Solid keyboard case for the iPad Pro M4 13-inch, upgraded from an older generation iPad Pro with the older design Magic Keyboard that was definitely showing its age after a couple years of solid use. I love how this new model has aluminum around the keyboard. I rarely use my iPad without this keyboard and can't recommend it enough for anyone that similarly uses their iPad with a keyboard.

It feels great and works flawlessly, as expected from Apple. It's just so expensive :'(

I've had these magic keyboards on 10, 11 and 13 inch ipads. They are simply the best. Love it on my 13in ipad even more. Almost no need for a computer whatsoever!
I truly have nothing bad to say about these keyboards. I've owned several other types over the years and none are even on the same playing field honestly. It's worth the money!

As someone who regularly uses the iPad 12.9 for both work and leisure, I’ve found the Apple Magic Keyboard to be a game-changer. When I first attached it to my iPad, I was immediately impressed by how seamlessly it connected—no Bluetooth pairing or fiddling required. The magnetic attachment is strong enough to keep everything secure, yet it’s easy to detach when I need to switch between tablet mode and laptop mode.
The typing experience is excellent. I’ve been able to type for hours without discomfort, and the key travel is just right—not too shallow, not too deep. I also love how quiet the keys are, which makes it perfect for working in quiet environments, like coffee shops or libraries. The trackpad is another major plus—it's large, responsive, and smooth, which makes navigating and multitasking feel natural, especially when I’m switching between apps or working with documents.
The design is sleek and feels premium, with the floating feature that allows the iPad to hover just above the keyboard at the perfect angle for both typing and viewing. The angle adjustment is smooth, and the build quality is rock-solid. It really feels like a true extension of the iPad rather than just a third-party accessory.
That said, there are some trade-offs. The weight and bulk that come with the Magic Keyboard are noticeable. The iPad 12.9 already has a bit of heft to it, and adding the keyboard makes it feel more like a full laptop, which isn’t always ideal when I’m on the go. I also can’t ignore the price—it’s definitely an investment, and while I feel it’s worth it for the convenience and quality, I can understand if it’s a stretch for some.
Overall, the Magic Keyboard has transformed the way I use my iPad, turning it into a more capable, portable workstation. If you're someone who relies on your iPad for productivity and don’t mind the extra weight and cost, I highly recommend it. But if you’re looking for a more budget-friendly option or need something lighter for occasional use, it might not be the best fit.

Apple Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro 13-inch (M4)
The build quality and functionality are excellent — it’s a premium keyboard that truly transforms the iPad into a laptop-like device.
That said, it’s heavier than my MacBook Air M2, and I often found myself detaching the iPad just to write more comfortably.
If you don’t already own a MacBook, this is a great way to get that full laptop experience. But if you do have a MacBook, I’d recommend going with the lighter Smart Folio instead; it’s a better complement to an existing laptop setup.
The price does seem to be a little too high for this keyboard as well.

Works seamlessly with the iPad pro. Unlike some other keyboards, it charges directly from the iPad instead of needing to be plugged into the wall separately. The iPad connects to the keyboard via magnet and even tilts for better viewing. Only issue is that the base could be a little heavier in order to prevent tipping backwards when it is sitting on your lap and you shift around.

Love how it holds the pro and I’m able to tilt it. Love how thin and lightweight it is.

The graphics are amazing on this new iPad Pro. I’ve had every version that’s been put out, and to be honest the one before this is the best. It’s simpler and easier to work with, this one is waiting for me to learn everything. I know that sounds silly, but costing this much money, it should be more self explanatory. The screen flashes on and off when I go to turn it off also.

Went for the "Reverse Oreo" Look on my Black IPad

I got this white Apple magic keyboard to go with my space black M4 iPad Pro for that perfect reverse Oreo look. For the last two iPads that I bought, I always went with the space gray color matched to black Apple keyboards.
Unfortunately, the black keyboard shows every single oil stain and dirt spec after only minimal usage and makes the outer cover look filthy. That and the key caps begin to take on a sheen after you've typed on the keyboard for several months. I was really tired of that look.
The white Apple magic keyboard tends to hide every day stains much better. The stains are easily removed with a wet wipe or a baby wipe but a little more elbow grease is required versus the black magic keyboard. I have zero regrets and get plenty of compliments from people seeing the now thinner black iPad Pro peek out from the silver and white cover.

Got a brand new iPad Pro, love it, but a friend highly recommended this keyboard. Got it and now I could never go back! It basically transforms my iPad into a small, thin computer. SO much easier typing on this than on the iPad itself, and the touchpad is Apple quality (i.e. superb.) Highly recommended.

I liked that it worked however its not heavy enough like the original version for the older ipad. While irs open and u touch the screen it feels like its gonna fall backwards so the bottom should of been built heavier and during testing shouldnt of passed to be sold but it works abit so just gona keep

Works well and offers a good typing experience. I don’t recommend for heavy academic writing but for smaller projects, it works great.

This case is an excellent evolution from the previous gen and my favorite feature is using the power port on the case which frees up the Thunderbolt port in the iPad Pro itself for other purposes - I have used an HMDI-USB C video capture dongle and an app called Orion to turn my iPad Pro into a screen to play my PS5 on while on vacation, I can connect audio interfaces allowing me to connect mics to the iPad and use Garage Band or Logic on the iPad for recording audio - and it’s all made possible without draining the battery thanks to this case. That’s why it’s worth the price tag.

I love the new Magic Keyboard for the iPad Pro 13-inch (M4). My sister even liked using it the other night. No complaints, except alittle bit pricey, but worth if for me.

Amazing Functionality, but Heavier Than Expected

The typing experience is fantastic. The trackpad is smooth and precise, making it easy to use the iPad like a proper laptop. That said, the one downside is the weight, it's heavier than expected. It’s not ideal to carry around in a purse or for extended handheld use, but it’s perfect for working at a desk or table.

This is for wife's iPad and she absolutely loves the features. Only minor concern is based on the iPad size and position on the keypad, it is easy to tip over when on your lap. Leaving on a level surface, fixes this minor problem.

Elegant, floating design that magnetically suspends the iPad — still one of the most visually striking setups on the market 1.
Excellent typing experience with responsive keys and satisfying travel, making long typing sessions a breeze 2.
Larger glass trackpad with improved responsiveness and gesture support.
Function keys and USB-C pass-through add real laptop-like utility 2.
Lighter and thinner than previous models, complementing the redesigned M4 iPad Pro perfectly

The Magic Keyboard is sleek, responsive, and a joy to type on. The keys feel smooth with just the right amount of feedback, making long typing sessions comfortable. It pairs instantly with Apple devices and the battery lasts impressively long. definitely a solid upgrade for anyone in the Apple ecosystem.
