The cover is very nice in it's quality, however it lacks the total protection of the iPad in favor of slim design. leaving the back and sides open to damage. If it was about 1/2 the price then the price to value would be there.

This cover is beautiful, compact and easy to use. However, I returned it because there are two fixed points for standing the iPad and I generally prefer something in between the two. If you can live with the stand points, this is a great buy.

Overall I would recommend this cover, it is of course very slim, but does a very nice job protecting the screen while providing a sturdy stand and best of all the screen-side functions as a nice fingerprint removal tool. I was pleasantly surprised by the magnet strength. When the stand is folded up I can hold the iPad by only the cover. Unlike the non-leather cases this one does not show fingerprints on the outside of the case very quickly. And if someone with dirty fingers does happen to pick it up and leave marks they can be cleaned off with a papertowel, water and a dab of handsoap.

The smart cover works great in conjunction with a clear plastic skin I bought from ENKI. The two in tandem work very well. The cover alone leaves the back of your iPad vulnerable to scratches and dents. That being said, don't get the cream one! It gets very dirty very quickly and is difficult to clean. I've got a few stains in my leather and they will not come out. The light color shows EVERYTHING. Buy a dark leather one, or buy the synthetic that should be easier to maintain.

I picked this case up yesterday at my local Best Buy during launch day of the IPad 2! The case is very sturdy, which I did not expect considering the magnets Apple used. The case is soft to the touch, and is very thick and rich leather! On the opposite side of the cover it has a microfiber material which can also be used to wipe the screen, which is also nice!

I bought a "smartcover" off Amazon for half the price, and got have of what I expected. Broke down and went to BestBuy and got the real-deal, strong magnets, not a sheath to slide the iPad into with wimpy magnets on the flip cover.

Made of high quality soft leather. looks great. like how it turns off and on the Ipad when you open/close it. would have preferred a darker color leather, as this light color is going to eventually get dirty......and it will stain easily. but right now it looks great.

This cover is great but I wish I had bought a dark color. This one gets dirty easily.
