I have an older truck without a auxiliary port or Bluetooth on the radio system. I wanted to play the music on my iPhone thru the radio and this was just the ticket. I live in a rural area so I have lots of channels available and this unit works great.

I drive a pretty old car and there was no place to use an aux cord/usb cable to play music on my phone, so I always just resorted to the radio. I was looking for a transmitter to be able to play music with my phone and I found this one. All in all, for the price it gets the job done. Some of the pros include, easy setup, ability to change the station and all in all simple to use. Now for the cons. The biggest I had with this product is that the connection/audio will get crackly at times. When this happens, you'll have to reconnect the cord. If this item didn't have such issues with bad audio at times and losing connection, it would be an easy 4 or 5 stars.

Not only does this play music from my iPhone through an FM channel on my radio but it charges the phone too! Gets some static but it doesn't bother me too much. I think this is a good product especially since replacing my entire radio system would be much more expensive.

Bought this for my Mother to use in her older SUV. It generally works well and she understands how to use it, which means it's not that complicated. Every once in a while the music will get staticy, but that's to be expected with something like this.

I used this in my 2006 Hunydai when I drove to Philly from Florida. I was able to listen to all the downloaded episodes of NPRs Serial and loved taking a break from music.:-). Had to change the station often, but that’s all.:-)

It does what it says and it does it well! Music is loud and clear, no static unless you have the volumes on the phone and radio at complete opposites. AND it charges the phone, can't beat it!

Wanted to find something I could use to listen to music through my car speakers with my iPhone or iPod. This device works with iPhone but need to find an adapter to connect my iPod. It works great with iphone.

Works better in my gf's (purchased for her) 95 honda with broken antenna than in my 05 GMC with good antenna. Could be a little easier to change the default channels but other than that she is satisfied and that's what matters!

I drive a BMW and getting a new stereo is super expensive but this device allows me to play my music in my car. It works pretty great and I haven't had a problem so far

This duel charger and transmitter is wonderful! It charges my phone super fast and plays my music really clear on FM stations! Great price as well!

Got this for my daughter as a gift. Her car is a 2007, and has nowhere to plug in her phone, nor does it have Bluetooth. She uses it all of the time to listen to music from her iPhone, and she says it has been working great. She doesn't seem to have any clarity issues. The inline transmitter control is a little bulky and needs somewhere to sit, while plugged into the phone and the charger port. One suggestion is to use heavy duty Velcro to attach somewhere to the dash or radio, especially if you have the phone mounted to a vent or top of dash. All in all, a satisfactory purchase and a lot less expensive than a new car!

I purchased this for 2 of my daughters for Christmas. One of them just wanted a car charger with a longer cord. As we explain this to the salesman, he recommended this so that she could play music while she was charging. When he mentioned that it reminded us that our other daughter couldn't connect her phone to the stereo system in her car because her auxiliary port is damaged. So we bought 2. They work great! Now everyone can listen to the music they love and charge their phones at the same time. Awesome!

I have an older car that doesn't have an auxiliary jack so I have to use a transmitter that plugs into my cigarette lighter and streams through a fm radio station. I have bought plenty of these over the years and this one does work fairly well. The only issue I've had is it can be easy to bump it and it change to one of 2 of the "favorite" stations it can save. Which may be on the complete other end of the radio stations than the one you were using to stream the music through so then it takes a while to scroll back through all the stations to get back to the original. Other than that I like it alot because it charges at the same time as playing in the same jack.

Very good audio quality once you get to the right frequency. The charging is amazing, I think it even beats the original iphone charger & cable.

For older model cars with no plug connection this FM transmitter works fine. a little distorted with some interference in the city but on the open highway works great

The manufacturing seems about what you would expect from other insignia products, not amazing but definitely works. No problems with the charging or radio capability as of yet!

Works well. Haven't had any problems. Satisfied with the product. Easy way to charge your phone and be able to listen to music from your iPhone at the same time.
