Works well as hands free stand, and seems to have fair protection. Not sure if drop guard is the intended function - think there are better things for that. the camera opening blocks half the array, the flashlight is covered.

I once saw someone criticizing the iPad as just an "over sized iPhone". Which confused me. Isn't that exactly what all tablets are? I can only imagine that's exactly what the Galaxy Tab is; an over-sized Galaxy Note, which is an over-sized Galaxy S. ANYWAY, this is NOT just an over-sized iPhone: -EVERYTHING is smooth. This thing has so much RAM and processing power that swiping anything on this screen is like butter; ZERO lag. The 120hz screen definitely aids that i'm sure. -Doesn't get hot, no matter how long i'm on it or what i'm doing. The most graphics intensive programs like the drawing ones will get the bottom of the Pad a little warm but that's it. -DRAWING/SKETCHING/ANYTHING WITH THE APPLE PENCIL. This is seriously one of the most amazing experiences i've ever had with a piece of technology and i'm almost positive I won't find that anywhere else. -If you have an iPhone, you can use its LTE signal to provide internet to your iPad, even without turning mobile hotspot on. -Camera is on point, though I don't use it much. -Switches between known networks better than my iPhone X does.

Good value for this open box item; still pricy however; (it is still an Apple product...). I found this open box item back in March; ordered it, and had it shipped to my home. Arrived on time and with no damage in shipment. Good job BB !

Not as nice as the older leather ones

I loved the leather folio cases for my old iPad Pro. This is sueded on the inside cover but more of a plastic feel on the edges on the back part. Plus the magnets that are supposed to keep it closed are weak. Also, just 2 colors? For $100 there should be choices.

I really enjoyed the product over all the only thing I would of liked to see was an apple logo cutout I on the back but other then that it's much better then the past one from apple. Just need to cut that price it's a little steep for what it is.

Case options for the Gen 3 iPad Pro 12.9 are very limited. I’m glad I went with this one though. It’s sleek and doesn’t add bulk to the slimness of the iPad, which is exactly what I was looking for. If you’re looking for something with lots of drop protection though, this isn’t it.

I was a little skeptical about buying after reading some reviews but I'm glad I did. There wasn't many choices for the redesigned IPAD cases so I decided on the Apple case. It's works perfectly and it protects the front and back of my IPAD. It's a bit pricey but I do like it's slim profile.

It was hard to cough up $100 to cover my iPad screen. But it works great - not bulky at all. I wanted to keep a light and elegant feel and this does it. Sets up easily to prop the iPad for easy viewing, too. But expensive.

Great magnetic case, Easy to attach. My only complaint is that it doesn’t protect the sides. So if your drop it and it falls on the sides, Bam! There’s goes your expensive iPad Pro lol!

It's a good cover and provides protection. It's not really easy to fold back , it's clumsy. To try and use as a tablet. Other than that its a good product. Depends on your usage.

Good upgrades but ditch Face ID on the iPad

This is my 7th iPad purchase between family, work, and upgrades. Over all the upgrades from the original 12.9 are good. The screen does look better. Over all everything else works as it should. My only issues is the Face ID. I love it on my phone but it is not the best here. With my iPhone I am always looking right at it which works great. On the iPad though my face is not close enough consistently for it to work. Most times the iPad is set up on a table and I am not with distance for it to work properly which takes away from the ease of use. Yes, it is a minor thing but for this price and given the ease of use of Touch ID in past model I much prefer that.

I use an iPad for both business and pleasure. Normally, I have the 10.5 and was a bit worried about the size of a 12.9 and whether it would be as portable and manageable as the smaller version. I have been using it for about a month and have come to realize just how powerful and portable it truly is. Used with the Magic Keyboard, it is indeed as powerful and more portable than my MacBook Pro. Highly recommend this device for anyone who wants computer-like power and the flexibility and speed of an IOS device. I also purchased the Apple Pencil and it works great with the iPad.

This is a great folio to cover the front and back of your iPad. It is magnetic, so easy to take off if you want to so you can clean it up or anything else, plus it leaves the buttons uncovered for easy use.

I much prefer the Apple covers for their products, for some reason they tend to just fit a little bit better. You do have to pay a premium for them though.

Works very well as expected from Apple, the only thing I was surprised about is that the case does not cover the sides of the iPad, but that is probably because the new Apple Pencil sticks to the side of the iPad magnetically

I needed something to cover my iPad. So I bought an iPad cover. It covers the iPad just like a cover should cover things. Of course, it’s also an apple product so it cost a bagillion dollars but whatevs.

Love this folio case but it leaves the sides exposed which worries me about bumping my iPad against a surface on accident. Over all it’s simple and great. Kinda overpriced tho

The Smart Folio is the only way to go. It's definitely a 5 STAR item! It protects and allows easy access. lesser expensive alternatives just didn't seem to offer the benefits or the protection. Excellent quality!
