I upgraded from the 11” iPad Air M1 to the 13” iPad Pro M4 with the intention of also replacing the MacBook Pro I wasn’t often using. On the other hand, I use my iPad almost more than my phone. The Magic Keyboard is the piece that really brings this idea together nicely. I’ll admit, I didn’t use the previous ‘soft touch’ models, however the new aluminum one feels like typing on a MacBook. The function row is great, the track pad is big and it just feels great to use. My only ‘cons’ are that the iPad is a little top heavy so if it’s in your lap on the couch/bed/recliner, and can want to tip over if your hand isn’t on the wrist rest area. Also, the aluminum looks and feels great, but you have to be careful not to scratch either device with metal to metal contact. All in all I’m very happy with my purchase and ultimately deciding to give up my MacBook in favor of this setup. I hope to see some more function from iPad OS 18, but am just as happy is that doesn’t happen. Oh, one last thing. It’s very expensive for a keyboard. It’s still, just a keyboard. That isn’t functional wirelessly (the dream).

The Apple IPad Magic Keyboard is a very useful alternative case that uses 3 powerful method to use the iPad. Providing useful opportunity better than having a heavy laptop to move around. Keyboard that are easy on the hand, Different viewable angles, able to use wired earphones and charge the battery at same time. And, providing protection to the iPad.

The Apple Magic Keyboard for the iPad Pro is pretty awesome. I love how the trackpad gestures make the touchscreen seem to blend in with the keyboard. The keyboard itself is incredibly responsive and well put together. I’ve tried 3rd party keyboards and they always seem to lack something. While I wish the keyboard could be engendered to sit more firmly on the lap, I wouldn’t want it the base to be any heavier. The premium feel of the keyboard screams quality and compliments the sleekness of my iPad Pro. I’d definitely recommend this keyboard.

Ok… enough said with the price, we all know it’s VERY expensive! But ok, we bought them and we will continue, it seems…. So let’s talk about the keyboard and not the price. The best trackpad ever on these type of keyboards!! What makes it great? The haptic feedback and the size! Apple continues to make the best trackpads, now doubt about it. The keys are really good as well, I like the travel and feel of it… and did I mention the function keys?? It’s cool that they are here! Like, I wouldn’t make a big deal on the previous ones… they weren’t there and I was like meh, but now that they are here it’s a welcome commodity. I also love that now we can fast charge on the bottom of the Magic Keyboard instead of on the iPad itself. So yeah, it’s the best one yet. BUT!!! I find the metal exposed hinge harsh, slippery and annoying! The previous models wouldn’t slip while placed vertically to open it…. Yes I know, perhaps I shouldn’t open it like this but I do 9 out of 10 times. I guess I’m gonna have to get used to setting it flat on a surface and open it like a MacBook Pro. But I would never have the need for this with the previous ones. So, yeah, is it a huge deal? Yes and no, I hate this issue but do I hate it enough to return it? No. I will keep it. Ni modo :/

This is honestly the best part of the new iPad Pro M4. This keyboard case is such a great upgrade over the previous version. The keys are just as good, but you get the added function row and the trackpad is larger and has haptic feedback. It’s everything I could have dreamed of. I especially like the added touch of aluminum on the palm rest. It really makes you feel like you are getting what you pay for. I only wish that the aluminum Carried over to the bottom of the keyboard. Now that would be an awesome touch. The rubbery material on the outside of the keyboard does tend to attract fingerprints, so I decided to put a skin on is right out of the box. My only gripe with this keyboard, which if I’m honest is nit picking, is that the newer hinge seems to have a little bit more wobble in t. I think it’s because the iPad is further back when open on this new keyboard. They did design the hinge to be flat and exposed on this model, but it may have needed a bit more tightness in the hinge. But, overall, It really doesn’t bother me. The keyboard is absolutely fantastic and is the best companion to the new IPad Pro. I honestly haven’t used my MacBook at all since I bought this keyboard with my new iPad. It truly is such a a great upgrade and was what made me want the new iPad. If you haven’t seen it in person, go check it out in stores and you will see what I mean.

Picked up the Magic Keyboard for my iPad Pro 13-inch from Best Buy and it’s been awesome. The typing feels really smooth, almost like a laptop, and the trackpad makes everything way easier to navigate. It snaps on instantly and the floating design looks super clean. Makes my iPad feel way more like a full computer when I need it. Definitely worth it if you use your iPad a lot

These Magic Keyboards are so much lighter than the last model, and it comes with the function key row with things like Esc, brightness adjustment, volume adjustment, lock screen, etc. It has addressed all the flaws of the iPad Pro 5th/6th gen Magic Keyboard.

I waited a very long time to buy this keyboard case because was not sure it would be useful as the primary use of the iPad is media consumption. Bought open box item and saved a significant amount of money. Works just as it is suppose to. The iPad can be used in portrait mode by resting it on the keyboard. Would not pay full price for my type of use, but at a large discount it was worth it.

The Magic Keyboard completely transforms the iPad Pro into a true laptop replacement. The typing experience is smooth, responsive, and feels like a MacBook keyboard. The trackpad is precise and works seamlessly with iPadOS gestures, making multitasking easier. The floating design is sleek and provides solid magnetic attachment. It’s on the heavier side, but the build quality and functionality make it worth it. Perfect for anyone who wants productivity on the go.

Lightweight easy to take with you. Keyboard stays in place as you type. Easy to attach iPad Pro. This is my first Magic Keyboard purchase and this keyboard does not disappoint. You can also adjust the angle of the keyboard stand, which is helpful and the feel of the keys when typing is smooth.

By far the best keyboard case Apple has made for the iPad. It’s sturdy and sleek. I’ve purchased 5 of them for all of our iPads for our business

Very sturdy, protects my iPad Pro, and is much easier to use than the keyboard on the screen!

I thought I was using a keyboard on an expensive laptop. Easy to use/type even with my fat fingers and the quality feel of the keyboard is amazing and the escape key is a significant plus. To me if feels much lighter and i really like the aluminum arm rest.

The Magic Keyboard is a game changer for iPad Pro users. The build quality is premium and feels solid right out of the box. The keys are responsive and smooth—perfect for extended typing sessions. The trackpad is a great addition and integrates beautifully with iPadOS. Magnet attachment is strong, and the floating design adds a futuristic touch. It's pricey, but if you’re using your iPad for productivity, this is hands down the best accessory to get.
