Bought for voice control feature,needs very recent tv.some brands don’t support

Connected with Direct TV Now and Prime Network through Google fiber. Functions without any issues.

The remote is the worst part. I've been an Apple person since the first iPhone. I had multiple issues with apps not loading and being completely unusable. I ended up returning the item as just using the built in smart features of my TV.

We like it but the Apple remote is still required even with the Harmony remote.

Works well, price was right. Interfaces with iPhone and iPad. Works well with them.

Only draw back is not having Netflix push to the “Watch Next” section. This device is a life saver.

All my family has iphones. The Apple tv makes it very easy for every body to share pictures and more.

This is another great example of why I generally avoid Apple products. The Apple TV is very sleek looking and like all Apple products I've used it seems to be well made. But who cares if it looks good when its basically an over priced subpar media player in a shiny box. The Apple TV costs between 2-5 times the cost of other well known media players but in my experience it functions worse than the Roku's I've had. It consistently lags. After the first couple of weeks it stopped mirroring the Iphones we had connected to it. It frequently returns errors when trying to access subscription channels which we purchased through itunes. And even though Apple and Itunes are the same company, trying to get support for the subscriptions is impossible. They expect you to contact the channel providers when it is obviously an apple software issue. Overall it was a very disappointing purchase. It gets 3 stars because of the shiny appearance, 1 star for the functionality.
