I recently bought the 3rd generation 4K TV with 128GB storage from Best Buy, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. The latest model offers fantastic picture quality and smooth performance, whether connected via Wi-Fi or Ethernet. I actually just purchased a new TV, and I wish I had known about the Apple TV earlier — its outstanding performance truly enhances the viewing experience. It integrates seamlessly with my existing Apple ecosystem, especially my LG G4, making everything feel so cohesive and effortless. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this purchase and excited to enjoy many hours of quality entertainment. If you're considering upgrading, I highly recommend this model and the Apple TV for an exceptional home entertainment setup!

“The Apple TV 4K 128GB is a technological masterpiece. From the moment I turned it on, I was impressed by its speed, thanks to the A15 Bionic chip that makes everything super smooth. The picture quality is simply stunning, with support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+ bringing out every detail on the screen. Plus, the sound with Dolby Atmos takes the experience to a whole new level, making it feel like you’re in a movie theater. What I loved the most is how seamlessly it integrates with other Apple devices. Using my iPhone as a remote or accessing my iCloud photos and videos directly is so convenient. It’s also great as a HomeKit hub, making smart home control effortless. Overall, this is a premium device worth every penny. If you’re looking for the best streaming experience and want something that perfectly fits into the Apple ecosystem, this is it. Highly recommended!”

My old TV system was painfully slow—apps lagged, and streaming looked rough. Upgrading to Apple TV was a total game changer. It’s blazing fast, razor-sharp, and a breeze to use. With Siri and phone control, it feels like the future of TV.

This little black box solved our daily evening dilemma of trying to get our “smart” TV to play shows. After finally getting kids to bed, all we wanted to do was try and catch a quick grownup show, but we would end up spending between 10-15min just trying to get a show started on any given streaming platform on our Sony Bravia 4k TV. We’d often have to restart the TV just to get it to work, and we would end up just giving up sometimes because it was so buggy. I finally gave in and picked up the Apple TV, and I don’t know why I didn’t do it sooner! I know that sounds cheesy, but seriously, it completely changed our TV experience. The UI is so fast and smooth; shows start up immediately now. Also, you can calibrate the color, sound, frame rates, etc… through the Apple TV. Now our TV looks better than it ever did with calibrated colors, and we have our sound bar and TV all running on the Apple TV remote. This thing just works. If you have “smart” TV that sucks, I would highly recommend picking up an Apple TV.

The quiet king of home entertainment

The Apple TV is one of those products you don’t realize you needed until you live with it — and then you can’t imagine going back. This isn’t just a streaming box. It’s a curated, frictionless experience in a world full of bloated smart TV interfaces and sluggish apps. Everything is fast. Instantly responsive. No lag, no stutter, no weird app crashes. You click — it happens. Picture quality is phenomenal. With Dolby Vision content, the image is rich, balanced, and cinematic without being overcooked. Motion handling is smooth and natural. Colors look intentional, not artificial. And when paired with a good sound system, Dolby Atmos support turns your living room into an actual theater — not a gimmick, the real thing. What really separates Apple TV, though, is how thoughtful it feels. The interface is clean and elegant. No ads screaming at you. No clutter. No algorithmic chaos. It respects your time and your eyes. You spend your evening watching content, not fighting menus. The integration with the Apple ecosystem is seamless in the best way: AirPlay just works. Audio sync is perfect. Your phone becomes a keyboard when you need it. The remote is minimal, solid, and finally good enough to stand on its own. And performance? It’s wild how fast it is. Even after extended use, it never slows down. It never “ages.” It feels just as snappy months in as it did on day one — something most smart TVs fail at spectacularly. Bottom line: Apple TV doesn’t try to impress you with gimmicks. It wins by being quietly excellent. It’s the smoothest, most refined way to experience streaming content, and once you use it, every other platform feels like a compromise. If you care about picture quality, sound, speed, and an interface that doesn’t insult your intelligence — this is it.

I am a Android and Windows User. I am very tech centric and honestly do not like Apple products, that is more of a morality issue for me [Right to Repair is very important for me]. The thing is I just can't argue when people say the AppleTV is the best streaming box, because just flat out, this device is fantastic. The speed and simplicity is great, and the device itself is extremely overpowered for what is does [This means it will last AWHILE]. I do home theater installs and I run into 6-8 year old AppleTVs that still work fine [not 4k but they still are snappy and work]. From what I have seen these devices have little to no ADVERTISING. In conclusion this device is the best device, to date, for streaming. You can't beat the user experience and that is coming from a user that can't use a chunk of the cool features because I own ZERO other Apple devices. This device is well worth the price tag. Helpful tips: -Have your Apple Account ready. If you purchase this at Bestbuy there is usually a mini Apple Help Desk where associates would be more than happy to help get that sorted. -BUY A HDMI, the Apple TV does not come with one. Do NOT overspend on a cable. Ignore the fancy marketing. Get a cable that is 4K compatible. At the end of the day copper is copper. -Lastly I hate the line keyboard the device starts with. In the settings there is a way to swap it. This is the first thing I did and I recommend you do the same.

This latest iteration of Apple's set top streaming device is its best...by far. The A15 Bionic processor and the new Siri Remote make this the fastest, most feature laden and easiest to use and control Apple TV yet. But to get the most out of it you would be wise to check out some of the really excellent reviews of this device on YouTube. One of the best I've found is this one on a channel called "Digital Trends": "Apple TV 4K Features You Aren't Using (but should)". So many cool, useful, powerful features...this video will tell you exactly how to take advantage of them. Another tip: When watching a video, if you missed a line of dialog simply use Siri to replay the last 15 seconds by engaging Siri and saying, "What did he/she/they say?". Siri will turn on CC and replay the last fifteen seconds of the video, then turn off CC and play the remainder of the video.

Perfect addition to our home theatre

When putting together a home theatre setup for our new home, I went to Best Buy in search of a receiver and in-ceiling speakers. I chose a fairly basic system with JBL AV receiver and Sonance speakers. The Home Theatre Premium Designer there recommended I consider adding the Apple 4K Streaming Device, based on his own personal experience. I’ve used other TV “sticks” before, but since our house was wired with ethernet connectivity, I opted for the 128GB model which includes an ethernet jack. He added that the Apple 4K would help, given the fact that I was running a long 25-ft HDMI 2.1 cable from my receiver to the TV. I installed the Apple 4K ahead of time as I was having the Geek Squad do the actual install of the system so that I could have a head start using the device. They did a fantastic job with the install by the way! Removing the Apple TV from the box, I was immediately impressed with the quality, especially the sleek metal remote. I love how the system integrates into the Apple sphere of products and since we have Apple iPhones, the available features like displaying photos and Apple Music are even better and seamless in operation. It might just be my imagination, but I swear even the image on our TV seemed better with the Apple 4K. Naturally, it takes some getting used to figuring out and navigating the menu system, but Apple makes it simple with easy-to-understand configuration options to customize menu options and settings. The menu for day-to-day operation is clean and simple and everything integrates perfectly with my home theatre receiver. I love the fact that the remote will fast-forward through commercials on our streaming library of recorded TV shows,, which I discovered by accident. I don’t know what took me so long to get the Apple 4K, but probably the fact that it’s more expensive than most options. However, I firmly believe it’s definitely worth the higher price, especially if you already use Apple smartphones and/or tablets. I am really glad that Best Buy steered me into considering the Apple 4K into our home theatre system.

    Subtle but True Upgrade...

I like the price, the subtle but noticeable upgrade. It feels a bit more snappy than my 2021 4K 64GB version, but I DON'T like the cheap feeling and less weighty feeling of this 3rd Gen. I'm nitpicking there but it just feels like a toy compared to the 2021 version. Enough about that! The introduction of the A15 chip, HDR10+ & Thread Support is very much welcome! My wife noticed a slight improvement in picture quality, I believe her.. as I did see a minor improvement in watching Media. Overall, if you have the previous version, honestly... Don't get this if you're happy with it, unless you want the latest from Apple. It's not breaking the bank, but it's also not necessary if you're satisfied with the 2021 version. Also if you must get the 3rd Gen, get the one with Ethernet as I did.

This has been one of my best purchases. You get great use out if this product especially for the price. Over the past few months of use, this thing has been super smooth, not laggy AT ALL, super sleek, and gives my room a cool vibe. The Siri Remote has been so useful especially when searching for things, or asking to play a song etc. This product is also super easy to travel with, so I don’t have to sign into programs on random TVs in hotels, and other houses I vacation too. With months of use it still seems as if brand new, it’s everything I’ve ever wanted in a Tv streaming box, it connects with my Apple ID effortlessly and is super easy to set up, this is great product and I would 10/10 recommend and buy again for another device.

The Apple TV box (128Gb) has completely upgraded our home streaming experience. It’s super fast, smooth, and the interface is clean and easy to navigate. Whether we’re watching Netflix, Disney+, or Apple TV+, everything loads quickly with zero lag or buffering. The remote deserves a shoutout too. The new design feels great in the hand — solid and simple. The touchpad is precise, and I love the dedicated power and mute buttons (finally!). Siri integration makes it even easier to find shows, launch apps, or ask for the weather. We also use it with HomeKit and AirPlay — casting from our iPhones or iPads is seamless. If you’re already in the Apple ecosystem, it fits right in and just works. Yes, it’s pricier than some other streaming devices, but the performance and quality are worth it. No ads, no weird menus — just a premium, reliable experience. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a smooth, powerful streaming device!

Very premium build. Really simple to use. Works with airpods to listen in privacy or not to wake up anyone. Music app is seamless between your iphone and this. Absolutely fast and not a clunky UI. I want one for every room of my house and garage. Got real tired of casting using the google chromecast, back to a remote thankfully. Much quicker and less of a hassle to use than casting with all the apps loaded on the apple tv. Lastly get a remote cover.

    The Best of its Kind

This thing doesn't need introduction. It's at least one of the top 3 best streamers, if not the best. Most importantly for me, it can match dynamic range and framerate, has excellent upscaling with no extra image processing, you can make a shortcut to dim the screen when pressing the back button three times, control the volume and power of your tv and any othet IR controlled device (like an audio amp), and best of all: NO ADS in the UI, something that's ULTRA RARE but should be standard. One flaw (if you care): all audio is outputed at 48kHz, which is perfect for movies and shows but not good for streaming music because music is typically in 44.1kHz and gets resampled, a sloppy process that most people can't hear but audiophiles like me can.

It's hard to go back to Roku and other options because of how great the experience is, especially if you're in the Apple Ecosystem. Having Airpods, Photos, Music, Game Saves, Podcasts, Homekit Cameras/Notifications/Scenes and much more sync seamlessly is amazing. The screensavers on this thing are absolutely stunning and I love having them on with music in the BG to set the mood for gatherings and such. This Apple TV has the new A15 chip which is amazing for gaming with Apple Arcade and other games, what's great is the saves sync on a Per-Profile Basis so my wife, son and myself can all have our own saves for the games we have on there. These performance gains also translate to better general use, I find that I can have much more apps running in the background, making switching between way faster, and the apps also perform better than any other box I've used. For those TV quality enthusiasts, you can also color calibrate your display using your iPhone and interfacing with the Apple TV, this would normally cost a lot and take lots of time and special equipment.

Latest Apple TV Remains a Solid Option

Apple's lates version of their venerable Apple TV remains a solid choice and provides a worthy though not totally NECESSARY upgrade, especially if you already own the previous Apple TV 4K model. It looks almost exactly the same as the model it replaces, remaining just as much of a dust magnet. I do love the new remote control. It is bigger and way more manageable and I prefer the easier to spot silver color as opposed to the easy to lose in the sofa cushions black remote. The aerial screensavers remain an awesome way to show off your flatscreen TV, just wishing they would have provided more updated ones. Hopefully new ones will be coming shortly. I went with the 128 GB Ethernet model, but there is also the cheaper wi-fi only option available as well. While ease of use is good, there is a learning curve if you want to get the most out of it. Recommended!

This is the Apple TV I was waiting for. Fast A15 processor that loads apps quickly and is also powerful enough to smoothly run games from the App Store. The remote is rechargeable through its USB-C port so you won’t have worry about buying batteries. It has built in Bluetooth so you can connect wireless headsets, speakers, and controllers for PS5 or XBox to it. Apple TV 4K also supports Spatial Audio, so if you have HomePods, AirPod Pro, or AirPods Max, you can take advantage of this feature.

My friend has the same unit and the sound out of her sound system is so far superior to mine, and I have a decent Samsung 7.1 surround. So I just decided to splurge and get this unit instead of using the built-in Google TV on my TCL Q7 And the sound did not disappoint. Even though they are both supposed to be Dolby Atmos ™, it sounds so much better coming out of the Apple. It only gets four stars, because the remote is really annoying. I turned off the touchpad tracking and didn't even know until I asked my friend about it that you could. Also when I power something on and off I wanted to turn on and off I don't want to have to click multiple times because the remote even with the tracking turned off, so sensitive I frequently click the navigation ring and hit something I don't want to. You may say I'm uncoordinated, and I'd agree with you. But I can't be the only one
