I bought a replacement for my old apple laptop. My son suggested I try the iPad, which I took for a few days and tried out, but decided, since I'm quite old & set in my ways, to return the ipad and purchase the laptop instead. Fast, great display, good connectivity. Migration from older model to new model or adding an iPad if you already own an iPhone is very easy. Beware of Best Buy trade-in. If ordered online the only way to return your tradein is direct at a FedEx office. The Best Buy stores do not take the trade unless purchased from the store.
