It works without a glitch and would recommend this product

The old cover left a film on the screen, didn't cover all the screen when closed and fell apart within a year. The Apple-Smart Folio is great. It fits perfectly and no more film on the screen!

Same price at the Apple store but because of availability at the time decided to buy at Best Buy. Fits the IPad Air 10.9 perfectly.
