This by far is better than the first gen remote. When I got this I definitely enjoyed how durable like the first gen. I still get to enjoy the touch capabilities of the 2 nd gen remote . Definitely will be getting a few more for our other devices

Sleek, stylish… but expensive lol. Also every so often you have to do a button hold combo to get the volume buttons to work again but all in all, it’s nice.

It does exactly what you would expect it to. Syncing is really easy.

I bought multiple of the latest generation remotes to operate older model Apple TV boxes and to replace their original remotes. I could not get mine to work on a 1st generation Apple TV though. LoL that Apple TV box also got replaced. Appears to be very durable after many drops. Remains charged for multiple weeks? Connects well and easily with external speaker and TV systems.

Apple finally got it right. It never should have been black and skinny. I lost the old one all the time in the Living Room This one is SILVER and thicker - hard to loose. It also has much more functionality. Easier to quickly Turn On/Off and navigate. 4 stars for value, because it is a little pricey. It is cheaper when you bundle with a new Apple TV box. No brainer!

When I saw the new remote in Best Buy, I KNEW I had to have it! I love everything about it! Easy to use, comfortable larger size AND the color of the device so it is easy to spot on the coffee table. (I was forever always looking where I had mis-placed the small black controller). Do yourself a favor and pick up this remote!

Works seamlessly with my Apple TV system. It also works with my TV (turning on/off and volume). I charged it with the standard plug and stays charged for months and months. LOVE THIS!

This is a great remote, and it is so much easier to hold and utilize versus the very thin almost wafer like remote that the Apple TVs used to have. I actually bought these from my current Apple TV just to not use the remote anymore. It’s worth it.

Excellent Remote control for Apple TV. It does require that you familiarize your self with the sensitivity of the selection wheel. Once that is done it is smooth sailing

The original remote lost the power button. Never dropped it on the floor, so no clue how it happened. It's disappointing, but the new remote is working as intended.

My other remote broke, picked this up as a replacement, works great, simple to set up.

This is a pretty good remote, I’m using it for my 2020-2021 Apple TV and it works perfectly, connected within a second. USB-C is also great. And I LOVE the battery life on it. I’ve used past versions for 1-2 years without charging. Hopefully this is the same or even better.
