Price to High to Justify

Except I ended up returning it because in 2018 I personally feel that $80 is too much to spend on a CD drive unless you still have a ton of CDs and DVDs. There's a good chance I might find myself needing this in the future and if I do then I will probably have to purchase it again. To keep it simple only buy this accesory if you are certain you need it because $80 is a lot to spend on something just to have it in case.

Works really well

Only reason it doesn't have five stars is because I don't really need it nearly as often as I thought I would. We really have moved away from the era of cd and dvd's

Watch those DVDs on your modern mac

This is really solid and does not feel flimsy like other plastic ones on the market. I have this plugged into a 2013 MacPro that I use as an entertainment center in order to watch old DVDs for movies not on Amazon Prime.
