I LOVE APPLE TV! I use it primarily for streaming netflix, connecting to my computer and listening to music and viewing my pictures. It is extremely simple to setup and even more so to use. I especially like how I can connect it to my iPhone 4S and iPad and mirror what I am doing, which is great for when I am showing multiple people documents and presentations. Overall I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Out of the box, my new Apple TV worked great...and still does. Setup was simple. I have mine connected via wireless with no issues. I primarily bought it for Netflix capability, but quickly found that connecting it to my iMac for media sharing was also very useful. My wife and I like the simplicity of the menu scheme, and we also like the Netflix interface. The size and ease of use make the new Apple TV a winner.

I purchased Apple TV for streaming Netflix and for mirroring our iPad for videos and even for VMware View Client VDI sessions for work. It is quiet and light enough to mount to the wall behind the TV using velcro to keep it out of sight. It is painless to set up. It's very easy to operate even for my 8 year old. Navigating the screen with the standard remote takes a bit of time to get used to, but the Remote app for iPad or iPhone addresses this shortcoming. I wish it would have a standalone browser and access to the App Store.

Hello, Those of you how are having trouble with constant annoying buffering while using Netflix with your apple tv2, try setting the network to manual with DNS changed 008.008.008.008. This made a huge difference in performance & we are really enjoying this product. It's a big plus to be able to control with ipad or ipod. Compared to other options out there, apple tv2 seems to be the best value for the money.

I have an iPad 1 with OS5+ and wanted to take advantage of a couple of the benefits. First, I wanted to stream my iTunes to my stereo - not from my computer speakers. And the iPad becomes your juke box - controlling it all - without having to keep the television screen on since we were using the optical connection to the sterep directly (like we were doing with cable music channels). Second, I wanted to share my photos on the television screen when we did have guests over. The screen saver option is a wonderful sharing tool. Third, it also permits you to watch a lot of web content - youtube, flickr, etc. - at no cost. It will mirror video from the websites viewed on the iPad. And iTunes movie watching is available, too. Easy set up. Easy navigation. Elegant solution at a good price.

I love the Apple TV, it is so small but yet performs so big! It is great to use with an iPod touch or iPhone, as it connects itself quickly and easily. The main use I bought it for, is to view my movies and videos stored on my iPod, on my TV. The movie and video quality is great and it's easy and wireless to view everything on your iPod or iPhone. Also, it's nice to view YouTube and Netflix with this Apple TV. The remote control is very nice, made of aluminum so it's sturdy but quality buttons with all the functions of the iPod or iPhone. I Love this Apple product, it proves I cannot go wrong with anything Apple produces.

I like the Apple TV. It is small but has a lot to offer including Netflix and youtube and it steams everything from iTunes to my TV. The only draw back is that I can not mirror my iPad 1 or iPhone 4 to the Apple TV. This requires an iPad 2 or a iPhone 4s which was not clearly stated in the advertisements.

It is a great smart TV device to use in your home.

Here is a easy to install, user friendly and multi-media streaming device that blows anything else away especially Roku. Even Netflix streams quicker using Apple Tv. Want to display your photo content, videos,music etc to your HD tv? its just so easy using iTunes and the Apple Tv. It is also a small non-intrusive and attractive device. Its a must have.

I just love using the Apple TV. Here is what I really like: 1. AirPlay and mirroring with my iPad2 is great. I can play games, watch video, stream Pandora and lots of other apps. 2. Accesses all my iTunes music from iCloud 3. Very convenient to rent HD movies and TV shows 4. Very slick user interface 5. Very responsive remote control 6. Rock solid performance. 7. Great price Since I got the Apple TV and iPad 2 (both from Best Buy), I have been using them with my TV more than any other device - my cable box, my Vaio HTPC and my LG Blu Ray player. I initially thought that the 720p resolution would not be good, but on my 60 inch Pioneer Plasma (it's an Elite PRO 151FD) the picture and audio are excellent. I watch from around 9-10 ft away.

Bought the Apple TV to be able to play music and videos from my iPad, but love the Netflix features. Very graphically helpful, and the video quality is very good. I had been streaming Netflix through my BluRay player, but now considering buying another Apple TV for the bedroom TV as it operates both wired and WiFi.

Just purchased a MacBook Pro a few months ago (my first), and since I watch alot of internet "tv", and appreciate watching YouTube, and my own photos and videos, I decided to give Apple TV a try. I LOVE IT!! My own pics and movies look amazing on the big screen, and watching content from the internet is so easy now... sit back, relax, and watch it on my tv!! Great value! Shows/movies to purchase on iTunes are comparably priced to the other internet sellers, and it's just so easy to use!

The Apple TV is another great product from Apple. The ONLY problem I have had with this device is with streaming Netflix on it. For some reason, no matter what you do with your network and device setup, Netflix does not stream well over the ATV. The only thing I can figure is that since Apple and Netflix are competitors that Netflix may be deliberately crippled on ATV. However, if you are like me you have 2-3 other devices connected to your TV that can stream Netflix, so big deal. Everything else this device does works perfectly and I love having connected to my home theater.

Not much to say except I absolutely adore this little device! Mostly use it for AirPlay from iPad, iPhone, computer, etc. Works really well with Netflix and I especially love the fact I can browse Netflix content and am not restricted to my instant queue like with my DVD player. Was very easy to set up on my wireless network. Am using a five year old linksys b/g one and that was no issue. Only configuration problem came when I decided to configure Apple TV with static IP - my download times on iTunes and Netflix became ridiculously long so I went back to DHCP which kind of bothers me.

I adore my Apple TV. I do wish it had full-fledged access to internet, but it only accesses media-based sites like Netflix and Youtube. It would have been perfect if I could access my social media sites, but I am sure they're working on adding that feature... one day! Please keep in mind that you need to buy an HDMI cord for this product to work. Someone may try to sell you on the more expensive HDMI cord, which I bought and returned (after receiving a defective cord) --- but it works just fine with your standard, less expensive HDMI cord. You must have high speed internet.

I use the Apple TV in my RV and it works fairly good at most parks. The trouble is that the WiFi speed sometimes does not have the bandwidth/speed necessary to get a complete movie without pauses. I am in a part with my own hard internet connection/wifi and it still depends on the time of day I am trying to watch a movie that I don't have pauses. I have VUDU on my iPad and I have not had any pauses at all for this service. I connect my iPad to my HDTV with an HDMI cable and it works every time. I connect to the same WiFi as my Apple TV used but with much better results. I even had trouble with first version Apple TV I use at home with the same situation. Using WiFi the Apple TV needs an extremely strong signal to make it through a complete movie without pauses.

I'm already a Mac user, and the Apple TV adds usability that I'd always wanted, but didn't know how to make happen. I can now stream my entire iTunes library to my television, allowing me to use my computer without slowing down other processes. Apple TV has a sleek interface, with minimal kinks. I had previously used my Wii to stream Netflix, but now I use the Apple TV to do that as well, making it easier to flip between it, YouTube, iTunes, and rentable movies. There are a few little nitpickey things, that I can't remember this early in the morning, but I believe they are things that will easily be solved by updated software in the future. All in all a great product, especially if you already use apple products.

This is my first experience with a device of this type and with Apple's new IOS 5.0, it was a logical addition to my iPad and iPhone. For right at $100, I am able to view any picture or video or listen to any song on my iPhone, iPad, or computer (non Apple brand) relatively bug free. With the newest upgrade on IOS 5.1, I am able to use "mirroring" to see and hear exactly what is on my iPad on the big screen. The only thing keeping it from a 5 star rating is that any feature other than youtube that I have not listed on here requires some sort of third party subscription. Al in all, very well worth the $99!

Overall I have been very happy with our Apple TV. It's a great product and has met our needs. There are two issues that I have with this item. This first is that it doesn't always play well with Netflix. Once we moved from a wireless connection to a wired connection, this issue seamed to be resolved. The other issue is the lack of content or access of content. Hulu does not work with this product along with basic "web" browser. I knew this when purchasing the product. With the two limitations in mind, this product has server our needs perfectly. We use it with our iTunes and Netflix. We love the built in "free" radio channels. Overall it's a great product that I would recommend to anyone. Worth every penny.

This is a great product. I love apple! I have the phone, computer and now the little tv! If you don't have an iPhone, this remote that they give you will be very hard to get use to it! Since I do have the iPhone I'm able to control the screen much easier! I going to buy another for the living room, even though my blu ray have the YouTube and stuff, it's very hard to use it will a regular control and not only that, it's WAY too slow. GREAT JOB APPLE for developing a great product!
