conclusion In conclusion, the Magic Keyboard is a formidable accessory for the iPad M4, enhancing its capabilities to new heights. Despite its premium price tag, the ergonomic design, excellent typing experience, and added functionality make it a worthwhile addition for anyone looking to maximize their iPad's potential. Whether you're a professional, student, or casual user, the Magic Keyboard is likely to elevate your digital workflow significantly. Rating: 5/5

I’ve been using the Apple Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro 11-inch with my M4 device, and it has completely transformed how I use my iPad. From work to play, this keyboard brings a laptop-like experience that’s incredibly smooth and intuitive. The typing experience is excellent — the keys feel responsive and comfortable, with just the right amount of travel for long typing sessions. And the built-in trackpad with haptic feedback makes navigating iPadOS feel natural and precise, especially when editing documents or multitasking. I love the thoughtful design too. The floating cantilever hinge smoothly adjusts to multiple viewing angles, so I can find the perfect position whether I’m at my desk or on the couch. The USB-C connector for pass-through charging is a nice touch, keeping my iPad powered without blocking the main port. It also adds a bit of protection to the iPad with front and back coverage when closed, which gives me peace of mind when I’m on the go. The sleek black finish looks great and keeps the whole setup feeling premium. Overall, this Magic Keyboard has greatly boosted my productivity and made my iPad Pro feel even more versatile. Whether I’m typing up emails, joining video calls, or editing spreadsheets, it’s a fantastic accessory that’s totally worth it!

Hate the apple tax but having tried numerous off brand keyboards for the 6 ipads ive owned over the years, nothing beats the apple magic keyboard. Wasnt about to pay list price so I waited for an open box, and grabbed it. This latest version is a lot lighter than the last gen one. If youre going to type a lot, this is 100% worth it

This is an incredible case *IF* you're committed to using the iPad as a pseudo laptop ~ OR ~ okay using the iPad at times as a tablet in a naked and unprotected configuration. PROS: This case is up to par with what you've come to expect from Apple's lineup. The keys are crisp; the trackpad is fantastic; there are backlit keys (for the Pro only); and, when the case is on a flat surface, the keyboard is stable and comfortable to use. The case also has a very upscale, high-end look and feel to it. I compared this with the ESR laptop case and a few other competitors, and without a doubt, Apple has them beat in quality and functionality. The engineering of using a hinge-like stance (like a laptop) was ingenious, providing adequate structural support and saving space/footprint. This also gives you an additional USB-C port that can be used to power your iPad and keyboard, leaving the USB-C on the iPad available for additional plug-ins like HDMI or USB port converters. CONS: This case is heavy, bulky, and really intended for those using the iPad as a laptop most of the time. If you choose to take the iPad off the case and use it as an iPad is intended to be used at times, be prepared that the iPad will be completely exposed to scratches, dents, and cracks. To mitigate the risk of those issues, be prepared to spend an additional $70 like I did to purchase the MagEZ case, which only covers 3 of the 4 sides + the back of your iPad. The apple case also inhibits the use of a screen protector and leaves your Apple Pencil Pro unsecured (other than the magnet on the side). In my experience, this magnet was sufficient when the pencil was resting atop the iPad in the landscape position. However, once it was time to go and the case was closed and placed in my backpack, I found that more times than not my apple pencil pro was missing because it had fallen off. Lastly, I found the day-to-day use of opening and closing this case to be cumbersome. Rather than using one hand to flip it open, I had to use one hand to hold the bottom down while using the other hand to gently lift and open the top without tearing the cover material or touching the iPad's camera. CONCLUSION: You need to ask yourself: "Do I want my iPad to function like a laptop or as a tablet most of the time?" The answer to that question will determine if you should or should not buy this product. At the end of the day, I returned this case. I found that I enjoy using my iPad Pro m5 more as an iPad than a laptop most of the time. To accommodate having the ability to type/work on my iPad as a laptop in certain situations (e.g., while flying, traveling for work, needing to remain light and nimble) while still using the iPad as a protected tablet most of the time, I purchased a ZUGU Pro case, Logitcheck Keys-to-Go 2 (keyboard) + a Logitech pebble mouse. This set-up is perfect for me, since I use my iPad as a tablet 70%+ of the time, and only need to have laptop-like features 10-30% of the time. To the contrary, if your needs/wants differ, and you want to use the iPad more as a laptop, I would encourage you to buy this. I purchased this item from BestBuy as Open Box - Excellent Condition for $175. If you're in the market for one of these cases, I strongly urge you to purchase one in this condition from BestBuy rather than forking out $300, as I don't think it's worth the full price.

I recently upgraded to the new Apple Magic Keyboard for the iPad Pro M4, and it has completely transformed my experience. From the moment I unboxed it, the build quality was evident—sturdy, sleek, and stylish. The backlit keys offer a satisfying tactile response, making typing a joy, even in low-light environments. The floating cantilever design is a standout feature. It not only looks futuristic but also provides flexible viewing angles that suit every need, whether I'm typing up a report or streaming a movie. The USB-C pass-through charging is a thoughtful addition, keeping my workspace uncluttered while ensuring my iPad remains charged during use. Integration with the iPad Pro M4 is seamless. The trackpad is highly responsive, supporting all the multi-touch gestures I’ve come to love on my MacBook, making multitasking a breeze. The keyboard shortcuts enhance productivity, allowing me to navigate the iPadOS with ease. One minor gripe is the weight; it does add some heft to the iPad, making it less portable than I’d like for casual use. However, the trade-off is worth it for the enhanced functionality and laptop-like experience. Overall, the new Apple Magic Keyboard for the iPad Pro M4 is an exceptional accessory. It turns the iPad into a versatile workhorse, perfect for both professional tasks and leisure activities. It’s a bit of an investment, but for anyone serious about maximizing their iPad Pro’s potential, it’s well worth the price.
