The new addition of the app store to the Apple TV has really brought real usability to the Apple TV series. I use the Plex app extensively and no longer have a need to turn on the PS3 we used to use for our Media Center in addition to the old Apple TV.

Really easy to set up and understand. Still have yet to use to full potential but hopefully it will be a useful platform for TV over the next couple of years My only gripe is that there is still not an app for Amazon Prime which has been promised ...

AirPlay from iphone6 works well. Using AirPlay within my sling player app shows a picture with an incorrect aspect ratio but mirroring my iPhone with AirPlay allows the sling player picture to have the correct aspect ratio. MGO movies do not work with AirPlay. Apple apps all work well with AirPlay. Using the apple remote takes practice. Most tasks are done by scrolling.

Purchased this for my son for Christmas and we couldn't be happier. We are already Apple users and have a 3rd generation Apple TV in on our main TV but this product just blew us away. No super complicated hair taring out set up on Christmas, all we had to do is make sure that Bluetooth was on, on his iPad and set it next to the Apple TV, it brought all the Wifi settings and Apple ID over on it's own. After that it was just entering the Apple ID password and connecting it to the family home shared library (on my computer). We already have family sharing so all of the movies and TV shows we have purchased are available along with the 200 we have in our shared library. We had games going in no time and even dad (who is not much into video games) was playing tennis and bowling. We will be getting the 64gb version to replace our 3rd generation no question.

Ive owned every generation of Apple TV and I have to say it's come a long way. The newest generation will not disappoint any hardcore Apple fanboy or someone new to Apple products. I looks amazing and is easy to use as all Apple products tend to be.

This is such a great upgrade form the last Apple TV. So much cleaner interface, Siri is magical and the App Store is great. Highly recommend this.

The Apple TV 4th Generation looks great, and works perfectly. I love how it works so well with my iPhone and how the remote works is very nice. I bought the wrist strap to help me know which end is the lower end not really to play games but I like it allot. Lots of great features and apps to download and works very well. Unlike other smart blu-ray players or other devices that have apps and stores this gets regular updates and keeps it running smoothy. I syncs with my iPhone and I can easily see my pictures, listen to my music, and watch my iTunes movies. It's expensive but totally worth while . It plays games, it has wide support from different companies and works well , what else would you want? Sadly Amazon, Vudu, and Ultra Violet don't want to support this which is a shame. Amazon is playing favorites, but not sure why Vudu and Ultra Violet don't work but honestly I don't use those apps often so it's not a big loss. I used to use my Sony Blu-ray player in the bedroom to watch netflix and hulu, and now this user experience and smooth operation make that feel ancient.

Connects to WiFi for streaming and sharing with other devices. Uses iCloud to access music, home videos, pictures, movies etc. Comes standard with Netflix and Hulu Plus. The AirPlay feature from my cell phone, tablet or laptop is by far my favorite

I had the older version of Apple TV. To be honest I didn't use it that much. Being the gadget person I am, I decided to get the newer version. It definitely has a lot more use than the old one! I use it quite a bit - to stream my PC to, for Netfix and for some of the other apps. I think it's the best streamer on the market. The new controller is nice, although the touchpad is a bit sensitive. I often use my Apple phone as the controller. Using the Apple TV I can see why you could ditch cable, but the wife would find it a bit too difficult right now. If it were me alone, I would definitely cut the cable. The Apple TV works great - was easy to set up, and does exactly what it's supposed to do. The apps for it are great. I have played some of the games - they are pretty good - nothing great I would say. All in all very happy with the purchase.

Got this for my fiance as a Christmas gift and he absolutely loves the newest version. Set up was super easy and may perk with the apps that are available. Will put the Apple tv to good use.

We disconnected out satellite TV after test driving this for a month. Easy to use, interface easily with phones /iPads ( including pics, movies, music) loads of fun apps for kids and adults ( single and multi player). Super simple, plug and play.

Coming from the Original Apple TV, for my uses, the biggest feature I appreciate is the remote. The entire interface and Remote Experience is flawless for me. I have an iPhone 6 Plus and a Mac Pro. When my sister send videos of her boys, The Air Play from my Mac to my TV (Through The 3rd generation Apple TV) is perfect HD Quaility. Also using Siri and talking, verses typing passwords, runs smooth. I choose to hard wire for flawless streaming.

Faster than the previous model. The App Store is a nice added feature.

Extremely impressive. The remote's new touch screen interface is great for fast forwarding, etc. The voice control (accessed through the remote) works well for finding music and finding episodes of TV. The remote includes volume buttons as well. This is by far the best smart TV device I've owned so far. (Multiple Rokus, Chromecast, previous Apple TV, Amazon Fire). It is also the most expensive, which is the only con I can think of so far. It also understandably does not play Amazon content, which is a downer but not unexpected.

I love the new version of the Apple TV. I had an older generation apple TV and the wifi would no longer work. I went to best buy and bought this apple TV and have had no issues. I love the upgraded remote which to me is so much easier to use. My favorite part is the Siri on the remote that you can just speak and tell your Apple TV what you want. I have had little to not problems with my apple TV and I have had it now for two months. It was super easy to set up (did it through my phone) and easy to work every time I decide to use it. I would highly recommend this generation of the Apple TV to anyone that was thinking about buy one.

I purchased the Apple TV to see if it was better than Roku 3. We have apple products already so it was easy to operate. I like the remote for the Apple TV better for typing and navigating menus. I like that you can program the Apple TV remote volume button to control your tv/audio equipment. The only downside to the Apple TV for me is they do not have a TWC app.

I am very excited to see all of the apps that come out for Apple TV. Now that they have opened Apple TV up to third party developers, the new apps that come out will constantly add new value to this product. The new remote is very easy to use.

First off, don't bother with the 64GB unless you Know you Need it, I have both and cant even imagine filling up my 32GB. This thing just runs apps, it doesn't store anything. We got rid of the satellite tv that grew to $160 a month and now just use their internet version for $30 a month along with OTA, its all we need and it actually has many benefits like watching past TV episodes without the need of a DVR. Plus if you are an Apple family you can access ITunes, Photos, IPhone, etc right on your TV. Big upgrade over 3rd Generation

It was so easy to get this set up! Our dish was removed during a roofing project and my husband was missing his movies, went and got this and it is great! Made him happy and me happy (didn't have to listen to a crabby man)
