Customers have good things to say about the Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro 13-inch, particularly praising its high-quality keyboard and ease of use. The design and lightweight nature are also appreciated by users. However, some customers feel the keyboard is a bit overpriced and have concerns about the exposed metal hinge design.

I liked that it worked however its not heavy enough like the original version for the older ipad. While irs open and u touch the screen it feels like its gonna fall backwards so the bottom should of been built heavier and during testing shouldnt of passed to be sold but it works abit so just gona keep

This case is an excellent evolution from the previous gen and my favorite feature is using the power port on the case which frees up the Thunderbolt port in the iPad Pro itself for other purposes - I have used an HMDI-USB C video capture dongle and an app called Orion to turn my iPad Pro into a screen to play my PS5 on while on vacation, I can connect audio interfaces allowing me to connect mics to the iPad and use Garage Band or Logic on the iPad for recording audio - and it’s all made possible without draining the battery thanks to this case. That’s why it’s worth the price tag.

Works well and offers a good typing experience. I don’t recommend for heavy academic writing but for smaller projects, it works great.

Was wanting to upgrade to the new iPad Pro, this new one really has everything that I was looking for and more. The picture quality of the screen is amazing.

The beauty of the thin iPad pro is that it is light and all screen. This takes all that and makes it a less capable MacBook Air with a better screen that costs more. Still one of the best keyboards around and one of the worst values.
After being out for 3 years you would think the price could come down. $350 is just too much. It should be no more than $200. The aluminum cheap feeling bc they have to balance weight.
This is a compromise product. I don’t know why I love it but I do but I can’t recommend it. Buy a sturdy case and a dedicated keyboard. Or consider a MacBook Air.

I haven’t bought a iPad since 34 years ago. When I bought this iPad, it was it was really fast and seamless. Great multitasking capabilities after upgrafing to iPad OS 26.

I upgraded from the 11” iPad Air M1 to the 13” iPad Pro M4 with the intention of also replacing the MacBook Pro I wasn’t often using. On the other hand, I use my iPad almost more than my phone. The Magic Keyboard is the piece that really brings this idea together nicely.
I’ll admit, I didn’t use the previous ‘soft touch’ models, however the new aluminum one feels like typing on a MacBook. The function row is great, the track pad is big and it just feels great to use.
My only ‘cons’ are that the iPad is a little top heavy so if it’s in your lap on the couch/bed/recliner, and can want to tip over if your hand isn’t on the wrist rest area. Also, the aluminum looks and feels great, but you have to be careful not to scratch either device with metal to metal contact.
All in all I’m very happy with my purchase and ultimately deciding to give up my MacBook in favor of this setup. I hope to see some more function from iPad OS 18, but am just as happy is that doesn’t happen.
Oh, one last thing. It’s very expensive for a keyboard. It’s still, just a keyboard. That isn’t functional wirelessly (the dream).

Elegant, floating design that magnetically suspends the iPad — still one of the most visually striking setups on the market 1.
Excellent typing experience with responsive keys and satisfying travel, making long typing sessions a breeze 2.
Larger glass trackpad with improved responsiveness and gesture support.
Function keys and USB-C pass-through add real laptop-like utility 2.
Lighter and thinner than previous models, complementing the redesigned M4 iPad Pro perfectly

I had the M1 iPad Pro with keyboard and when I upgraded to M4 with new keyboard I found that it was such a difference. The function key row is an awesome add and the keys themselves are much better than original. It is worth it if you want a keyboard for your iPad pro

The Magic Keyboard is a game changer for iPad Pro users. The build quality is premium and feels solid right out of the box. The keys are responsive and smooth—perfect for extended typing sessions. The trackpad is a great addition and integrates beautifully with iPadOS. Magnet attachment is strong, and the floating design adds a futuristic touch. It's pricey, but if you’re using your iPad for productivity, this is hands down the best accessory to get.

I wanted a case and keyboard to protect my ipad pro. Looked at other “cheaper” versions and decided this was my best option although quite more expensive. After using it for awhile, I see why all the reviews are so high. Excellent keyboard with great tactile feel. The screen positioning is limited but enough for my use. I had a 2nd gen pro and bought various cases and keyboards and probably spent more totally than the cost of this one. At least when I charge my ipad, it also charges the keyboard. Thats a plus!

For the price you can’t beat it. I have been using it for 2 months now and works great. It still working on the initial charge I gave it when I received it.
