The Magic Keyboard for the 13” iPad Pro (M4) is incredibly well-built. The typing experience feels just like a high-end laptop, the trackpad is smooth and responsive, and the floating design is both sleek and functional. It instantly turns the iPad into a true productivity machine. My only complaint? The price. It’s definitely expensive—but if you’re going all-in with the iPad Pro, this keyboard matches its quality perfectly.

The build quality is fantastic as usual for an official Apple product. Having a charging port built into the cover allows the port on the iPad to be used for other devices which is fantastic. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because the tablet isn’t super well balanced if not sitting in a flat surface like a table, but it’s manageable.

Light weight and sturdy for a keyboard. Normally I have struggled to keep a keyboard connected but this one connects automatically and works perfectly.

I generally don’t like writing the reviews but after seeing so many paid or fake reviews I thought to do reviews to show the reality. Before buying apple keyboards I did tried 2 cheaper options from market and they all were highly rated based on feedback and trust me after paying more then $200 they all were junk even from good brands. This keyboard is little costly but trust me it’s worth paying the value and you would never regret. I absolutely love the Magic Keyboard. It’s sleek, comfortable to type on, and truly transforms the iPad into a functional laptop alternative. As someone who travels frequently for work, portability is key—and this setup has practically replaced my MacBook Pro. The ability to detach the iPad and instantly switch into handheld mode for video or casual browsing is incredibly convenient. It strikes a perfect balance between productivity and flexibility. Yes, it’s on the pricey side—but if you catch it on sale and are looking for a high-quality, portable laptop replacement, it’s well worth the investment. Highly recommend for professionals or frequent travelers looking to streamline their tech setup.

The Magic Keyboard significantly enhances the iPad experience, surpassing other keyboards I’ve used. Its trackpad provides a MacBook-like feel, making navigation seamless. However, its flexibility when not in use is a drawback. For example, when using the iPad as a reader, holding it in portrait mode is more comfortable, requiring detachment from the keyboard. Thankfully, the magnetic attachment allows for easy removal and reattachment. To ensure my iPad’s safety, I also use the Apple Smart Folio case, which connects magnetically for easy swapping. Another great feature is the seamless integration with my Mac. When both devices are linked, I can control the cursor on my Mac with the Magic Keyboard and the cursor on my iPad with my MacBook keyboard, without switching devices. Overall, the Magic Keyboard offers a superior typing experience, ease of use, and seamless integration with other Apple devices.

Though it can feel pricey, the design, integration and functionality of this product is great and its use is seamless

When I was looking for an iPad Pro case, I was having trouble distinguishing between whether or not I wanted something that was able to do Office related task and word document task or if I just wanted more of a reading type cover. When I chose the Apple magic keyboard for iPad Pro 13 inch M4, black, it was a great decision. The quality the finish the reliability are a step above and probably two and three steps above some of the other knock offs. The price tag is substantial, but in this case you really do get some value for what you pay for. Would not choose a different case.

This is the best add-on keyboard I’ve ever had. The convenience of a laptop or notebook in a tablet touchscreen is the most valuable feature of this device. Apple couldn’t have made a better idea come to life with this device. Add to that the ability to charge the keyboard and tablet, even the Apple Pro pen all together with one plug in and we can all agree it earns the name ‘Magic’ keyboard rather well.

High utility, sturdy and very compact. It’s a bit on the higher side of weight but that reflects a well built product. All for it !!

Sleek, elegant design, works well with iPad Pro 13 inch, love the backlit keyboard and the function keys, and let’s not forget the larger haptic trackpad with aluminum body. Overall it’s a fantastic piece of accessory that’ll elevate and maximize the value and use of your iPad Pro 13 inch. It’s truly magical, it deserves to be called Magic Keyboard!!! Love this ipad cover and keyboard. The keys are so much easier to use than the last one I had. Love the magnetized attachment of the ipad itself. Only issue is I wish the ipad pencil had a secure strap to use.

I did not realize the keyboard was also a cover. I did not give that to my husband right away with the IPad, so when he said I really want to look at the keyboards, because they are a cover, I surprised him again. It was a nice longer Christmas celebration!

Lets my iPad Pro 13 easily transition between being a tablet and a laptop. Functionality is flawless and is easy to detach.

Magic is right. This thing is beautiful, strong, works perfect. Has a nice tilt function.

Love the magic keyboard. It is heavy duty, holds a charge for a super long time and very responsive to the keystrokes. It would be nice if there was a way to swivel the iPad so that it can collapse on itself, which would allow you to lay the iPad flat in your lap and continue working. Right now there’s no way to lay the keyboard flat without removing the iPad from the magnetic holder. That’s my only complaint. Otherwise it is phenomenal.

Apple Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro 13-inch (M4) The build quality and functionality are excellent — it’s a premium keyboard that truly transforms the iPad into a laptop-like device. That said, it’s heavier than my MacBook Air M2, and I often found myself detaching the iPad just to write more comfortably. If you don’t already own a MacBook, this is a great way to get that full laptop experience. But if you do have a MacBook, I’d recommend going with the lighter Smart Folio instead; it’s a better complement to an existing laptop setup. The price does seem to be a little too high for this keyboard as well.

I cannot speak on this product enough. The keyboard is designed to seamlessly turn your m4/m5 iPad Pro into a full functioning laptop. It gives you the touchscreen experience with the keyboard functionality of a laptop. 10/10
