Does the job in reading some archaic discs I have in my office. Burns to CD's - yes people still do that :-) I wish it had a longer cord and Blu-ray connectivity. Works fine - just average in my opinion.

I have a Apple MacBook and needed this software to use with my Mac book. I can say I am satisfied with the price and product since it is an Apple product.

This external drive was difficult to understand how it worked. Instructions not very good. Once we figured it out we were pleased that we were able to look at DVDs. Other laptops (non-Apple) have internal DVD drives. All Apple products are pricey.

Works well with my Mac. I didn't have a problem with any of my DVDs. I still would like to see if I can create DVDs from personal pictures.

it's an apple product, so it works. if you happen to not like apple products, your loss. not sure why you'd try to buy something else, unless you're a clown.

I really enjoy this product! I love having CDs for my music and it downloads them fairly quick onto my itunes. Would buy again in a heartbeat

I had a scratched dvd that won’t play in regualr DVD player or other brand dvd device but it played well in this dvd external drive....loved it

Solid external drive. The read and write speeds are fast enough. The burn speeds are nice and fast. The only down side is that the usb cable is permanently attached to the external drive. The design is very similar to that of the Apple laptops power block. They fray easily.

I purchased in order to load CD's onto MacBook Pro. It is not as fast as I had hoped but all external drives seem to be slower than somebuilt-ins.

It works as it should. But it needs a genuine Apple USB-A to USB-C adapter to get power on the newer laptops.

Works great! Does exactly what i need it to do. Don't know why Apple doesn't have CD drives in their units. They're not totally obsolete. Yet. :-D

This was purchased to use with my new computer which did not come with an installed cd/dvd drive. Works as expected. No problems so far.

I have used this drive repeatedly and it has worked perfectly every time. It did not require any setup on my MacBook Pro. I highly recommend this item.

I used the portable CD drive and it worked fine. I just wish that it was still included as part of the computer.

Initially we were sold a junk hard drive that didn't work that was an open item piece. I was able to return it and get a new one at same cost. Excellent customer service. Got this so all I would need to do in the future is update individual pieces and not the entire unit.

The people AT Apple Always looking for ways to get that extra buck out of the sucker.Make the burner an option.That got someone a little more in their Paycheck.Ha,Ha..... The SuperDrive works as intended.

I was able to transfer all of my files safely. We picked it up easily in this COVID crazy time. Very pleased!

Great computer and easy to navigate . I especially like the touch screen.

Read negative reviews, but my experience was positive. Took it out of box, plugged it, turned on iMAC, it works.
